When this song suddenly comes on in a British pub there is nothing like it. The energy becomes electrifying with everyone singing together at the top of their voices and being in the moment. If you're outside, you will hear the whole inside of the pub singing down the street. It's amazing.

This is such an EPIC song! Oasis filled huge stadiums, thousands singing this song as loud as they could and this album was the biggest selling album of the 90s in the uk. Every track on it is a banger!
These guys are such an important band for me!. Oasis (and Britpop in general) were the soundtrack of my 20's. It opened up a gateway to so much more music and expanded my listening tastes. Liam's voice was phenomenal and I have so much fun with them, but the songs I connected with on a deep emotional level have always been sung by Noel. Now that I am older this song in particular really hits me in the feelings for some reason. Music doesn't generally move me to tears but a month ago this came on randomly and whelp the emotions got the best of me. Damn you Noel G!

Couldn't have said it better myself - OASIS' first three albums in particular defined my early 20s. The most emotional song for me personally comes from their 4th album ("Sunday Morning Call"). I also really loved their EP Masterplan. One of my fondest memories is the day I bought my first car with my own money - driving around with the live album (Familiar to Millions) blasting :)
Funny because this album turned 25 years 2 days ago. An absolute banger man. Thanks for this reaction! Another Oasis songs... Oasis have so many great songs, anything off of their first two albums would make a great reaction. Imo, both Definitely Maybe and Whats the Story Morning Glory are top 5 albums of all time. If you had to react to one song, Champagne Supernova is one of the best songs ever writteb
Hey Jayvee, coming at ya a kiwi from Australia...I so love that you are doing this..its win win! We love seeing you react to the greatest songs ever. You are such a lovely chap..deep, spiritual and honest. A breath of fresh air. Love ya, keep it up.
I was lucky enough to see them live, hands down one of the best concerts I'd even been to. The goose bumps of thousands of voices singing this in unison was something I'll never forget.
When I saw that you had been listening to Coldplay, my first thought was "Hey, what about Oasis? Did he listen to them already?" and a couple of seconds later I saw this announcement! 😉👍 The album on which this track is on just had its 25th anniversary on October, 2nd, so it's a perfect coincidence! 😅 I'm an absolute die-hard fan of Oasis since the 90s and this will be a real treat. If I could make a wish, than I would ask you to especially listen to their live stuff from the 90s because they were on such a different level than anybody else. There are too many songs to recommend, but maybe check out "Live Forever", "Cast no Shadow", "Whatever"(!!) etc... Anyways, thank you SO MUCH for reacting to Oasis! I'm sure, if you would privately watch the Maine Road concert in 96, you would become another fan of Oasis - I feel that you're someone who could really connect with the way they gave their performances. ❤️
Liam Lennon Wait this came out on October 2nd 1995? I love this album and I am finding out now that What’s the Story Morning Glory? Came out on my 20th birthday? Are you serious universe? Mind officially blown!
I'm glad to have given you a proper blowing 😂 But on a serious note, you should check out Oasis' UA-cam channel because they have been uploading all sorts of things for the last couple of days, for example a documentary about Noel revisiting the studio at which they produced the album. 👍
Oasis have over a 100 amazing songs plus their solo works brilliant as well. Their acoustic work and demos are even better and some of their live stuff is unbelievable
No words can describe how huge and ubiquitous this band was in the UK at the time. The band that everybody knew with even some of their b-sides becoming hits. From a fantastic album, INCLUDING "Wonderwall". I don't care if people think it's overplayed - it's a GREAT song still.
This song is an anthem here in the UK. Play this in any pub and you'll swaying with your arms around a bunch of new friends all singing your heart out.
Still love how at their Glasgow gig in October 2001, Noel dedicated it to Our brothers and sisters in America ❤️ and then years later Liam performed such an emotional performance at the Manchester One Love gig. Just such a message of peace in the face of evil in the world. Makes you feel together
POV: This is one of the best songs ever!! I'm sooooo glad it's with me for 28 yrs! My generation was afortunated with such increadible songs like that! ❤🔥 Great reaction! Thank u ☺️
Yes, this is Noel singing on this song, its usually Liam. Now, i really hope you will soon react to "The Masterplan ,live Maine Road 96". Its Noel singing again, and it's superb. I say this video because its the one with a fantastic harmonica player.
One of the most beautiful rock songs of all time right here! Noel’s voice on top of this composition. Layered guitars on point with the classic Oasis wailing, piano done just right with a hint of Lennon inspiration, drums perfectly laid back and rising when needed. Just musical perfection. You did it justice with this reaction Jay! Headphones on, eyes closed, just enjoying.
Your reaction was perfect. Loved the insights and really appreciated that you went back and drew attention to the drumming. You have a really good ear and sense of musicality.
From same area as me, Manchester England. Proud to have had such an amazing group from here. Loved them throughout the 90’s to mid 2000’s. Check out live forever video if you haven’t already
Great song! This brings so many memories, Brit Pop, optimism, hope and bloody great music! This song always makes me smile, Oasis were a great band. Yes, they were heavily influenced by The Beatles, Noel Gallagher openly admits it and there isn't anything wrong with that! I'm SO glad you enjoyed this. I can hear your passion for this song, and I am jealous that it's the first time you've heard it, as I remember the impact it had on me when I was young. Where the lads grew up is only an hours drive from where I live now. The North Remembers.
I love the long, stretched-out words in the melody. Fun to sing. When Britain gets an itch they make awesome musical moments. Hope they do it again soon.
Mate, I’ve been listening to Oasis since 1994, and I can honestly say watching you listen to, and enjoy this song the way you have made me feel like it was my first time hearing it all over again. I’m delighted that you enjoyed it so much!
I so enjoy watching you jam out to some of my favorite songs. It reminds me of the old days when my friends and I would go over to each others just to share whatever tunes had caught our attention. Keep exploring! 🙂🙂🙂
I can't tell you how many times this song has calmed me down when things went south. Also this song hits your soul, another 90's gem that gets forgotten at times. One of my favorites.
My mums name was Sally and breaks me up every time. "SOUL SIGHED A WAVE" We had fallen out over something totally silly. She passed away and the song hurts so much. DON'T LOOK BACK IN ANGER FOLKS
As a diehard Oasis fan (Like practically every Northern Lad) it’s pretty much agreed that Wonderwall is their most overrated song. Yeah it’s good. But it being the song that most people outside of the UK know Oasis for is criminal. Especially when there’s songs like this, Live Forever, Champagne Supernova, Some Might Say, Lyla, Slide Away. And so many others that are a million times better
When they sing " I'm gonna start a revolution from my bed " they're referring to John and Yokos famous anti Vietnam protests for peace in 1969. Very controversial at the time as they were in bed for 2 weeks promoting PEACE ✌️
Man, what are you Jovaughn? A mind reader??? There has been a bunch of songs that you have done that I would have requested but thankfully other fans did. This is one of my 3 favorite Oasis songs. The band never quite lived up to the Beatles, which they wanted to be but they did make some good music. Since we are into the alternative rock phase or whatever others want to call it, I suggest "I Won't Go Home Without You" by Maroon Five. Since you already did Every Breath You Take by The Police, you will notice a certain similarity in the song.
I did this one over a month ago. It was blocked in every country besides the UK. It's available now so please like, comment and share before they block it again thanks

Play this song in a pub in the UK, especially late at night, and watch what happens. 🙂
You get doused in beer 🍺😂
Whole pub singing loudly, pints raised, arms around each others shoulders 😉
Right! It's like an unofficial national anthem :D
I want to go in the UK, but it's almost impossible. Nobody knows this song in my country. If you was born in the UK - you're a very lucky person.

Gotta Reccommend Some Might Say (A rocker) or Stop Crying Your Heart Out (A ballad). Absolutely the top of their class for both.
One of our national anthems ❤
The Live version of this song from Argentina is epic.
yes it is.
So epic
When I saw that you had been listening to Coldplay, my first thought was "Hey, what about Oasis? Did he listen to them already?" and a couple of seconds later I saw this announcement! 😉👍 The album on which this track is on just had its 25th anniversary on October, 2nd, so it's a perfect coincidence! 😅
I'm an absolute die-hard fan of Oasis since the 90s and this will be a real treat.
I'm glad to have given you a proper blowing 😂
But on a serious note, you should check out Oasis' UA-cam channel because they have been uploading all sorts of things for the last couple of days, for example a documentary about Noel revisiting the studio at which they produced the album. 👍
It's akin to watching the reaction from a friend to a track you like....for the first time...just great!!
It's amazing that you make the connection between Oasis and the Beatles. The Beatles were their inspiration.
This song is a masterpiece. I think you can hear 40 years of British rock music on that song.
Oasis have over a 100 amazing songs plus their solo works brilliant as well. Their acoustic work and demos are even better and some of their live stuff is unbelievable
Good reaction man, do more Oasis when you can, also try a a band called the Stereophonics.
No words can describe how huge and ubiquitous this band was in the UK at the time. The band that everybody knew with even some of their b-sides becoming hits. From a fantastic album, INCLUDING "Wonderwall". I don't care if people think it's overplayed - it's a GREAT song still.
You NEED to listen to more Oasis, the greatest band of modern times!
greatest of all time
Reading festival, when the music finished and everyone went back to their camps, everyone singing this. Madness
That drum roll is just epic
@Daffa Hazza very well rated by knowledgable people
Most iconic band of the 90's.
Liam and Noel both great voices! This album had, Champagne Supernova, This song, And Wonderwall On the same god damn album!!! Christ almighty
Thank u ☺️
Would love to see you react to Ian Brown "F.E.A.R"
Such a cleverly written song.
YES
👌
Yes!
Yes!
Yay!!! Just love Oasis!!!! Shouts out from Nelly in Toronto Ontario
This time it won't get blocked again, fingers crossed.
I heard you say....
One of their greatest. We were very proud of them over here. Biggest band of the 90s. Much love from the UK
Yes, this is Noel singing on this song, its usually Liam. Now, i really hope you will soon react to "The Masterplan ,live Maine Road 96". Its Noel singing again, and it's superb. I say this video because its the one with a fantastic harmonica player.
So glad you enjoyed this song. Its what I listened to in the pubs in London. Brought back some good memories
Please try, I predict a riot by Kaiser Chiefs, brilliant band, brilliant song
Angry Mob, Coming Home, and Ruby.
Never Miss a Beat
@pc Take Me Out and Right Words, Right Thoughts, Right Actions.
Seen them live!
Crap
One of the most beautiful rock songs of all time right here!
Noel’s voice on top of this composition. Layered guitars on point with the classic Oasis wailing, piano done just right with a hint of Lennon inspiration, drums perfectly laid back and rising when needed. Just musical perfection.
You did it justice with this reaction Jay! Headphones on, eyes closed, just enjoying.
Love this band. My young adulthood appreciates you doing Oasis. Wonderwall and Champagne Super nova should be done
It makes me happy to see you happy
You should listen to Paolo Nutini- Last Request 💕
Oooh I love his abbey rd live version of iron skies. Goose bumps❤️
And lead in my pencil😊
oh yes please react to Last Request! he is so good, but somehow americans have missed out.
And "Candy" and "Jenny don't be hasty"! ❤️
And iron sky
Your reaction was perfect. Loved the insights and really appreciated that you went back and drew attention to the drumming. You have a really good ear and sense of musicality.
When people in England start singing this together at Live games or Shows. I love it
From same area as me, Manchester England.
Always been my favorite song of theirs. Thx for ur rxn
Jay, now that you mention it, I can hear "Imagin" as well. Interesting how I never heard it before.
I so enjoy watching you jam out to some of my favorite songs. It reminds me of the old days when my friends and I would go over to each others just to share whatever tunes had caught our attention. Keep exploring! 🙂🙂🙂
England ♥️ The music capital of the world, the place where REAL music begins!
✌🏻♥️✊🏴🎧
It took the Brits to recognize the power of black music in America, didn't it! UK rocks.
I can't tell you how many times this song has calmed me down when things went south. Also this song hits your soul, another 90's gem that gets forgotten at times. One of my favorites.
This song has Noel doing the singing rather than Liam. Still awesome.
My fav Oasis song
My mums name was Sally and breaks me up every time. "SOUL SIGHED A WAVE" We had fallen out over something totally silly. She passed away and the song hurts so much. DON'T LOOK BACK IN ANGER FOLKS
So worth watching your reaction love how your always on point. Thank you
Next: Oasis - Wonderwall. And there's another British 90s band: Blur. Check them out.
Ooooo the Blur Vs Oasis battle. Country House Vs Roll with it. What a time to be alive when that happened
I would say listen to Blur's Coffee and TV. Just a personal favorite.
He already reacted to Wonderwall months ago. This is his 2nd Oasis video, as far as I can tell.
Oh I see. :)
Happy times. My friend did t-shirts for them and Happy Mondays, 808 State in the later 80's. Great Mancs [Manchester] sounds.
It took them 12 days to write the whole album and it’s one of the top 5 albums in the uk
My joint 2nd favourite Oasis song alongside Wonderwall. My favourite it Champagne Supernova.
When they sing " I'm gonna start a revolution from my bed " they're referring to John and Yokos famous anti Vietnam protests for peace in 1969. Very controversial at the time as they were in bed for 2 weeks promoting PEACE ✌️
I never understood the line "cause the brain you said I had went to my head".
Great song, and great reaction! Your almost there Jay! You will be well past 100k before you know it!
Oasis are known for a contemporary version of "The Beatles Sound".. Great Studio Music... : )
