@@DrewPWebos in terms of power to me it was but I went from stock untuned 2015 to the 18 manifold with a tune. The car drives completely different. It definitely pulls harder up top. I locked out the runners in the manifold and it feels kinda lazy down low but throttle response makes up for it. You will be in a different boat with a supercharger. I’m sure it will be more noticeable boosted than N/A.
Nice job very informative, 🏆 Covered all the small details the other videos left out, would be good to show how the 4 connectors behind Mani unclipped hard to tell where to push to release them doing it solo was a Bit$# .. also don't running E85 require return style fuel system?
Thank you! I tried to be very informative. Those are very hard to take off! I know. No they do not require a new fuel system if you are NA if you have a blower yes you do.
Wait so I have a 2016 GT and I bought a ported 18+ mani, question 1 is you didn’t plug any of the cables in the back? Question 2 is when you installed the lockouts did you cap off the vacuum port in the manifold?
Hey I know this video is a tiny bit old but I’ve seen so many other videos cut and re use some lines, is that not necessary or did I miss a part where you did?
Ive must have seen about 15 or more videos on this. By FARRR this is the best video thus far! Thanks man!
This is the only video that shows how to retain the aspirator with lockouts!
If you have any other questions just let me know!
What's the aspirator?
@@DrewPWebos the aspirator is the 4 way check valve between the intake manifold and the brake booster
@@tobiash082700 thanks bro! 👊 i have a procharged 2016 and getting ready to install the 18 locked out soon. Is this upgrade very noticeable?

No the plugs where for my valves you leave them off when you lock them out. I taped them up for good measure. Yes cap off all unused vacuum ports.
What’s size vacuum plugs did you use?
I can't remember off hand. I got a variety pack at autozone
🙏
If you don’t cap off the two ports on the manifold that were for the IMRC lockouts, will that throw DTC codes?
Not having the imrc plugged in will throw a code.

Hey! Which lines are you exactly talking about? I reused all lines and had to modify the emission system solenoid
What injectors did you swap to?
47 lbs
Wassup I have a 2015 and I just got a 2018 ported do I need the cmcv harness to run it ?
No other harnesses are required just the factory stuff!
Yo I just installed manifold on my 2020 Mustang gt and ima still lost help please
Btw saw what you capped of in the front of manifold and I didn’t tho that
Hey sorry just seeing this! Did you do a ported intake? If so it should be straight forward on a 2020 since it is factory
@@BigUgliesGarage aye bro quick question do you lock out the imrcs on the ported manifold? For a 2019 5.0
