I am in student visa and my wife wanted to by my student dependent visa i filled up the form i wrote, the type of visa/application as Dependent partner but while making a IHS payment the visa showed type and category as student student (Dependent). After IHS during visa fee payment it showed PBS dependent Partner, still visa application form shows Dependent partner. Is this right or should it be different ?

My wife COS date assigned was
11 April 2023
And will expire on (used by) 11th July 2023.
Concerning the work date on the cos is
Start date 11 April 2023
End date 31 March 2028
Furthermore, my wife is currently in the uk about 4 months ago as a health and care worker on a 5 year visa sponsorship and I am in Ghana.
Today’s date is 20th October 2023. And will like to join her as dependent on a dependent visa. My question is can I use her Cos for the application so far as her cos is ticked yes to certifying maintenance of dependents. And will the used by date on the Cos have an effect on me as a dependent even it expires and she’s still with the employer. Also is the used by date thus 3 months only entitled to the main applicant but not her dependents so that can join her after 6 months or 5 months. I will be much happy if you explain it better to my understanding because I am confused.
