i still have my old girl 2011 durango with 280k miles. she is my favorite. i gave up my big trucks for her... she tows, stows and cruises just like when i bought her.
I just spent 3k on maintenance for my 2011 car. Tough pill to swallow but hey, no car payment!

I am driving a 2012 Chevy Tahoe that has over 213,000 miles on it. It’s been paid for for years, is an absolutely perfect condition and I love it!
Used cars are so awesome, even with repairs now and then it is still cheaper than new car payments and high insurance. We started paying cash for our vehicles about 20 yrs ago.

Nice, the only thing I would've added would be pillow and padding for window seating. Someone will guarantee always sit there, so might as well add butt cushion😊
The office is amazing! I love the color of the walls. Andrea, I admire what a hard worker you are. I have a suggestion, hang your window blind as close to the ceiling as you can and let the bottom of it just cover the top of the woodwork of the window. It will just give the illusion the window is a lot bigger. Love all your videos! You truly inspire me, thank you.

Still rocking the 2008 Chrysler Town and Country over here. We have hauled everything you can imagine in that minivan (appliances, SO much furniture, bags of concrete, enough lumber to finish our basement, drywall, antique doors… you name it, we’ve probably shoved it in a minivan) and it’s still kicking.
Quick suggestion - why not put a standing desk with the same butcher block as the top? Also, the dark green looks a bit overpowering…since it’s already in the kitchen, bedroom closet and kids’ play room, a lighter color could have been nice…

Love the office project! Well done! Only two suggestions : move the blind up one foot if you’ve retained the length and add a long seat cushion to the base of the window for use as a window seat as your friend indicated. The kids will love it!

That's the most beautiful office I've seen in my life. The only thing I'd have added is a cushion pad the same colour as the sofa on the window seat. From one Andrea to another Andrea: you are absolutely brilliant!

I agree on the car payment thing. One-thousand dollars is a large bill but still cheaper than buying a new car
For such a small room, it took a lot of work to make it your dream come true. Good job on the design and final look. Sometimes it's all about how it feels in the space. You said many times that was the best part. side note: I had a paid for, 2013 car. Last month I had a fender bender which totaled my car (dang it!) No one was hurt except my car. Then I bought a paid for 2012 car using the funds from my insurance. That hurt but no car payment! No car payment is the best!

i drive the most beat up 06' honda Civic. It was my first car at 16...i will be 29 in February! Its good on gas, no car payments, and the insurance is like $500/year.

The color choice, the stain, and that art piece absolutely made this makeover! It’s so gorgeous and love the candle sconces as framework for the painting. This looks amazing! However I must say I believe the leather chairs were perfect in the space. I feel their coloring complimented the space so much more especially with only one chair having the throw blanket. Balanced but homey perfection. Either way the place is stunning. You make me wanted to learn to use these tools and equipment.

We have the exact same (bought with cash years ago) 2011 van & the same love for it. 😂 She makes old lady noises sometimes but she has over 300,000 miles as of last month!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

We bought it in 2014 with 40,000 miles.
It is paid for, still looks so nice and hit 70,000 miles, I can’t remember when.
We ride in my husband‘s ram longhorn truck more than my vehicle .
