We Gen Xers know Steve Perry as "The Voice". Passion. Brother you hit it right on the head. The memories this song evokes are from dancing with my gf in HS at the concert. Her grip on me tightened, I did same and both of us had a tear. We didnt last, but you know what? Saw her 35 years later and the first thing we talked about was that moment at the show with her husband having to hear about it. She told him "I dont care. It was a moment you dont forget when u r a teenager and that was what we saw as love..for 6 months" lol I still think of her when I hear it. It runs deep dude.
