    Greer Garson, born on September 29, 1904, was a British-American actress renowned for her captivating performances on the silver screen during the mid-20th century. She is best remembered for her elegance, poise, and compelling portrayals of strong, resilient women in various acclaimed films.
    Born Eileen Evelyn Greer Garson in London, England, Garson initially pursued a career in academia, studying at the University of London and later at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. However, her undeniable talent and striking beauty soon led her to the world of acting. She made her stage debut in 1932 and quickly gained recognition for her theatrical work in both London and New York City.

    Random Harvest was my favorite Greer Garson film. I don't understand how you could overlook that 1942 film. Her performance was great as was Ronald Colman's.

    Buddy and Greer absolutely adored that ranch in NM. They were so sad when they had to return much to the city to be nearest medical care for Buddy. They had many close friends in Santa Fe.

    Mrs. Miniver, Mrs. Parkington, and best of all her movies “Pride and Prejudice” were so good and her portrayal as Madame Curie was so incredible that I have watched it many times now and I still love it so much. ❤

    My most favorite all time actress,she was wonderful.I loved he in Mrs Minever & in Mrs Parkaton , and in the movie with Lawrence Oliver ! Excused my spelling!

    Good video no mention of a little-known film ms Garson stared in with co stars Walter Pigeon and the great Agnes Moorehead titled;"'Mrs Parkington" Delightful film She was an exceptional Actress otherwise loved this short video

      Loved this Movie from beginning to end ! It was an exceptional movie,with exceptional acting from Greer,Agnes,and Pigeon loved them more.Agnes Moorehead looks radiant in this movie,You just had to love them !

    His name is spelled OLIVIER. Not OLIVER as you pronounce it. Not only her first Academy Award but her ONLY Academy Award. She Was a honey of a looker and a honey of an actress. James Agee wrote he would have loved to have seen her play Lady Macbeth, another kind of royalty aside from all of her noble women.
