Nice work very professional looking product. Have watched another of your videos, and like the fact you incorporate things such as Bigfoot & UFOs into your designs. I love the outdoors, but being a reader of H.P. Lovecraft, looking into things such as missing 411, I can find a bit of mystery to nature that adds to the excitement. Also nice Benchmade wish these were produced for sale have a new Manly Patriot I need some nice leather for.

Amazing work. You are an inspiration . I have knives that need sheaths. Being remote I guess that I need to make them myself. Maybe somewhere I will find more information about what you do.

I am really impressed that this is your first YT video as it seems so polished for a first attempt. Your method of leather crafting is similar to mine but after watching most of your videos I was still able to pick up some ideas. Please keep making these and I will keep on watching! BTW, the quality of your work is very nice.

A trick I came up with while making knife sheaths and working out the blade retention needs was when I needed to shape/form the leather with water those shaped areas eventually soften. My work around was to float a layer of CA glue on the back side and holding the shape a tad tighter while the CA glue cures. You can sand down anything that sticks up. It makes the leather have a spring memory. Try it out on something not important and see if its trick you can use.

@@freakofnatureco Ive never seen anyone else use the CA trick, not to say I came up with it... just the thought came to me. So no, no links. As an example, go to your scrap bin and find a small piece of leather from around the neck of the hide. Its usually far to soft to use for holsters, bags and sheaths. Then, on the back side spread a large bead of thin CA and let it kick off while holding it in a shape other than flat. You will notice once the glue kicks off (look into CA glue accelerators) that the CA soaked areas are very hard and stiff and reluctant to yielding to pressure. I used this method to stiffen a section of a sheath which overlaid the front scale/bolster area of the knife which retained the knife blade and handle in the sheath without a flap and snap or the like.

I sometimes use a cotton wheel on a bench grinder to finish the edge. Really removes material so I need to be careful.

@@freakofnatureco Yessum! I piddle around with some leathercraft myself, but shucks, NOTHIN like that! Mostly what I do is personal modifications to what I've bought. Added a snap strap to a leather sheath that came with a knife and stuff like that. Well done on that though. Checked out and bookmarked y'all's website and I'm interested to see what y'all gonna put on there.
