Sir am not understanding ur language (some places, because am in srilankan)but ur teaching skill and explanation is very superb, excellent. That’s easy to understand by my self. thanks for ur detailed explanation
Dear Manjunath D, if ground absorb more water ( means more infiltration), then runoff is less. If there is rocky strata in the basin / any area, then all the precipitated water flows on Surface---> RO is more, thats it, simple naaa...!
Intial absorption are sum of canopy storage and surface depression storage because this rainfall quanitty will be static state during the rain event and later it evaporates..practically if i can say the rain drops accumulated on plant leafs and tree trunk( for canopy loss) and water accumulated on small surface dipression(for surface depression loss)
Dear Sunitha, think from the Evaporation point, if evaporation nill because of thick forest, then that amount wl be added to normal Runoff, so RO wl be more... Simple naa...!
Tq sir
Useful and i have got this question question in my Semister examination
Sir super explaination tqsm 👌

Thanks You Sir 🤩
super
Absorption is directly proportional to Runoff it's correct or say ur explination

Sir in vegetation the trees will be more then they will absorb the water then how runoff will be more?
Vegetation act as barrier to runoff. So runoff would be low
