You should definitely ask the owner what she prefers. Having access to the paddock could be a safety issue for the kids. Maybe leaving the brambles there could be wise. The cave seems to be a kind of playhouse. To restore it could be fun.
Haha, I did ask her, and she couldn't decide either 😅 if I had more time it wouldn't be a problem. I'm sure when I'm done doing what I can that she will be taking over. We'll be going into winter soon, so at least she'll be fit and ready to tackle the garden by the time it starts growing again. 👍

Haha, I do have my own little slice of garden. Although mine is almost totally designed around the kids 😂 I did a little video a long while ago if you ever get curious ua-cam.com/video/i4TIRmrMjBA/v-deo.html I like to think my videos have improved in quality since then 😂 but I'll let you be the judge of that one.
Out of all the videos I have watched from US, Tasmania & here you are the only gardener I have seen use one of my favourite tools, a garden hoe. Such a nice job for this young woman you are helping her no end. I cannot make up my mind which to choose paddock or cave. Paddock would be my favourite as horses special to me but cave may keep children more safely engaged for now. Difficult to keep eye to curious kiddies in paddocks. If not kept up could have some inhabitants that are not diddy friendly too. 💚😊
I will probable be back in this garden in the spring, so its more than likely a few more things will be cut back 🤞the weather has turned really wet here, so it'll have to wait. But I think your right, there will be some more alterations....I hope 😁
I think the”cave” may have been either a potting shed, chicken coop or rabbit hutch. I also would do it first to have this portion of the yard finished. What a mess this was, good job. I’m in Central Illinois, USA
Greetings from Nottingham, Illinois ❤️☺️ thanks for the comment and vote. Thanks also for the compliment, it's appreciated. Lots of people are saying similar to you about it being a chicken coop or rabbit hutch, I must admit, I hadn't even considered those things. I must have a distinct lack of imagination 😂
We think you should finish inside the fence before working outside of it. But you do great work, so go about it your way! 😊 Please keep it up! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Martin! I'm new to your channel and I have to say I'm really impressed by your work! I'd like to see the CAVE in the next part. As a mom myself, I really appreciate the time and effort you put to help this new mom! Much love from Greece!
Oh, thanks so much, truly appreciated 😊 It is intriguing isn't it, what could be underneath all those vines? It'd make a really cool kids den. I know mine would love it, although my two would probably escape into the paddocks and try to ride the horses away 🤣 Thanks again for the comment, and I hope you enjoy the videos. Comments like this mean a lot ❤️☺️ Martin
Мартин вы делаете большую работу... вы молодец! Но я хочу посоветовать вам посмотреть видео с Джорджем из Австралии Тасмании... Он просто шикарно убирает все участки .... Удачи вам 💥
You did such a super job on this! I love your attention to detail. i am sure that the new mom really appreciated it. Watching from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
Greeting Pittsburgh, from Nottingham ❤️ Thank you for the comment, its amazing to hear from someone so far away 😊 The lady was happy, been a little delay with her moving in. Which is good because in all likelihood I'm probably going to have to make more visits, this one almost beat me! 😂 All the best Martin.
I’m voting for the Cave. Who does the land beyond the gate belong to? If it is the farm, maybe if they were approached they may have large equipment that could mow down the brambles?
Hello, and greetings from Nottingham. I did try and find out who owned the land, but without any luck. The other neighbors have been maintaining the land behind their individual gardens. And have done so for decades. I like the idea of asking a farmer for help as they have really big kit that could handle this sort of work 👍 Although up to now, no one seems to have noticed it 🤣 and it looks like it's also been used as a dumping ground. It'll be fun 😅 Thanks again Martin
Well damn. I'll happily watch two videos of this man's hard work, but damn it is so hard to motivate myself to get back in the fight and tackle my own overgrown situation (similar to this ladies, bought a house with a garden that had been completely neglected for basically 2 decades) as I make so little progress in comparison. It's a bloody war. Reached the point I just want to concrete the entire garden.
Haha, that's what I thought. It certainly resembles a hobbit house.....just without the round door 🤣 Thanks for the vote also, is great letting other people decide. Especially as I can't 😅 it's too tough.
If you got sponsorship , to help pay for your garden equipment You are the best gardener on UA-cam👏👏. You have opened I up this garden sun & fresh air to make it breath again
Unfortunately, there is no sponsorship at the moment 😥 Maybe one day. It'd certainly be handy, I do like testing out new kit and putting it through its paces. I'm like a little boy at Christmas when I get new tools! 🤣 Although just recently, I've been trying to use hand tools more and getting back to traditional gardening. The mind is willing, but the body struggles 😁 Thanks for the compliment Truly appreciated 🙏 💓
Hey Bill 👋 thanks mate. Yeah, I did ask but she couldn't decide either. That why I came up with the idea of a vote, but it's virtually neck and neck....I bet I end up doing both and just working a faster and longer day 😁
great job, Martin. Clearing to the paddocks seems more a task for town services, or from the owner of the paddocks. Creating a safe garden for the mum and child seems to make more sense. Would love to see how everything looks after 2-3 months as well.
Hi mate, thanks for the comment. If only the council would help, but they wouldn't. And I don't think the land owners care as this part is more than likely common land. I'm sure, maybe next year I'll be back when she's settled in. There's some hard landscaping to do with the patio and wall repairs. So maybe another video at some point 🤔😁🤞
You're right! 😂 I don't even know I'm doing it sometimes. It's a habit I picked up years ago to save space in compost heaps and waste bins. Tis a very good hand workout, though 😊
What other tasks. Hauling those containers to the curb to empty . Carrying it back. 6 of one, half dozen of the other. You do what works for you. He's doing what works for him.
Great job Martin. My vote is for the Paddock, so long as you get a brush cutter or a friend to help! This will prevent it from coming back into the yard and the neighbours. With a friend you might get the Cave done as well! Keep up the good deeds 😊.
Next summer, the baby will be a toddler. I vote for the cave, to get the garden as safe and useable as poss 😊 But I'll watch whatever you do! 😁 Fabulous transformation 👏
First time viewer so have not seen Part One. Thanks for helping this new mother with a small baby get this garden in shape. You're doing a fine job. I would vote for clearing a way to the paddock as it is a nice view from the enclosed garden. However, the mother should have a say.
Hello, thanks for the comment. I did actually ask her, and she couldn't decide either 😊 so I put it up for public vote 😅 Thanks again, I appreciate the kind message. 🙏 Martin
I don't know the ages of the children but I think that would make the difference in your decision. You've done so much work already & I sincerely wish that you had enough time to do both! Love your channel - it's such a treat to watch a true gardener at work & the result!
I vote for The cave, I'm curious what it is. It reminds me of the grape arbor we had when i was growing up, and the Columbus Day storm blew it down in 1962 in Portland, Oregon
Greetings Oregon 😊 great to hear from you. I'm in Nottingham, England. I'm curious as well. Viewers have given me a few ideas of what it is. But we'll never know until I get stuck in 😅👍 Either way, it's going to be quite cool. A great relaxing zone in the garden and fun for kids. Thanks for the comment All the best Martin
haha, I couldn't make my mind up either. Neither could the owner. I bet I end up doing both! 😂 that is if it ever stops raining long enough for me to finish off🤞 Thank you for the kind comment😊 All the best Martin.
A very logical choice, I like it 😊 it does look very nice on the other side. Apparently, there is also a footpath. Although admittedly, I kinda want to do both, if only I had the time. Thanks for the vote 👍 hope you enjoyed the video. Martin.
The little structure looks like an arbor … I can imagine when the garden was beautiful and full of flowers, sitting under there with a book and a cup of tea! It could look lovely cleared and painted … what fun!
Oh, you're so right. One viewer suggested getting a Winnie the pooh sign for the arbor. 100 acre wood 😂 that would look very fitting. I'm glad you could see the past of this garden, I hope it's been finished off nicely after I did the clearance. It was pretty much a blank slate when I left it 🤞 Thanks for the comment Martin.
I think this garden was once much loved . Trellis-pots- maybe a arbour? Person before may have been elderly and became unwell and couldn’t look after it anymore. Could be a lovely garden.
Oh yes, I'm glad you can see it too. There were loads of things here that I found when clearing. Bird feeders, bug hotels, lots of plants, benches. It certainly would have been a lovely garden in the past. And hopefully, it will be again 🙏 🤞 Thanks Martin
As all those bushes have sharp edges I suggest removing all the vegetation in the yard so the kids don't get hurt if/when they fall into them. She can always plant later on as the kids get older. Keep the back gate closed with the brambles for safety reasons should the kids get out. You did an amazing amount of manual labor with your tools breaking down. Can't wait to see the finished video.
Thanks for the comment, hopefully part 3 wont be too much longer. The weather has been consistently wet since I filmed part 2. Fingers crossed I will get to finish it soon. Thanks again, and much appreciate the great ideas 👍😊 Martin.
Quel travail titanesque.
Oh yes, this one was a tough job 🤣 I still have nightmares even now 😁 I agree, the original creator of the garden must have loved it. It probably looked amazing in its day. Thank you for the comment. It is very much appreciated. Martin.
Hi Martin, just found your channel, watched both videos. That was a crazy backyard, I'm impressed how you transformed it. Great job, greetings from Queens NY.
Greetings from Nottingham, UK. Hope you liked the videos ☺️ thanks for the comment. Really appreciate it 🙏 Yeah, for such a little garden, it's been a total nightmare 🤣
Thank you for the vote 👍 it seems neck and neck at the moment. Which is why I put it out for a vote, I couldn't decide, and neither could the mum 🤣 Bet I end up doing both 😅 its gonna be a long old day if I do. Thanks again Martin
Just clear this area. Small children will have plenty safe space Also if she’s renting , makes no sense to do such hard work for landlord😢. You do fantastic work. Well done👏👏
Thanks again 👍😊 It's looking a bit better now, and after a little tidy up, it'll be fine to play in for the little one. You're right. Part 3 will reveal all 👍🤣 when I finally do it. 😊❤️
To be fair, I was thinking of some type of pergola or gazebo may have been there in the past. But not sure I'll even know until I get stuck in there 😂 maybe I'll check out Google Earth and take a look 😁
Haha, a few people have said, "Ask her"....which of course I already did 😅 but she couldn't decide either. And I want to do both, but I don't have the time. A vote seemd like quite a good idea, I'm using people like a Magic 8 Ball to decide for me 🤣 Thanks so much for the comment 😊 Much appreciated. Martin
Paddock is huge and unless she knows someone with a herd of goats or a small flock of sheep that would bring them through to "mow" it down whilst the herder stayed to watch over them unless fencing is sturdy and no predators. Oh my, just sounds like a lot of bother (apologies to a.a.milne's Winnie the Pooh or was it Eeore?). But, nothing ventured...🙂
Thank you 😊 so far, so good 👍 Hopefully, I'll be back in this garden again this year. It was a tough old job 😅 Thank you for the comment. I really appreciate it. Martin.
Thank you, I've got some beautiful gardens lined up to do over the next week or two. I'm excellent 😊😅 the weather is changing for the better. Full garden speed ahead! 😁
Oh wow, I'll admit that I had to "google" Lexington. What a beautiful part of the world you live in ❤️ its going on my travel list 🙂 Thanks for the comment and vote, it's wonderful to hear from someone so far away. All the best Martin
Thank you 😊 I actually take quite a bit of pride in not using big heavy equipment. I also have a terrible habit or making a job as difficult as possible 😂 I'm a glutton for punishment. I have a idea for my next garden clearance, I am going to use only hand tools and zero power tools 😅 hopefully it'll make good viewing. Thanks so much for your kind comment, much appreciated. Martin.
Oh, thank you 😊 I really like that you like them 😅 I really appreciate your comment. Hopefully, there will be a few more quite interesting videos coming before Christmas 🤞 Thanks again Martin
what a great job you did ! ok I am greedy both paddock and cave. The paddock really needs it and we all need to know what that hut/ cave started out as :D
🤣 most perfect vote ever Mary 👍 😂 this made me smile, so thank you very much ☺️ I think you're right though, if only I had more time. Or maybe work quicker 🤔
What a job you took on. As the children are littles, I’d go with the cave. When they’re older they can add a viewing step so they can look at the paddocks. New subscriber - originally from Surrey but immigrated to So California many many years ago
Well hello Surrey 😊 what a great move that was to California. Can I be bold and ask whether you still think you made the right choice? 😇 I bet it's a yes 😁 Thank you so much for the comment, I hope you liked the video, and thanks for the vote too. Much appreciated 🙏 Martin
@@martinthegardenguy it was my Dads dream to move here. Aging myself but we immigrated in 1965 and sailed over on the Queen Mary (now near me) My parents had a great time and retired to Arizona. dad passed 20 years ago and my mom met someone online. She got remarried at 80 to a retired Air Force Colonel! And she lives in Texas! I finally took my US citizenship oath 3 years ago - figured I wasn’t going anywhere! Roots are still strong back home though - always.
Paddock the lady can put a padlock on her gate and next year she can get in garden and potter about. You’ve done a great job hopefully see how you get on with whatever you do next there.❤Wiltshire
I hope that's a good wow, and not a bad one! 🤣 If it's the former, then thank you very much ☺️ for such a small garden, it's been a rather large pain in the bum! 😂
Great job, like many others say, leave the brambles, they are a good safety barrier for a woman and kids on their own and the cave would be a lovely addition to the garden. brambles could always be thinned out later when kids are older...😊👍🇬🇧
Thank you, very kind of you. I thought the same about the brambles originally, but there is a lovely woodland footpath beyond and the area is safe. All the neighbours seem to have gate access to the path also. She could always invest in a padlock when the gate is fixed 👍😅
I want to say two things. If the cave was a chicken hut, it could have germs in the soil so may not be safe for little ones. Chickens carry salmonella. Secondly, I love how you show that using a saw can help with pulling up roots! I do it all the time, and people are surprised at how much easier it is! We have a lot of volunteer mulberry or walnut trees here, and they can get long roots overnight it seems! So many people will dig and dig and pull and pull, when a saw works really well!
Oh thanks 😊 nice to meet a fellow gardener who likes making work a bit easier 😁 yeah I find the saw works a treat. I've stripped the skin off my hands before (I don't usually wear gloves) pulling up saplings. As you say, they can get deep roots very quickly. I find it funny that you have the same problems but with different trees. Around here it's Sycamore that seem to pop up everywhere. Judging by the garden, it's been abandoned for years and years. So any pathogen or virus should be long gone. They don't like being outside like I do 😁 and need a host. So everyone should be safe.....these brambles on the other hand 🤯
@@martinthegardenguy I don't like to wear gloves either. My hands get hot. I have also found that using a pair of pliers to pull small saplings helps. It prevents the bark from slipping off, leaving a slippery sapling behind that is impossible to pull. I keep a pair in my back pocket when out in the yard. I also like the fact that you often sit to pull weeds. I do that a lot, and it is nice to see others, too. Squirrels plant the walnuts that pop up in to trees. I don't have a walnut tree on my property, nor does anyone else close by. But I am always pulling them. There was a mulberry on my place when I bought it, 22 years ago. Birds seed the mulberries in their poop, so they spread far and wide. They often pop up in the middle of a shrub, where birds have taken shelter! Those are really frustrating to deal with.
Haha, we seem quite similar in our gardening habits 😊 the same reason I don't generally wear gloves. Hot sweaty hands, and this always leads to blisters as my hands can't breathe. It still surprises me even now l, how easily trees germinate. Seems like 100% success rate, and I never get that from a pack of veg seeds 😆 Well, I hope you enjoy gardening as much as I do regardless. It's tough work but nothing is more rewarding. And I'm sure the health benefits are enormous. I love the idea of using pliers to grasp the stem, you mite be on to something there 👍🤔 All the best Martin
Wow! What an undertaking. I kept thinking about the old saying, "Bringing a knife to a gunfight". You certainly maxed the function of your equipment - and alone! Anxious to see the final product - I really like the 'little house/shed' and am very curious about the 'paddock'. I hope your friend appreciates all you are doing on this project and it will result in extra income for you, once folks see what you can accomplish! I'm from Iowa, USA - interestingly I'm a Master Gardener
Haha, yes indeed 😂 That's how most of my gardening is. I've actually got a garage full of really heavy-duty power tools. But I think I just like making life difficult for myself 😅 I sometimes think I like gardening so much that I don't always do everything the fastest and easiest way. I'm actually a big fan of manual tools as well, so try and use them as much as possible. It certainly keeps me fitter than if I used petrol tools all of the time. The funny thing is, when I was younger and considerably fitter, I used to use maximum power tools all the time! 😂 Anyway, greetings, Iowa 😊👍 All the way from Nottingham. An experienced amateur such as myself will always welcome any advice from a master gardener 👍
Oh hi, nice to hear from you again. Yeah there is going to be a part 3 and maybe even part 4 😂 this has been a tough one. The next visit will be either clearing the brambles to allow access to the paddocks or seeing what I can find in that strange organic cave type thing 😅 it just depends how the votes go 👍
I've only just found your channel you are great,You have worked so hard on this property well done .

It was pretty much a blank slate when I left it 🤞
Thanks for the comment
Martin.
Absolutely brilliant - well done!
Continued wonderful transformation. I hope they will include pressure washing of the fence and walk way stones.
I hope so too, it certainly needs it. Most of the slabs could do with relaying as well. They were quite wobbly 🤣
I almost fell over quite a few times.
What a transformation!
Just subscribed. Loving the video. My vote is for the paddock.
Oh thank you 😊 I really appreciate the compliment. Vote has gone in the virtual ballot box 😅
They looks very good transformetion ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙏🏻
Thank you 👍 😊 super kind of you to say.
I really appreciate that you actually pull them out if possible! Great work.
Cheers 👍it takes a bit more time I suppose, but the result seems to last longer 😁and I get a better work out, win win 😂
Thanks for the comment
Martin.
And hopefully, it will be again 🙏 🤞
Thanks
Martin
Both love watching you
Awesome ❤❤
Wow looks super nice.
Thank you, very kind of you to say. ❤️
Thanks again, and much appreciate the great ideas 👍😊
Martin.
Loved part 2, can't wait for part 3. I'm waiting for the structure in the corner to be revealed.
bravo très beau
Quel travail titanesque.
Oh yes, this one was a tough job 🤣 I still have nightmares even now 😁
I agree, the original creator of the garden must have loved it.
Really appreciate it 🙏
Yeah, for such a little garden, it's been a total nightmare 🤣
fantastic work, attention to detail too,
As always, you're very kind.
And as always, it's appreciated ☺️
Thank you.
What an odd space! But it has charm and youve done a great job!
Looks great!!! I vote for the cave
Thank you for the vote 👍 it seems neck and neck at the moment.
Which is why I put it out for a vote, I couldn't decide, and neither could the mum 🤣
Bet I end up doing both 😅 its gonna be a long old day if I do.
Thanks again
Martin
Thanks!
I don't know how I missed this, a very belated thank you from me to you.
It is very much appreciated.
All the best
Martin.
Well done!
Paddock. 😊
Amazing work, sir. ❤
Why thank you 😊 very kind of you.
Thanks for the vote to 🤞
All the best
Martin
Just clear this area. Small children will have plenty safe space
Also if she’s renting , makes no sense to do such hard work for landlord😢. You do fantastic work. Well done👏👏
Thanks again 👍😊
It's looking a bit better now, and after a little tidy up, it'll be fine to play in for the little one. You're right.
Part 3 will reveal all 👍🤣 when I finally do it.
😊❤️
Cave looks like a gasebo originally with shrubs growing over the top of it,many years neglect and they have filled that corner space entirely !
To be fair, I was thinking of some type of pergola or gazebo may have been there in the past. But not sure I'll even know until I get stuck in there 😂 maybe I'll check out Google Earth and take a look 😁
My curiosity is peaked by the cave but my practicality is peaked by the paddock. Frankly, if she is a single mom, then the cave . OR ask her.🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
Haha, a few people have said, "Ask her"....which of course I already did 😅 but she couldn't decide either. And I want to do both, but I don't have the time.
A vote seemd like quite a good idea, I'm using people like a Magic 8 Ball to decide for me 🤣
Thanks so much for the comment 😊 Much appreciated.
Good work , well done. Has to be the cave as easy access to the paddock works both ways. Safer for ma and child. 👍
Thanks 😊 it's still a work in progress, but I'm happy there is progress 🤣
Thanks for the comment/vote 👍
Much appreciated
Martin
Great job, love what you’ve done 😊
Thank you 😊 so far, so good 👍
Hopefully, I'll be back in this garden again this year. It was a tough old job 😅
Thank you for the comment.
I really appreciate it.
Martin.
This is a huge job unto itself ! Vood work !
Indeed, it's was a big job. For such a small garden, it didn't half kick my bum.
I got there in the end, though 👍😁
Thanks.
Epic work.
Thank you 👍 😊 🙏
Amazing!
Thank you 😊 🙏
You did such a great job on this❤
Thank you 😊 🙏 I'm glad you think so.
I hope you enjoyed it, it's was a fun little job this one was 😅
All the best
Martin.
Well of course I’d like to see you do both but I’ll vote for the structure
Keeps on getting better and better. Lots of work though.
Thank you, I've got some beautiful gardens lined up to do over the next week or two. I'm excellent 😊😅 the weather is changing for the better.
Full garden speed ahead! 😁
I hope you chose cave. Im off to watch the 3rd episode next. Watching from Hobart, Tasmania.
Perfect! Amazing Excellent Impress❤😮
Hi Martin that was a nice 👌 job of this garden you did David 🇬🇧❤️👍🪴
Hello again, David 👍thank ls for the comment. The compliment is truly appreciated.
Martin
Definitely the Cave what an Awesome job 👍
Thanks 😊 it's certainly getting there 🤣 I hope someone looks after it when I'm done.
Cheers for voting. It seems neck and neck at the moment 🫣
I say access to the paddock! Nothing like more room to run! Cheers from Lexington, KY!! The Bluegrass State💙💚
Oh wow, I'll admit that I had to "google" Lexington. What a beautiful part of the world you live in ❤️ its going on my travel list 🙂
Thanks for the comment and vote, it's wonderful to hear from someone so far away.
All the best
Martin
Eine Meisterleistung,super
Thank you kindly 🙏 ☺️
You’ve done a great job with little equipment, I vote focus on finishing the back yard 😊
Martin.
Excellent work!!
first time to your channel, NICE Work Cave and Hello from the USA
Hello right back at you, from Nottingham 😊❤️ hope you enjoyed the video.
You're vote has gone in the ballot 😁
Great work! Voting for the cave!
Thank you 😊 and thanks for the vote also. It still seems neck and neck 😅
Good job like your videos.
Oh, thank you 😊 I really like that you like them 😅
I really appreciate your comment.
Hopefully, there will be a few more quite interesting videos coming before Christmas 🤞
Thanks again
Martin
Impresionante trabajo 👍👍👍!!!!!
Thanks very much 😊 👍
You're a diamond
Martin.
Amazing job. Maybe mention it to the Mum and see which one she'd like best is my thoughts. ❤
Hi, thanks for the comment. I'd mentioned it to her, but she's sat on the fence about it. No pun intended 😁
More videos, please!👍👍👍
😁 more on the way ❤️
Got plenty lined up for later winter and spring 👍
what a great job you did ! ok I am greedy both paddock and cave. The paddock really needs it and we all need to know what that hut/ cave started out as :D
🤣 most perfect vote ever Mary 👍 😂 this made me smile, so thank you very much ☺️
I think you're right though, if only I had more time.
😇 I bet it's a yes 😁
Thank you so much for the comment, I hope you liked the video, and thanks for the vote too. Much appreciated 🙏
Martin
@@martinthegardenguy it was my Dads dream to move here. Aging myself but we immigrated in 1965 and sailed over on the Queen Mary (now near me) My parents had a great time and retired to Arizona. dad passed 20 years ago and my mom met someone online. She got remarried at 80 to a retired Air Force Colonel! And she lives in Texas! I finally took my US citizenship oath 3 years ago - figured I wasn’t going anywhere! Roots are still strong back home though - always.
Great job martin I think the paddock
Thanks very much, hope you enjoyed the video. Thanks also for voting 😅 hope you'll like day 3 regardless of which bit ends up getting done 🤞
Good video.
Great job thanks
Thank you, also 😊
Much appreciated.
Martin.
Amazing 🎉
Wowww Amazing transformation, Congratulations 👏👏 Great job. Blessings to you and your family stay safe and well 😊
Thank you so much 🥰 and the same to you. I appreciate the kindness 🙏 😊
All the best
Martin.
Paddock the lady can put a padlock on her gate and next year she can get in garden and potter about. You’ve done a great job hopefully see how you get on with whatever you do next there.❤Wiltshire
Oh, that's quite a good plan 👍 very sensible 👌
Thanks for the idea, much appreciated.
Martin.
Great job🎉
Thank you 😊 🙏
Wow....just wow❤
I hope that's a good wow, and not a bad one! 🤣
If it's the former, then thank you very much ☺️ for such a small garden, it's been a rather large pain in the bum! 😂
@@martinthegardenguy it's for sure a good awesome wonderful wow😉👍
In which case, an even bigger super thanks you ☺️😁
Great job, like many others say, leave the brambles, they are a good safety barrier for a woman and kids on their own and the cave would be a lovely addition to the garden. brambles could always be thinned out later when kids are older...😊👍🇬🇧
Thank you, very kind of you. I thought the same about the brambles originally, but there is a lovely woodland footpath beyond and the area is safe. All the neighbours seem to have gate access to the path also.
She could always invest in a padlock when the gate is fixed 👍😅
Good Job
Thank you 😊
Martin.
The salmonella would die and not be in the soil any longer in a year or so. That looks like its been overgrown for much longer than that.
Seems like 100% success rate, and I never get that from a pack of veg seeds 😆
Well, I hope you enjoy gardening as much as I do regardless. It's tough work but nothing is more rewarding. And I'm sure the health benefits are enormous.
I love the idea of using pliers to grasp the stem, you mite be on to something there 👍🤔
All the best
Martin
Anyway, greetings, Iowa 😊👍 All the way from Nottingham. An experienced amateur such as myself will always welcome any advice from a master gardener 👍
Love your work 😊
Why thank you very much 😊
That's a very kind thing to say.
Martin.
Helllo Martin, just found your channel. Fantastic job you did. Please take care
Hello, thank you for the comment ❤️ always appreciated. I hope you like the channel, it's a work in progress ☺️👍
It is just great
Wonderful transformation. Thank you ❤
Thank you 😊 very kind to say so ❤️
Wow huge clear out! Is there going to be a part 3?
Oh hi, nice to hear from you again. Yeah there is going to be a part 3 and maybe even part 4 😂 this has been a tough one.
The next visit will be either clearing the brambles to allow access to the paddocks or seeing what I can find in that strange organic cave type thing 😅 it just depends how the votes go 👍
Oh defo the CAVE 😮😊
Certainly a grafter, great job.
Cheers mate, much appreciated. 👍😅
pick what will keep the garden easier to handle in the future. i think all the brambles needs to go on both sides of the fence.
There's definitely no easy choice 🤣 both are going to be a nightmare 😁 but I get what you're saying 👍❤️
Такая работа😱😱😱😱😱❤ Столько труда.
Nice work. Its going to look fantastic once the grass grows.
Thanks 😊 I agree. A nice green lawn will look really nice and hopefully keep the brambles at bay 🤞
