Had mine removed at age 11, after 3 episodes of appendicitis, my elementary school Principal made my mom take me to the hospital….mom thought I was just trying to get attention….doctors scolded mom for almost allowing my appendix to burst and kill me…mom was nonplussed about my need for immediate emergency surgery….

@@nishanthiraju69 65 and not good. Im a little guy with a chip on my shoulder that I can do the same job as big strong guys do…destroyed my shoulders back and knees. Multiple motorcycle crashes have contributed close to a dozen broken bones and 7 concussions too! So safe to say im a short timer at 65, but I’ve done so much more than most so I can leave here anytime now and im good with that…

I was at work one day and my stomach started hurting real bad. It felt like sharp knives jumping around in my stomach. I thought it was some sort of stomach flu. I went home and laid in a fetal position all night because of the pain. No sleep all night. The next morning i was so sick i called my son and ask him to take me to the hospital. He showed up and to the hospital we go. I told the doctor what was going on and she ran some test. They took some ex rays and discovered that my appendix had burst that night. The nearest hospital that could do the surgery was 2 hours away. The ambulance took me on a 2 hour ride. I went straight into surgery when i got there. After the surgery the surgeon came to see me. He said the he's been doing this for 25 years and that was the worst ruptured appendix he had ever seen. He did tell me if i had waited another 24 hours i would have died. So if anybody out there has massive stomach pains go to the hospital immediately.
