Lol Ryan's answer about the dance double is quite cute: basically, "I'm actually in a lot of the stunt scenes because of my flamboyance, but I'm not in the dance scene because unfortunately I'm not THAT flamboyant" 😂
So true. What a great comment. When I think he has played the part as good as anyone could ever play it. The next time out he finds a way to do it even better. It’s obvious he loves the character. I would say he loves the fans just as much. So, when he goes in. It’s always at 100%. The movie was amazing. I don’t care about plot holes or story issues. It was just an amazing fun ride. I watched it on IMAX, which had to be done 😂, and that was super fantastic. I’m actually going to watch the movie again today. I hardly ever go to the theaters anymore so…when I say that. That’s how fun the experience was. Fan service was 💯.
I like him the most in The Wolverine, Logan, and this movie - he managed to play the character in a unique way for each while still being his iconic self
Its so awesome that Ryan isn't even jealous that the most well known scene from the movie wasn't even him in the suit. Hes able to put his ego aside and let people just talk about the actual character instead of his performance
Everyone's job was recognized that's why. The dancer wouldn't be able to pull the acting he did and he wouldn't be able to pull the dance the dancer did. Everyone did what they are good at- at the end that's marketing strategy to get the audience entertained regardless of who is inside the costume.
@@stephano1019 he actually didn’t know, his agent called and told him to send the video but said they couldn’t tell him why He didn’t know that it was actually for the movie for a while allegedly
I 100% agree with Hugh when he said he never quite got to scratch the depths of Wolverine in the previous movies. This movie pretty much ticked off every missed opportunity in terms of storylines, quips, costumes and things fans from the comics always hoped they'd get to see. They packed in everything and more into a film that, by modern superhero film standards, wasn't excessively long either. I'll forever be grateful for these three men (& Feige) for finally delivering a well-rounded Wolverine to the audience.
Yeah, while the watching the film I had a bit of a "I get it" moment seeing Hugh's doing little things I don't I've quite seen him do with his performances as the character before with his expression and delivery of certain lines, the emotional arc in the middle a big superhero storyline, the proud acceptance of the bright yellow suit and position as the X-Man. It felt like he was finally given the chance to play Wolverine as a rounded (but primarily comic-book) character. Not a great but tamed movie-exec version of him.
The update that Ryan uploaded 2 years ago about Deadpool 3 broke the internet for a reason. 2 years later and now Hugh and Ryan star in the highest grossing R-rated movie, within the MCU, of all time. Not a coincidence at all. Thank you Shawn, Ryan, and Hugh for making so many superhero fans happy. It's like No Way Home all over again.
@@ChristianKadeeanytime AMC has a huge movie coming out, you have to go the day before the official release and as soon as the theater opens to buy the merch. I work at my local AMC and it annoys me so much when people constantly call weeks after the release date about the merch
Just came home from the cinema - best movie in a long while (especially Marvel, and after Logan). The whole cinema was laughing most of the movie and I had to even hold back tears more than once... 10/10 - Thank you for the movie everyone involved!
2:50 it’s shows Hugh’s great character when he mentions the interviewers name (Steven) while answering the question and making him feel involved in the conversation
Man seeing Hugh Jackman so genuinely excited to work with Ryan Reynolds is just so heartwarming, glad they went and did this movie together, looks like they had a ton of fun with it, hopefully they can have a second sequel one or at least work together in another marvel movie down the road
Like we say that we cannot see anyone playing Wolverine other than Hugh Jackman and IronMan other than RDJ, I think its safe to say I don't want to see anyone playing Deadpool other than Ryan Reynolds. He was born to play that part, and is as perfectly cast as the other two.
I saw this movie 5 times in theatres..and every time I still reacted and was giddy lol. Its October and I'm still watching videos and smitten with this movie. Phenomenal. Best opening scene in MCU hands down for me. Suck it fox.
I respect an actor that does the work because not only because we the supporting fan but also it just worked to have these two mix it up. Respect always for the supporting actors.
Deadpool movies is that special superheroes movie that you can just enjoy the ride without caring for comic book accuracy/canon /overanalyzing things whatever. You just watch and enjoy it! Ain't that what movies is all about. Good job to everyone involved in making this!
Thank you Hugh & Ryan and Shawn Levy I'm so glad this movie was finally made and everything came together. All the love to everyone involved in making this movie. Thank you ❤
Such a funny scene. I laughed so much watching and it was soooo comedic but serious at the same time 😂 10/10 movie. Super entertaining for a marvel film!
Bye Bye Bye is such an insane pick for a dance number in a Deadpool movie, but hot damn they knocked it out of the park. Such a fun way to start a movie, and a perfect excuse for more people to recognize that Backstreet Boys is an excellent band.
Now that we've had Deadpool and Wolverine team up I would love to see another classic Deadpool team up with Spider-Man. But if Deadpool is in the movie it would have to be rated R and I don't think Disney will ever greenlight an R rated Spider-Man movie.
Not sure if you read the comic. But the reason that comic worked is that it almost reversed the roles. Spider-Man is typically seen as this wisecracking character that makes a lot of quips. In the comic he almost becomes the "Straight man" while Deadpool is the "Comic". You think of something like comedy teams like Abbott and Costello. I don't think it's so much Disney...but rather Sony. Remember that Sony owns the rights to Spider-Man. Disney has the X-men now lock stock and barrel since they bought Fox.
Hugh Jackman’s acting was really good. His range was masterclass. The emotions were believable and could be felt through the screen. His acting performance is Oscar worthy but unfortunately it’s overshadowed by all the noise and nuances of the movie. Him and Ryan would make a good couple in real life though.
I fucking love these guys man . I really hope we get more stuff with him in it together. Some kind of X-Men team up would be fantastic as well. I love how much fun they had doing it.

Nick has the dance healing factor
Also Nicepool was credited as Gordon Reynolds, the fake twin of Ryan Reynolds.
