Keep it consistent with posting is my opinion. Maybe not every other day but maybe twice a week and some weeks only once if it’s a bigger video.
I never thought the audio was an issue but this audio is noticeably more clear.

It would be awesome to see what you're up to during the day-to-day but the option is ultimately yours. Consistency is definitely key but not at the expense of burning yourself out. Kick ass video can't wait to see the final result of the powder coating.
You have a tractor so put a hitch mount on the front of the trailer and it’ll make it steering into your garage easier. They sell them at tractor accessory stores. It will make it incredible easy to put the trailer in your garage.

Consistent content like every second or 3rd day is ideal, making it easier to follow what is happening and gives you more of an opportunity to drop knowledge and tips on how to do things... also did I miss the chaser build some how?

Loving the content and this build Grant. I couldn’t help but notice that the locks on your lift are a little out of time. It sounds like they are engaging at different times. A quick cable adjustment will get them back in time and keep everything safe. Looking forward to the rest of this build!

Consistent uplaods is key. Even if nothing big or exciting is going on it opens the door to your personality and makes the viewer feel more like a homie at the hang rather than a fan watching TV.

That chassis is going to turn out killer! From an audio pro... your audio from the Rhode is better for sure and if the Mic is a "cardioid" polar pattern it might do even better clipped to your shirt pocket pointing up at your chin. The hat position may be better for picking up others you're conversing with along with you, but it will also capture more environmental noise. As far as content, I have no prob waiting till you have a significant amount to warrant editing/posting in your opinion whatever that may contain.
I know the pain of backing a trailer into a 9’ garage door, had to do it a few weeks ago to unload my new toolbox, was almost harder pulling it back out haha

Grant the audio sounds fine. Don't worry about trying to make it any better. Continue doing your amazing video's. I wouldn't put any more time or effort into trying to make the sound better. The only thing that I don't understand is. Why didn't you remove the snow off the trailer? Before putting it in your garage. I can only imagine the mess that it made.😅

I'd say for consistency, I would post it all even if they end up being short videos. But I get wanting to wait for cool shit to happen. most of us understand that some of it is just filler, but seeing some struggles helps keep your channel real for the rest of us.

Ohhhh man that makes me miss working in the powder coating industry. Did it for 10 years. Loved it. Worked for the wrong people, with the wrong people. Completely ruined it for me. Also, the audio sounded killer pretty much the whole time. Great quality.

Sound is good. The rode mics are good kit. DJI mic2 just released and is also V good apparently. Might be worth a look if you are still in return period.. not sure if they are better or worth the hassle of changing but im sure there are plenty of reviews to help you choose.. either way it's all good imo.
Coulda just put a few wood battens / pallets under the car to keep the arms off the trailer. Mighta saved you some time vs rigging it up with straps.

Put a hitch on your 4 wheeler or riding mower and use that to maneuver your trailer in tight places it works amamazing
Never thought audio was bad. The mic is better though. You can also easily clean up audio echo/reverb in post. Just look for dereverb or similar for your editing software. There will be a quick way to filter a good bit of it out
Echo's will be more often when a person further away is talking towards the mic, specially in corners of the shop that aren't as populated with stuff as others.
As the noise will bounce off those walls and will create the echo.
What you can also do is since the audio is a separate track from the video, throw it in Audicity or another audio program to adjust it a bit, they have an auto echo cancellation setting that does work pretty neat
You should consider getting a few of the mics as when you have people with you they can have one or you could have a better mic on the camera for some backup audio. This was a way better listen, so keep improving. I think a lot of YTers think a lot about their cam quality and how things look, but good audio is a way bigger deal IMO.
I prefer consistent videos with a big build thrown in there for good measure. Like if you have something major going on then going into the same detail you've been doing is good but also just seeing what you do day to day - within reason, is good too. I find it engaging as a viewer to kind of hang out with you vicariously through the videos.
Also, the mic is awesome but I would just clip it on your collar/hoodie instead of your hat as it's distracting and I'm sure it would still sound as good. Alternatively get a lapel mic and clip it under your clothes so it's not visible but works better - also being under your clothes prevents wind noise.

As a viewer, I like when the person I'm following always is posting. If its bad content, I find that I end up not watching the videos again till its something interesting. I've tried making videos and I gave myself a strict every 3 day posting schedule, and I find that it lacked good content and reallllly just stressed me out and made it not fun to film anymore. So all in all, I say try to post at least once a week, but make it a really good / interesting video!

I watched Adams FD interview and I understand what you mean, but to be honest Grant, your videos are a bit different. They are casual and the different things you're doing are interesting. You talk and brainstorm *to* the audience different to Adam, Jimmy, Luke, Jason but you have less of a structure and presentation. It's more of a journey.
Perfect content to just chill out to. Especially binge if a week behind. It's kinda like being part of just hanging out. Or being part of a casual day of what I wish I was doing.
