Freddie Highmore was late to appear at A&E's Bates Motel panel at San Diego Comic-Con due to taking a little trip to the original Psycho house at Universal Studios Hollywood for the first time. This video played at the convention before he appeared on stage.

What a fitting seriously quality series this was to add to the original movies....They got the Canada set as near perfect as they could..it worked really well. I wish they could've used this original set..as a good continuation and homage....

How great would it have been if Anthony Perkins was still alive and he played Norman at the Universal lot. The idea of the adult Anthony Perkins Norman and the teenage Freddie Highmore Norman coming face to face would be great.
