In this video, I try to solve the problem with water getting in to the door pockets. And I also replace the damaged speakers

Why did you remove all the parts of the door? The mod could have been done by just removing the last cover you took off.

Why don’t you just remove the speaker panel? Seems the first part of removing the door panel is not necessary or am I wrong?
You are right. Too much work done but idea is good and I can confirm it works very well!

@@mihaimlesnite6789 Yes, indeed. Like almost every time. Original speakers with some EQ applied sounds quite good if they are in good condition.
And if you want to, pioneer made a replacement kit that fit in oem speaker holes. 👍
Does the upgrade work well? I have just installed new speakers HERTZ DSK 130.3 and don't want to get them wet.
Yeah they work, since these cars don't have that protective plastic layer between the door trim panel and the door i would say that it is necessary to give any speaker some protection from behind. But make it sturdy so you don't create vibrating noises, those are quite annoying.
@@thepixalator6758 In the end I had wrapped the back side of the door card with thic nylon. Worked very well.
