- The impossibly charming and talented Freddie Highmore returns to the YH Studio to catch us up on the most intense season of A&E's "Bates Motel" yet, which featured not only Freddie having to pull double-duty acting-wise (portraying both Norman Bates AND his mother) but gave him an opportunity to write an episode as well! He also talks about taking time to attend university, plus we test his linguistic skills!

I've been watching some Freddie interviews for a while and, on the comments, there's always someone who calls him "Posh". I did research and I think it could means elegant, refined, fancy, etc., But I don't know if it is a derogatory way to say it, or if it's just a synonymous for those adjectives. Could you please answer me? C:
Sarai Armstrong posh people are usually part of the upper class and very stingy, However he isn’t stingy or a bad person at all. It’s just his accent is extremely stereotypically posh English, and it’s kinda annoying sometimes lol.

Seriously, I couldn't find the "intention" of the meaning, but in Chile there's is a word "Cuico" (I think it could be the most accurate translation) and we usually use to refer to the upper class people but here (I don't want to generalize but) they are sooooo annoying, and narcissist, and stingy as well, so I couldn't imagine Freddie being that way hahaha. It’s in my top favorite shows. Just everything about it is amazing. The acting. The script. The thrill. The dark humor.
But if you look at reviews people agree. It’s maybe just not as many people have watched it. But the people who have have the same opinion on how great it is.
I still am not used seeing him with stubble, being 24 yo and all. That is the same face of the kid I saw in Chocolate Factory and Finding Neverland. I'm freaking out.

Nah, she's a good interviewer: did a thorough research and kept professional but friendly. Of course she's attracted to him, but I think she did well in keeping the flirting to a minimum and not crossing any lines there.

My favorite interview of Freddie, so far. Brandi laid the facts out instead of asking him the same old questions, she expounded on her questions, that steered him to answer clearly and concisely without rambling. He was obviously at ease, she was flirty, he was laughing. It did feel like a first date...and i enjoyed watching it!
eltankuno I agreed that she did a good job. I think all interviewers should do a thorough research on the person or people that they are about to interview.

at first i thought Freddie should play "mother" more the way Vera ACTS as "Vera the real mother" but then i remembered "MOTHER" is Norman's really twisted inner version of what he THINKS mother is, so... in that case, I think Freddie is a great actor. He's gotten to be so great as you see him in all these *adult* roles, which can be meatier than the kid roles.
