CERTAINLY. I loved the remake of Super Mario RPG. I own the Japanese version on the SNES... But never played it of course lol. But the remake was amazing.
I’d hope so as Nintendo said that the reason Paper Mario series went a different direction after TTYD was cause since they already had Mario and Luigi as a RPG they didn’t want to many series in the mario games to be all RPG’s so they tried to lean Paper Mario more Puzzle based. Now that Mario and Luigi is no longer happening as Alphadream got bankrupt. So that is probably why they might take Paper Mario more rpg based with puzzles.
man let me tell ya, IM SO EXCITED for this game, can NOT wait any longer lol, I do hope there's a Luigi or that we get like a cutscene of luigi then his partner explaining the events of the story. With both these being remade tho it give me hope we'll get a Mario and Luigi remake/new game
Honestly, getting cut-scenes of Luigi would be arguably just as good as playing through his chapters haha. I really want Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga to get remade... (properly) That was a gem.

@dreye3215 that's true, but they didn't remake it. They just re released for a different system. Everything on the games is still the same. The graphics, the gameplay, and the dialog for the characters. I've actually have the first game on my wii.
One of favorite games of all time, I remember when this game first came out when I was 10. I rented the first game from the video store so many times they actually sold it to me. I remember seeing the display at my local Costco and begging my great aunt to buy it for me. Eventually I got it for Christmas. You need to play this game.

The remake of Bowsers' inside story was a worse experience than the original in part because of little increases in battle loading times adding up and ruining the pace of the game. Messing up and engaging with an enemy you wanted to ignore should at most be annoying, it should not be frustrating.
It's amazing that after about 20 years, Nintendo has finally decided to remake the greatest paper mario game in the franchise. I actually still have my old gamecube, and it still works. I can't wait to hear the soundtrack for the remake

I’d still love to see a museum in this remake. Maybe instead of a journal, have a place to display badges, recipes, and perhaps art and music. “The Origami King” had stuff like that. But either way, “The Thousand-Year Door” will always remain to be my most favorite Paper Mario game.
1: I see ya did a video like GameXplain already made but I still like it. 2: I won't get the game for myself since we need to save money for important things and its hard for me to want to play games all by myself 'except a few classic games on NSO since lots of us likes classic games and Darby of Blue Television Games Tuesdays streams of usually lots of classic games picked by lots of people in the chat' and there's games hard for me that's easier for other people but Lord willing I'll watch GameXplain do a full game streamed playthrough playlist of TTYD remake if/when they do that like Derrick Bitnerd did for the GC version before he left GameXplain and took his streamed playlists to his YT channel Bitnerd Games.
I never played the original version of this game, but looking at the details within it and the remake it’s been given I will definitely pick up a copy when it releases😊
@@Swiftjar haha you never know. Yeah I’ve always been more of a 2d side scrolling gamer more on the casual side, but I want too play more games of this type and have started to play more 3d games, and TTYD looks soo good😊
@@Bennyboymuk8 I don’t always recommend games especially when you’re into more casual.. But this is a good one to pick up! You can take your time with it and actually enjoy a world. Every character has a story, it’s just phenomenal. Take your time with it if you do get it. :)
I don't know if you ever talked about it but the ? Blocks now look the same but the ? symbol is more modernize in shape for both item yellow and badge red. Brick Blocks look different too?

for the fire flower being different in twilight town, i think it’s be cool for Ice Ice outpost or whatever chapter 7 was called it was a ice flower in the snow area. I haven’t played this game in such a long time I’m just ready for it to come out on switch.
The real question is will they still keep Vivian as a trans character, I REALLY hope so and off-topic but the LGBTQIA Community simply just needs respect and representation in general. @@Swiftjar I thought the 3DS remake was pretty solid imo, it was how I experienced it for the first time, and I prefer it over the GBA version (though that minion quest mode was absolutely terrible)
Maybe some of the new features are more min-games to play at the arcade? And new badges that would change how Mario looks a bit? Like how he could look like Wario or Luigi? How cool would it be for him to look like Peach, Toad or Bowser? And the partner characters could each say something different about the changes from time to time.

Hopefully "changes to make the game easier to enjoy" means they're doing something about the backtracking, becasue that is a significantly bad thing about this game that not a lot of people talk about.
I'm hoping so to. I personally don't remember the back-tracking as the big of an issue. But granted, I did it a LONG time ago and I still remember doing it... so maybe it was haha.
@@SwiftjarIt just goes to show just how much meticulous work they've put into this remake, even going as far to make the item shop fireflower logo match the theme of twilight town. It's truly remarkable because it's such a subtle and quite trivial aspect of each area, and yet they went out of their way to add more detail to it.

TTYD was the only paper Mario game I haven’t played, so I’m rlly excited for this remake
It’s arguably the best to! Obviously comes down to personal opinion though. For me it ranks as #1.. with the original as a close second
I trust the fanbase with its rankings, except Color Splash. That game is the 2nd best (in my opinion)

The item shop logo in Twilight Town is sick. I know it's a tiny TINY detail, but it's still really cool.
