And what I love about it most is that you don’t have that Freecoaster wiggle back and forth so your bike feels so much more solid and if you run breaks you can have them way more deiled
Honestly the idea of the hub is really cool but I just switched back from free coaster to cassette and I’m really liking it so I’m staying like that.I’ve rode my friends free night hub which is basically the same
I have a question, what do I have to do to make this hub not engage when I fakie?? It seems no matter what I do, its completely random when the hub decides to engage while im trying to fakie. btw Just watched this video and checked your channel out, dope stuff! I dropped a sub!
thanks for the sub! for this hub it is different than normal freecoasters because it is engaged always when the wheel is rotating forward, so you dont have to backpedal at all when you want to land fakie, the wheel just goes freecoaster when it is rolling in reverse. it takes a minute to get used to, but if you try to land fakie a little faster you will start trusting it to freecoast instantly!
David Anderson So whenever I roll up to a QP and then try to roll back into fakie, the cassette engages n the pedals spin backwards (seemingly randomly, some times free coasts n some times not) Is there anything I need to do or that I'm doing wrong before hand to make the hub not freecoast? I am a beginner btw and never had a free coaster or previous bmx fakie experience lol. I'm close to learning fakie but the inconsistency of this hub is frustrating so far lol.
@@andrewstrobert5840 yeah, its mainly just making sure your pedals dont rotate forward at all when you start the fakie, that will engage the hub. if you are still having trouble you can always try to backpedal one rotation when you start to fakie and that will make the hub disengage and roll back properly.
when compared to say a shadow cassette, how loud is it when coasting normally? i ride my bike around with friends and sometimes the clicking from the cassette makes it hard to hear each other, so i figured i'd ask
I love your editing style and how you leave in the little pauses and funny moments.
Really great explanation of slack too man
thank you so much, glad you enjoyed!
subscribing to you because you are a lip god
@@daobmx Hell yea thanks dude!!
I knew you shredded from the edits that have gone around didn’t know you had a channel as well
@@Brant_Moore thanks dude haha, and im tryin!

Solid video, dude! You sold me on it!
I'd like to get one, but I just don't like the clicking noise

@@ZhenqiTV same thing on my end. Did you ever figure it out? I probably just need to learn the quirks but it’s a bit frustrating admittedly

I skipped to the riding clips and they were sick, the rail rides and fakie whiplash were beautiful
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Nice clips. If I decide to ride a coaster I'll get this hub.

much quieter than any normal cassette, you can definitely hear eachother talking riding near eachother. no bee swarm feeling hahah
Ha you’re wheels are always so bent I love it lol 😂
U did a better explanation then the bad video lol definitely gonna get this hub soon
Im gunna guess that fly and eclat arent far behind this. Wtp too. 👍
What?
crank flip ok?
oh yeah, best my cranks have spun on a coaster
I’ll wait
for the restock?
whats the spoke length u have to use for building the weel
these are 192 laced 4 cross instead of 3 cross so they are longer than a normal wheel build
Can it double crankflip or at least crankflip effortless?
out the box crankflips perfectly, with a lil slack in your chain double crankflips are more than doable 👍
@@daobmx that's soooo good to know
McRib review next?
i tried to upload it last week but youtube took it down for obvious reasons
