Just started using a GoPro hero 7 Black I'm very pleased with it ....took a while to get all the settings sorted with my laptop but it's all good to go for the next review hopefully in 60 fps too !! All the best mark
mark pulling nice, the hero 7 is a great camera. I was looking at the hero 8 just because you can get that media mod thing for the mic to plug into without using the adapter, but the 7 is so much cheaper which will make my wife happy ha ha. Looking forward to the new 60fps footage 👍🏻
@@Dan_B_Rides yes I've finally bought a laptop that can handle 60 fps with ease ....away for a few days next week so should be doing another Honda week after next :)
I can't seem to get mine working with my hero 8. I have all the adapters and the right settings and everything works using my headphones as a mic but get nothing with the purple panda. Possible I just got a dud?
@@Beeds5 yes I thought that too but the dreaded wind roar at higher speeds I think is better with these two....I'll keep experimenting till I get it as good as I can with 70 mph winds lol All the best mark
Sounds good to me. Nice and clear for conversation. Pretty clear while riding too. I would call it "little wind noise". Nice review.
I’v used it for a couple of months. IT IS amazing. Great sound quality, but the wind protection is What makes it One of a kind!
Do I have to take the black cover off the mic before putting the cat cover on?

That's strange I use mine with the hero 7 and it's perfect

Make sure you use the male adapter with TWO black rings not three into the gopro adapter
