Really digging these old build vids.....Awesome stuff Guys.Same route Im taking with my Hakotora Silhouette build....down to the tee...power to weight...seeing what I can do to it with what Ive learned over my 42yrs on this wonderful planet.Thx again guys for sharing everything with us. Goooo DriftGames ! upwards & onwards...Cant wait for the DG Compound
Cool video to show how these pro 1 drift cars are built but one key thing that ppl always leave out is the cost to build. These cars are easily 100-150k to build which most ppl can't afford. There's nothing wrong with pro drifting but grassroots is definitely more relatable to the average person with cars that aren't as extreme. Still a great video nonetheless.
ClutchkickPJ still there are 100 grassroots build videos vs 1 pro car build video. Probably the only motorsport where there is more focus on the grassroots than pro
Lads your really making drifting seem more like a real sport to the general public rather than just people handbraking micras well done ..keep er lit 👌👌👍👍

Wrote an article similar to this on a prodject im working ontheres quite a lot goes into it weather your an amateur building your first car or experianced building a new car..interesting to see this
The tunnel up the middle, is this just for gearbox or to allow the car to be changed for fwd to rwd?? (Still learning please ignore my stupid questions)
In Formula Drift USA, you can submit an FWD car converted to RWD. FWDs converted to RWDs definitely require such massive transmission tunnel, bcs they have none yet when stock. Cars that are already RWD stock usually still need these huge trans tunnel bcs stock transmission are too small and flimsy to handle the abuse from drifting actions. Example is Fredric Aasbo who used a 2019 Toyota Corolla hatchback - stock it's FWD, but he then converted it to RWD and puts in a massive NASCAR gearbox in it. Cheers!
You do need knowledge however this is what else you need...$$$$$ and lots of it. Try building any sort of car without tools,a hoist, a shed out in the driveway amongst the stars lol. First thing before anything is a bottomless pit of money then go from there. If your lucky the money pit will close for a few months at a time
That car is still in the process of being built, but we're hearing it's going to be ready soon enough. Maybe we'll need to shoot a little feature on it, eh?
Cool engineering, how ever why destroy amazing cars that belong to road and removing everything? Just make fucking tube frame and get new spare parts and rebuild blown engines, as you going to replace everything there too. Just such a waste...-.-
Like if you are here after they lost there HQ with fire and to see there beginning
Love it! You guys are really gonna change the game if you keep this up. I can see 2019 being a big year for drifting.
yess :))

Your brothers a legend
No mention of gearboxes thought that would be interesting ... Sequential and paddle shifters etc ... Savage video all the same
We focused on the basics on this first episode, we have plenty more in the tank (so to speak)
Possibly a 4 speed, like most fd cars

Drifting has almost 50 years of history .. what ?!?!
japan in early 70s, they were like normal races but instead they measured the angle they had in corners

These cars are originally rear wheel drive
@@tiernanroulston6239 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ sorry. Literally watching UA-cam clips trying to teach myself. Thank you for the reply

@@driftgames_life Hell yes, sounds like its going to be some machine if its gonna be drift built and i hope its gonna have the original engine in it 😉
Radiator in back so you don't smash it in front collision.
show car more than yalls hand motions plz good stuff though
I wish the builder could finish more of his insights rather than being interrupted so much...
First of all buy a volvo.
