Barber: what you want?
: I'm good with my hands
feelsosedated ITS A GIANT SPIDER
looks like the barber shoved his hand on his head and shaved around it lmao
Say no more
barber: “say no more”
Can you help me out with my techniek? ua-cam.com/video/vu6tm880Ojg/v-deo.html
The entire sequence starting at 3:03 is INSANE. This is one of the strongest climbers the world will ever see.
That handshake at the end would probably crush a normal mans bones.
Not even a very strong climber here, grip strength is my biggest weakness, but I still have to remember when I shake someone's hand to go easy on it. After rolling up or popping a few people's hands I felt bad.
Psuffix climbers don’t necessarily have strong hands. Alex honnold tested his grip strength and his strongest was 98 pounds. He wouldn’t even be able to close a CoC #1 at that level of grip strength. If you think you have a strong grip, buy a set of CoC grippers and prepare to be humbled. If you can close a 2 on video I’ll personally PayPal you 20 bucks. I closed the 2, but I’m not a climber. Just have a good grip.
Psuffix Bullshit buddy. You’re squeezing specifically to hurt people if that happens
@@johnd9357 I have to remind you that Alex Honnold probably couldn't make it into the semi on this competition, he is not a strong climber compare to those peoples in the video, but he is doing well on speed and free solo. Pinch strength is necessary for climbing which requires strong hands.
Allan Zhou yup, comp climbers and boulderers have incredible grip; more than in pretty much any other sport, climbers get insane crimp, pinch and slab strength.
It’s funny that guy mentioned honnald because they did the same test on Megos and he was unreasonably strong.
My hands are sweating just watching this, damn son.
Traitor Red same
same
I'm outbreathing just by watching that 😂🤣
don’t look a giftclimber at their hands
Maybe use chalk😂
3:26 holding your entire bodyweight on a sloper. If you tried it you know just how hard it is, and he makes it look effortless.
He is using a wide pinch but yes its insane ;)
It’s so fucking hard. It seems impossible really
and at that point I had taken a breath of relief that ahh he finally got to the big rock, he can adjust now. Look at his hand after 2 twists on that second small rock.
I'm pretty sure he bribed gravity there...
The time he spent hanging there going in circles, insane.
4:28 ...so are we just not gonna talk about that guy's hair?
Lol
He heard that if your hand is bigger than your head, you have cancer...He had to be sure.
Thank you for this comment
No. Dont ever speak of this again
r/justfuckmyshitup
5:57 What? I am not even a climber and I have NEVER heard someone say this isn't a sport. These guys are some of the greatest athletes in the world!
I'm a climber and I have. A lot.
Jet Funk People can be idiots, sorry.
i have a lot too
and to tell the average person that you rock climb, they would take it as some crazy extreme sport. not really an athletic one.
WeBeChillin420 exactly they're like yeah I'm good at climbing things and I'm like "no" ...
Jet Funk A lot of people have bigger egos than they realize.. maybe if some of them actually experienced real climbing... I think it's pretty dumb not to consider a climber an athlete.
3:03 oh my god
What
THE DIAMOND TV you said that like you could do it...
@@nicholasmercer6397 no but my brother can im just used to it
THE DIAMOND TV oh, lol
THE DIAMOND TV that seems wildly unlikely
I bet this guy can open any tightly sealed jar with so much ease.
or crush the jar unintentionally
The jar just opens itself to prevent any bruises.
Went bouldering for the first time this weekend. This video blew my mind.
Have you gone back since?
2:20 I didn't even realize the top was there, I was all like "Aw, too ba- HOLD ON A SEC WHAT"
And at 3:00 he rotates a couple of times like it was nothing, what a *beast*
5:45 its not fair that Guy got three hands...
Nope he got four hands...
@@floid9624 what?
I'm surprised there isnt an anime for rock climbing
imagine the MC holding his entire weight with 1 hand, just only about to give up then has a flash back about his past then has this sudden bursts of energy then vaults up right to the top
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kokou_no_Hito
There's a manga though. One of the best, actually. Real psychological. Great art.
@@leitmotif6854 Its amazing, I'm reading it atm
Give another year or two
I mean its not about rock climbing but in baki theres this character than could hold his whole body with just the grip of 2 fingers
03:05 can we just speak about how smooth the jump of the man on the right was ?
damn I didnt saw that
that was soo SMOOTH
Yes, yes we can. that dude got to the overhang with so much grace
Only 9 years ago? Fun seeing all the famous climbers looking younger. Like puccio and Noguchi.
Whoever says this isn't a sport is out of their minds... if their willing to call curling a Olympic sporting event... which requires precision but NO athleticism, rock climbing encompasses the very characteristics of the definition of a sport...
Yeah well, now it's in. Except competitors have to take part in lead, boulder and speed... Yes. Speed! I don't know a single climber who takes speed climbing seriously. There certainly aren't any speed climbing walls round my neck of the woods.
This shit looks so fucking hard. Just the finger strength it takes to be good at this shit is insane
Mark Valeriote I've been rock climbing since I was 8, eventually you get to the point where you can hold yourself up on a slanted wall with the tips of your fingers and only one hand... it always feels like defying gravity and it's not painful while you're doing it, but after you get down it hurts a ton.
1:25 Damn!
LOL
I was searching this, thank you)
Alex Puccio
Creep
@@Puleczech I don't think it is Alex though, never seen her with a lip piercing.
daaaaamn daniel! back at it with the white hands.
3:02 is like the climbing version of calculus. What the hell... @.@
I think this is much harder than calculus
I'm taking calculus right now you piece of shit how dare you say that
Christian Davis bouldering world cups have those kind of things all the time now.
@@chillingintheshade5725 lol I've taken many calculus classes and I climb. I can confirm climbing is more difficult
Jill Sanders baby you’re sexy but you know nothing, and it shows.
I have huge respect for him. Just started bouldern a couple weeks ago and I'm already addicted!
the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd pedestals should be a small rock you have to climb up
XD
Imagine winning first place and you can't climb the podium
Incredible to see how bouldering world cup has changed in just a few years, from a couple of slopers and crimps holds on a wooden wall, to nowadays beautiful and enormous volumes, with livestreaming and brushing assistants
Oh my God! The strength and abilities the climbers have is sooooooooo impressive!
How could anyone not call this a legitimate sport? Absolutely amazing.
"In my view, it is a competitive sport. That's why there are competitions." -Daniel Woods.
Blue is blue because it is blue
Such an OG video, love coming back to it every once in a while
The routesetting there was superb
From a guy who can't even do one pull-up (girly style), this absolutely blows my mind! The strength and precision required is awe inspiring.
Pneuman32 i mean i climb 5.9+ which is hard but i still can’t do a pull up and on top of that i am only 4’ 11” so it’s not all strength or reach a lot of it i mean like 50% of it is technique
Whats a girly pull up?
Shish Kebab He probably means a chin up. Which simply works different muscle groups (especially your biceps) as a totally separate exercise from a pull-up. Idk what he means by “girly style.”
are we just gonna talk about this getting in everyone's recommendations instead of that haircut at 4:28
there are already a whole lotta comments about both those things, how about you think of something different
Daniel Woods, Paul Robinson, Alex Puccio, Sean McColl, Jerney Kruder, Akiyo Noguchi and probably many more famous names. So cool to recognize so many climbers from 9 years ago, many if not all of them are on top of their game today!
This has to be the most powerful climbing I’ve ever seen
Never watched such an old competition but damn, you don't see triplo paddle dynos and everything doesn't look so clean and polished
I've gotta hand it to the guy with the unique haircut.
Comment perfection
UA-cam recommendations be like
2012: nope
2013: nah
2014: uh uh
2015: huh
2016: ya nah
2017: no
2018: still no
2019: ...PERFECT
Why are my palms sweaty after watching this?
If this isn't a sport, I don't know what would possibly qualify as one! It requires great strength, stamina, precision, spatial awareness and just pure practiced skill to be able to climb like this.
Wtf, he squeezed the juice out of those rocks
dead
Daniel was just at my gym today!!!!
Daniel is a beast! I am in awe
Sport climbing is making it's Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020! It's 8 years later , but it's finally happening. Your sport is truly reaching new heights.
I really wish I hadn't grown up in the south where the only sport is football.
Lottadd thebot well football is lit so yeah and there is hot girls
Lottadd thebot there’s not a awful lot of climbing anywhere in America compared to in Europe. But, I’ve heard that there are climbing gyms everywhere.
3:31 the girl in the right looks like she got kicked off
😂😂😂 good eye
Hahahaha so true
At 3:00 is the best comp problem I've ever seen.. Hail to the builder!
my hands and feet are tingling just watching this
1:25 fell in love :-p
her name is alex puccio i think
@@splacl6102 Alex never had a lip piercing, or am I wrong?
These people are superhuman
Naw. They're only human. Kill your heroes, so-to-speak, and you'll find what they do is also attainable for you.
Realllly good to see my old school heros like sean mcall!daniel woods, Anna stohor!!
i love this video
I refuse to believe a human can have this kind of grip strength and complete absence of sweat
Started rock climbing 2 weeks a go
I keep getting outclassed by 9 year olds😂
Seriously tough sport
Same here, hahaha I love it though. This sport is so overwhelming that I can just watch the 9 year olds all day climb a wall. Keep at it we will get stronger! Good luck!
@@gaururahirkar I will do. Think I have found a new passion.
I am amazed by how talented the best rock climbers are and the kids at my climbing wall who outshine me sometimes stop me in my tracks.
Thanks man, it was driving me wild!
My palms are sweating from watching this.
So much lactic acid probably builds up in the minute or so they climb. It’s incredible!
I would love to see more of this type of route setting in the current world cup circuit, although it probably favor certain athletes. These dynamic problems are really exciting!
Such a beautiful and healthy sport! It should receive more exposure!
Immediately shakes his competitors hands when he stepped up on the podium. World class in every aspect
My hands were sweating just watching him climb
What he does at 3:03, I don't even know how he does that. That's amazing!
Its not that hard
That was mind blowing.
My hands are hurting just watching this...
Imagine wanting to date his daughter and having to shake his hand that grip strength does more than any speech
Bouldering World Cup: *Exists*
Gravity: *"Am I a joke to you?"*
How tf can people say that this isn't a sport. This is totally a sport and it takes incredible physical ability.
I got this in my recommended for seven years now
This is definitely a sport, these people are super humans.
No they are not.
@@Empika its really about weight.. muscle is denser than fat. so the more you have the more weight your lifting..
if they were moving things, that would require strength. but they are only moving themselves, tone yes, but balanced.
edited to point out they are scrawny versus someone who has the strength to move or lift something
Oh, so that's why we'll see it at the olympics
Just an awesome video
This style of routesetting looks so much better than todays.
The opening song is: Mezzo by Little People
why did i get this recommended in November 2019....... yt pleas....
My hands are sweaty & my elbows are hurting just watching this!
geez.. Daniel has some crazy strength in those hands and upper body. amazing
I just tried bouldering for the first time. It was super fun and felt like great exercise but it was also really hard and made my whole body ache. I couldn’t shake hands with someone due to how hurt my hands were xD
4:28
You need help there?
Nah man, I got an extra hand
Would not think this is doable... amazing
UA-cam 2012-2018: Nah not yet..
UA-cam 2019: Hey! Watch this video! It's great!
03:04 That move tho dude you are so f*** cool :-):-):-)
The girl at 1:27 Wow
+CE FR I know, those lats bro
Ch Santos I like to call hard core power moves (puccico power)
Ch Santo
Alex Puccio. You're welcome
She's built as well, could do 20+ push ups at least.
Great going Daniel woods✌👊😎
I started climbing about a year ago. All I’ve wanted since is too just keep getting stronger and stronger. Seeing Daniel woods use his pure strength to rampage through the routes was just fucking awesome and I’m ready to climb now! woohoo #juiced
1:25 oh wow
Damn, Daniel.
Wesley Turner finally
Anyone who says this isn't a sport has never tried it, or they have and they were horrible at it. Simply amazing what these climbers are capable of.
I think this kind of setting is way cooler and way more impressive to watch than rn, this is like watching people moonboard lmao
3:23 omg, that is some kung-fu grip.
4:10 that was qualifiers?!!!
My hands got so sweaty just watching this.
That first Mens 4 looked absolutely brutal.
all the climbing talent in the world and he's still going to have an existential crisis when he realizes where his hairline is going ;(
+batwingedloony what's wrong with his hair? i think it looks long and thick?
Didgeridoo hes gonna get old soon
I climb v16 I'm 5
lol, switch those numbers and it would still be mildly impressive
I’ve been training for almost a year and I can’t even finish a v4 and I’m 19
Oof fuck that post was made like a month ago
kaden richards nah i respect that
I started 1 month ago and I do every v4 in my gym. I did 1 v5
I cannot fathom how the hell they even hold on to these things , god damn it man.
Damn Daniel!
That was pretty insane but it was so slow I watched it at 1.5 speed to not get bored.
jeffries848 Don't get me wrong, I understand that what he does probably takes insane amounts of strength/dedication, and it's not like I skipped ahead, I just made the vid a little bit faster.
Your attention spam must be minuscule.
This literally looks impossible they are pinching rocks and supporting there whole body weight.
Thats exactly what they are doing. Incredible hand and body strength and control
The looks on all their faces after the 4:00 mark.. The whole moment was really rad.
Man this guy is a Monster
i climb 8b i'm 7
Good for you
But maybe don't mention your age online
Fake. If you zoom in you can see the strings.
Doug Stanfield
Hahahhh yeah rt
downbntout r/woooosh
Tommy Gunn
Whatever that means
WTF am I watching?! This is unbelievably impressive
Climbing is the best sport, winning doesn't repy upon the defeat of an opponent
