The Colin duffy issue was whether or not he was stuck to the wall in a static position at the start of the climb. I’m not a pro but in my opinion it was pretty shaky the first time but the second attempt seemed fine. This is why you see him hold the start for a second on the final attempt, just to prevent any ambiguity
@@kevinbeteta1737 the second one he definitely had one foot on the first hold and three on the second all static. It is easy to see in slow motion at 0.25x speed. This is if the video hasn't changed from what they are seeing. There are several frames of static though. No one could be 100% static though so I wonder what they consider to count.
What was going on with the judges? Absolutely insane to let him finish twice before calling him out.
Colin Duffy is still climbing that wall today.
Everyone was rooting for Duffy at that point.
