Respectfully, in my opinion, most computer speakers, or cell phone speakers / headphones don't really deliver the subwoofer experience. I recommend going to a store that has one and ask for a demo. does it have more power than the TS-WX1210A ? i see now it has 40A. and also, is 10 gauge more than enough for this amp? or should i get a 8 gauge?
This is an entirely different product from TS-WX1210A. TS-WX1210AH has a ported enclosure, for more boom. This requires a much stronger woofer suspension and motor assembly. As a result, the overall power draw of the built-in amplifier is higher. 10 gauge cable wired directly from the battery will be fine. Using 8 gauge will not hurt you. Be sure to use a fuse at the vehicle's battery. Want more boom? can this be used in the house with my TV and home theater system?
Is it possible? Yes. Though in practice, it may be difficult. You can't just plug the Pioneer subwoofer into the wall outlet in your house. You'll need a 12 volt power supply to run the Pioneer TS-WX1210AH in your home. The subwoofer amplifier can draw up to 25 amps in normal use. Please consider that draw when hooking it up to a 12 volt power supply. You'll also need a way to switch it on and off with the rest of the home theater system. Combining different products with different voltages and power supplies, can cause background noise in some systems. Want more boom? Why on the pioneer website, its said about this sub 1500W 600W RMS, But in this video you says 600W 300W RMS ?
There are two different specifications on the website. 1 is the speaker power handling capability: 500 watts nominal and 1,500 watts maximum. And 2 is the amplifier output power. 600 watts max and 300 watts RMS. What's better the ts wx1210ah or the Ts wx1210a
It depends on the type of music you like to listen to and what you want for your vehicle. They are two different products designed for two very different applications. The TS-WX1210AH is a slot ported enclosure 12 inch woofer with built-in amplifier. The TS-WX1210A is a sealed enclosure with built-in amplifier. The ported enclosure will deliver more boomy bottom. It's woofer is designed for higher power handling capability because of it's ported enclosure. The sealed enclosure is designed for tighter punchier bass. The sealed enclosure helps to control the motion of the woofer cone. Both work great. Choose the one that will work best for you in your particular application. Could do with some help. Does anyone know what size grub screws fit into the power terminal?
Pioneer weren't any help and I've lost the one that attaches to the power terminal and need a replacement. I've tried measuring it but cant figure out the right size, don't think it's a metric size because m6 and m8 size won't fit and they're the closest
