Be patient everyone, it took them 2 years to make the first season. It'll be worth it. The passion with these folks is obvious.

@@suezcontours6653 it's a concept trailer from Titmouse, the animation studio that was greenlit by HBO to create Scavengers Reign. They also did China, IL for adultswim and the "Kill, Team, Kill" episode from Vol. III of Love, Death & Robots on Netflix.
They haven’t even finished. I’m still waiting for the last 3 episodes

This show caught me completely off guard with its sophistication and grace. It wasn’t until the end of the last episode that I realized how much room the story had to grow. On seat’s edge praying they get picked up for another season.
If they don't get the funding from Max or Netflix....they should crowd fund. The demand and interest is there

Scavenger's Reign means a lot to me... it feels like everything I've ever wanted from an adult animation piece and it's done so, so, so beautifully. So BRILLIANETLY!! I can't stop thinking about it. I truly, truly hope this studio continues to make shows forever.
That's right. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen an animation works that shows the ecosystem of another planet or depicts an alien world. Something similar to this animation in terms of alien worlds i saw in the works of René Laloux. But these three cartoons were made a long time ago and are not very high-quality in terms of animation. Well, there is Hayao Miyazaki's Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. The cartoon is quite well made, but there is shaw not another planet, but planet Earth in the post-apocalypse period with a completely different ecosystem created by scientists before the apocalypse to clean and save the Earth. Well, I can still remember three Soviet cartoons, but two of them are short films and one more is a full-length film, but more for children.
This show changed the way I think about sci-fi so drastically, I want to thank the creators for making it with such dedication and passion
Luckily, I came across the trailer and knew from that moment that it would be a visual masterpiece and a burst of creativity, but it turned out even better than I could've hoped for, the narrative is amazing. It's refreshing and it certainly earns a space among the best animated series of the decade.
Scavengers reign was a refreshing series. Looking forward to season 2!

The detail and creativeness of the animals and planet is out the box and just so fluent and not forced on.
I don't know why I'm not hearing more about this show in general, let alone season 2 talks. Easily one of the best shows I've seen in a long time.

This show impacted me immensely. One of the best things I ever watched. I don't have the proper words
I absolutely LOVED this show. Finally a Truly alien planet ! With a bunch of very strange lifeforms and a wonderful ecosystem that doesn't look like a revamped version of earth ! The outlandish appearance of the flore & fauna gave the same awe-inspiring feeling I had reading the french comic "Aldebaran" when I was a kid ! I am really hoping for a 2nd season !
There are three more works by René Lalu. But these are old jobs. The quality of the animation is much lower there, and the alien worlds are not shown so fully.
The show itself brings a whole new vibe and emotion. Amazing storyline, breathtaking scenery, and an amazing concept. I really loved it.

This show was absolutely one of a kind and deeply beautiful. And unfortunately this kind of magic usually gets cancelled. Made me wish this story was more self contained as much as I am dying to see more of Vesta. But unfortunately this show didn’t blow up the way invincible did.

After I watched the trailer, I was immediately hooked. I found out that it had an original animation, and I watched that, too. After the first season came out, I pretty much binge watched it. I would love to see more. ❤

I like how this show puts so much thought in the biology and ecology of the planet. You've got food webs, symbiosis, parasitism and natural disasters. I have finished the last two episodes of season 1 - I'm definitely looking forward to them!
Just wow! Just finished season 1. Guys you deserve more accolades than what I feel this received. Feel like it got buried in other content may be the reason; just lack of exposure.This world is beyond anything created on screen and only possible through animation for the extreme it went to. Hope for a season 2 huge fan of the American style animation and what you guys accomplished. Tips hat**
I just finished the first season, and to me the only thing wrong with this show is that we have to wait for more. This is by far the best pure sci fi animation that I’ve seen in a long time. I hope we do get a season 2!

I have one or two gripes but overall scavengers reign is one of my favorite sci-fi shows of all time.

As a life long scifi fan and reader of european scifi comics this show is a dream come true. I don't think I've ever watched scifi in motion that's this imaginative and fresh, a rare 10/10 instant classic for me.
Netflix Better promo the hell out of the first season so we get a second !!

Its such a phenomenal story, with unique characters and stunning visuals.
This is absolutely become my number 1 west animated series, pushed down the invincible, the plot, attention to detail, chefs kiss
truly impressed with season 1, i mean im telling strangers on the bus about it, lol. the only thing missing is a "thank you mobius for inspiring our animation style", because this thing drips with it, even down to the pastel color hues. im sure other people have to have said this but i just havent read anyone drop the dudes name so... also, read the black incal if you like this sort of art and wild out there storylines. theres no way these guys arent going to get more seasons, a company can see a quality product when its there and i think we have a culture thats responding to this kind of media much more positivily and with more interest currently

Magnífica historia, la fotografía me encantó con esos paisajes de la naturaleza y su fauna, guión sofisticado me encantó que en cada capítulo te hiva dando el puzzle para ir desarrollando la trama personales con su personalidad que los caracteriza tenia tanto tiempo que veia una animación que me cautivara. Desde primal que me encanto por que no tiene diálogos y un asi capturó mi atención.
Ojala agan una 2 temporada.
A big fan of science fiction and this series was the happiest discovery of the year for me. It's probably the most important show of the year as well, and in years for sci-fi since Expanse. Great show! I just finished it today. It was a breath of fresh air to the sci-fi genre. Absolutely brilliant animation, and great writing.
I think Joe Bennett will be a big name in the animation scene, like Mike Judge, Matt & Trey, Matt Groening etc.
Bennett will also have a show called Common Side Effects on Adult Swim, which I'm very excited for.

HBO Max cancelled the show just for Netflix to buy it, and from what I've seen people really are loving it, a second season is a possibility.
So stoked we're getting a second season!

LOVED IT! For animated TV series, this is for me the best one in recent years. I don't throw casually word "masterpiece" when describing a TV show or just perceiving as that. However, this is the one. So many creatures that are so unique to anything I've seen before. Moreover, story unfolds so naturally and with twists which makes it all the more exciting. Thank you so much for deliver this to your audience. I hope we'll get to see season 2 because the first one was impeccable.

Mainstream Hollywood usually forgets the story and just goes for flash over substance. The short film was great and the series didn't let down.

Id love to watch the first season as i patiently waited 6 months for the release and though im subscribed to every streamer in Canada including Max Im still not worthy enough to pay for this show and support the creators.

I don’t trust leadership at discovery to do the right thing for content. So far they continue to shoot themselves in the foot with terrible decisions. I hope you get a season 2 and that if you do it see’s air and doesn’t get used as a tax right off which they keep doing as a result of the debt the company is carrying. Discovery company culture has always been toxic as far as im concerned and the decision making with MAX as a brand so far has been dreadful. If MAX doesn’t move forward with a season 2 I think Netflix would be a good home for the show since they’re also doing a lot of good things with animation these days.
Will the location for the second season be on the same planet? It was a character itself.
