For a few years, Oasis ruled the world. To put that into perspective, this song came 2 albums and 5 years after their peak fame, both in terms of popularity and songwriting. Just goes to show how good they really are and don't quite get the credit they deserve (anymore).

My mum died of cancer in 2004 and there are 4 songs that make me think about her, Stop crying your heart out, Everybodys changing, Somewhere only we go and My immortal, and each song has some kind of meaning to me, and over 9 months i watched her slowly fade away right up to the very end when she could hardly breath and not speak, every song is interperated differently and for me these 4 songs remind me of that time, i could only see what she was saying through her eyes and she seemed peaceful when she passed away, its still hard to understand why these songs spark a memory of that time, but everytime i hear them they fill me with love and loss even if that was not the true meaning of what they were about.

Oasis is one of my favorite bands. "All Around the World" is a great song, too, which I'd recommend next.

You’re ight mate, it’s a great song. The instruments and Liam’s voice just blend so well together. In my opinion this song was their best achievement

I love this songs message- dont try to control what you cant control especially stuff from the past thats been and gone. It wastes energy and makes you sad. Live in the moment and practice self care. I loved this group. Its such a shame they broke up. They are so talented. I never heard a song from them I didnt like

You should also check out Pulp, such a brilliant band. So many classics like common people, mis-shapes, babies, and disco 2000.
