2 stroke engines need backpressure (exhaust) to get max hp. For motorcycles even expansion exhausts where made to get the maximal hp out of the engine.

Put my new muffler on my 2511P last night, Hard to believe that the muffler can make a 25cc saw sound on the rowdy side but it does.👍

Stock muffler on a 592 is basically a gutted tin can to start with.
