For real! I’m honestly pleasantly surprised with my local pet smart and petco. I’ve got to give them credit on an individual store basis. But still nothing like this
Always fun to get together with Cory, and late night at the shop when no one else is there, really cool, cause you see things that you may not when the store is crowded with customers.
I'm not sure when this walk thru was done. I live about 30 miles away myself. Lol. On the 26th I came across some beautiful celebes. And they've been getting in some gorgeous furcatas.
First thought: Dean’s T-shirt giving continuity vibes to other videos. Second thought: Cory and Dean’s friendship is so pure and must be protected at all cost.
I have to say a few things here. Cory, I really appreciate you and your team so much. The amount and quality of your content is amazing. over the last few years I developed depression and anxiety. I somehow stumbled back into the hobby I had left long ago after a move. Now I am about 2 years back into the hobby and when I am down and my fish aren't enough to help, yours always are. Thank you so much for sharing your setups, products, experience, time and energy in this community. It is wonderful to have people who are as passionate as you are as involved as you are with all the things you do to contribute. I also admire that you still have fish at home. I think it speaks volumes of your passion that after building a company to sell fish, you've maintained your love enough to still keep some at home. Thanks again!
Totally worth the drive. I won't be going anywhere else. Clean, informative, supplies are reasonable, unlike any of the others stores. You can see they are Proud of what they do.
You could always assemble the tank on site. That would deal with half the logistical problems of adding a 10ft tank to the store. Acrylic is easy to bond together, it doesn't have to be pre-built!
Cory you where talking widows. One of the coolest windows I ever saw, was stained glass of Koi fish . I thought it would be great for and aquarium store.Stained glass fish seen keep it simple.
I'm assistant manager of The Fish Room in Raleigh, NC. Our front reef display tank gets blasted by early morning sunlight for several hours before we open shop so we've been hanging a thin white foam board on the front glass viewing panel each night before we leave. So far it has helped greatly to mitigate various algae and cyanobacteria growth and it was very easy to make.
This is a really fun video. I always enjoy watching you and Dean get together ans share your love of fish. The unscripted type exchanges like this are always so full of great info and great fish ideas. Thank you both.
Anthony Brown I agree. He is getting more comfortable as well as showing how witty and spontaneous he can be. We may be getting close to the FIRST video from Deansfishroom. 😉🤔
Thanks, it was a great opportunity to see Aquarium Co-Op store. I would totally visit live it but I live the Netherlands so for me it was awesome too see it here. i do like it and I'd visit it as often as possible only to look at the fish. Love the betta rack
Cory, you have to love Dean's enthusiasm for fish and especially your store and warehouse. It seems to me that he comes up with ideas to display your store and warehouse, anything to talk fish. You're very fortunate to have a friend like Dean that supports you and Aquarium Co-op.
Corey you and Dean are such good friends lifetime!True blessing to have so much to talk about I can feel the warmth and love between the two of you kind of like two good buddies or maybe even dad and Son Or at least precious mentor
Thumbs Up guys...@ Aquarium Co-Op Shop window needs a large block out and Murphy is what you want across the front.Frosted decal will allow some light in to avoid making the shop to dark from block out. Before worrying about the upgrade to Murphy's tank get a good look at base of store as that amount of weight maybe outside load limit of base material.(Alot of Aquaruim stores get a bill from landlord to repair place later from Cracking floor)
Hey Corey, I’m an interior designer in Vancouver BC and happened to stumble upon your video which mentioned your betta tank algae problem... Anyhoo ... I’m wondering if you have ever thought about blackout roller blinds powered by a remote with your graphics on one side? That may solve your problem and keep those fish tanks from growing algae that you are speaking of… Just a thought.
Use window tint for cars! My local tint guy does the banks, some fast food stores, and regular stores. You can use any tint percentage you want. If it's not dark enough then you can go back and add a layer of film if need be or just redo it.
Oh man! My new Spec V is cycling and it's going to be a home for a betta and some plants. I'm definitely coming by to pick a betta when it's cycled! Your selection looks way better (and more humane) than anywhere else.
Love watching Murphy getting fed and you speaking to him he is so. clever I can understand why he is a favourite with everyone wasn’t so sure about him at first but love all the unusual fish half I didn’t know existed
Great video Cory! I love these long videos because I can just sit down, relax, and watch you and all of your cool fish. I often do this while I'm sitting next to one of my own fish tanks. lol.

Great shop set-up !! You can tell that you really take pride in your work.. That makes All the Difference in the World.. Will you be shipping fish when it gets into spring with warmer temperatures ?? I want to get the Shellies, that I will start with, from Your store !!!
Surely it would be easier to do a custom build in location. You could go for a pond style setup with two viewing panels on the two sides you can actually see. It would be a bunch cheaper so you could do the larger height. You can also build a filter inside the tank, maybe with a cool feature, something really unique for a store like a waterfall and emersed plants.. just a thought
I have hundreds of the Japan Blue/Gold double sword guppies … the one with the longer tail is a little older. These are beautiful guppies and I enjoy watching them swim around but I'm ready to start letting some go and get them in other people's tanks. The solid gold coloring on the females is awesome!!
@@deansfishroom Hi Dean, you're humble as always. Yes, Murphy has quite the personality, as do you and Cory. I enjoy watching both of you and learning from you. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion with humor and fun!
Happy new year.... Happy fish keeping....u have beautiful store...all tanks are so clean and beautiful set up..u give beautiful environment to all fishes
helo dean, pls suggest 5 basic tips for angelfish keeping for beginners. In your past experience, because I love angelfish, your advice will be helpful for who loves to keep angelfish
When I see this place, all I can think is... 1. Who or how many people feed all those fishes? 2. Who or how many people clean the tanks and every when? 3. What would happen if the power goes out? Beautiful store tho!
You have Cory a very nice selection of fish in your store the fish are healthy and the tanks are well maintained it’s a very nice hobby fish keeping good video 👌👌👌
Hey Co-op thanks for all your wonderfull videos. I have a request: Please allways show the nametags on the tanks. Often I dont get the specific names when you talk fast 😀
I started keeping fish as a kid 45 yrs ago. Have kept all kinds of things both fresh and salt water. Freshwater mid-level fish, i love schools of cardinal tetras. they look amazing in my planted tank. Bottom hillstream reticulate loach. He's the clown of my tank. Often seen him floating on big amazon sword leaves that are bouncing in the filter current. Considering getting a few others to see how they interact with eachother
You can add solar film on storefront windows to reduce and or totally negate light. Check with your local tint shop in town. and talk to them on what you’re trying to achieve. Most likely they’ll have what you need.

Hi Dean I'm a big fan! Any tips on breeding egg scattering fish like ghost knives? How do you save the eggs...
I love that Dean is getting more involved with the videos. He's an absolute pleasure! (Not that I don't love you too Cory!).
First thought: Dean’s T-shirt giving continuity vibes to other videos.
Second thought: Cory and Dean’s friendship is so pure and must be protected at all cost.
That conversation at the end was the best part! I loved the logistics talk. Please keep us updated!
I legitimately love seeing Dean in videos so much. His conversations have so many decades of knowledge behind them and I always learn so much 🙏

The enjoyment and happiness that Dean still gets from these fish makes me smile. You guys are awesome.
Always a joy to watch Cory and Dean doing a video together. It's somehow....therapeutic
Absolutely love Dean's passion and it really comes across on screen. Good job cory...and whoever's editing (is it still jimmy?)

I love you videos MD 😁
I really enjoyed hanging out with you guys. Thanks 🙏
This is my favorite type of aquarium co-op vid. Where they are just talking openly in the store
This should be a regular series just Cory & Dean hanging out after hours discussing the store and their future fish plans
The setup is so beautiful and kept so immaculate Corey. That was a cool “on the spot” challenge selection.
You could always assemble the tank on site. That would deal with half the logistical problems of adding a 10ft tank to the store. Acrylic is easy to bond together, it doesn't have to be pre-built!

sis howser hmmm they make glass paint and Cory knows some artists. :)
Love the idea for 10 or more fish of one type and get 10% off, probably the easiest way to trick a new hobbyist into having a more successful setup.

Your choice of petricolas is a good one. I was just at someone’s garage fish room that has thousands. He’s bred and sold over 10k!
I have synotontis petricola fish in both of my community tanks and they are my favorite little fish...they are so fun to watch:)
Alway love when you two do a Video lol great times!!!!
Just hire ATM to take care of the new tank. Let them deal with the logistics and risk. Store is looking nice. Hope to visit some day.
probs costs too much

I really love the betta display as it looks really "healthy" for the fish.
Nic
It's not permanent though and they all look healthy
You could get a signwriter to paint an aquarium scene and your shop name on that window.

what a sleek and clean fish shop
Ugh I love Murphy so much!! 💛💛
Yes to loaches! Love them!! We have at least 6 or 7 and they all play together in the tank
You have an amazing selection of betta! They're beautiful.
For a custom tank like that could they assemble it in store? Have the factory make the pieces then assemble where you want it. Might be easier.
Yeah, that seems to make more sense in this scenario.
And a plywood tank with only two glass faces to save on expenses too.
