- During Robtop's past development, he had worked on Forlorn, a lost mobile game that never got released to the public. This game surprisingly shares very similar, if not, reused assets from Geometry Dash nowadays. Why was this game cancelled though? How did people end up finding this Robtop game?

This video has been in the works for more than a year in-and-out, due to some complications regarding my PC corrupting my SSD, more updates about this game, and just... being busy with irl stuff in general, so I'm glad that I had the time to work on quite possibly my best video yet, story-wise and production quality. Noel Bishop is not the actual name of the character. There was a lot info on SGA that wasn't archived, and the description they are currently using is copied from a different game with the same name

Speaking of 10 years and 2.1, did you know that 1.0 (released 10 years ago) and 2.1 (released 7 years ago) we're released about 4 years apart? Over half of GD (excluding spinoffs) had no major updates.

After watching this I feel like I understand more on why RobTop came up with Platformer Mode. I wouldn't be surprised if aside from the editor possibilities, it was also a way for him to go back and try more traditional platforming again.
Yeah I honestly could understand why. I should’ve noted in the video that Rob left Forlorn bc it was too ambitious for one of, if not, his first projects ever, but oh well. I feel like with our current editor, we already have just about anything, we only thing we need level is platformer saving (which I’m aware is a mod but I meant in vanilla gd).

The shop theme isn't actually made by robtop, it was made by Kevin Macleod.
are you talking about the Forlorn shop theme (which was made by RobTop and was re-used for the Vault of Secrets in GD) or the GD shop theme (made by Kevin MacLeod)?

can you please stop using interpolation on every single footage? it ruins some of the animations turning them into a blurry mess
It’s mainly the parts that have been slowed down. I tried to use a plugin that would help me do this because it’s p annoying to do it otherwise in my editing software. I’ll try to configure around to prevent that.
