In that way innovation is a very easy deviation to refute by someone who is not salafi even, so of course pseudo salafis are able to do it. But the pseudo salafis are intricately meshed within the mainstream salafi group with major errors in their aqeedah which are difficult for newcomers to pinpoint. And its these errors in aqeedah that are a major danger we have to be wary of. It is therefore important to distinguish from them.

Shaykh Rabee is a scholar of Hadith and jarh wa ta’deel. Shaykh bin baz and others would refer to him sometimes for review of individuals’ aqeedah and books. Sure shaykh Rabee has made enemies as other ulema have. May Allaah reward the ulema for guiding the ummah to the right direction with the permission of Allaah subhanahuwata’yala. Madhkhali is a derogatory term used by those who oppose the Salafi Dawah in general and particularly against those who have gone to the extreme in Tabdee, declaring others to be innovators. Even if they are Salafi, or Salafi in Aqeedah only. These are known as those who affiliate to Salafi Publications/ TROID. Shaykh Rabi bin Hadi Al Madhkhali did go the extreme of refuting, scholars like Abdul Muhsin Al Abbad adviced him and he did calm down. Shaykh Rabi is well known amongst the Scholars for his works.

Authentic Quran and sunnah.I listen to most mainstream Sunni scholars and try to do as best research as I can on them , generally if I see a scholar not rejecting the Thagut and not having al wallah and al barra openly I am careful about them.

I used to be one of those people who was a madkhali salafi. Having been one I can tell you madkhali is a true statement and it isn't derogatory. You will know a madkhali because they will make imtihan on a person based on their allegiance to Sheikh Rabee. They find the term derogatory because it makes them look like a faraq they would like to be seen as pure and following the salaf in the purest form. However, in reality, they are on the madhab of Sheikh Rabee Al Madkhali. MAdkhalis have no problem calling people qutubis or surooris or other names and they will tell you themselves these are not derogatory terms they are just names of tamyeez in order to place people in their reality.
i agree that Abu Khadeejah and many of the groups that are affiliated with him are not a good source for refutations as they are extreme in regards to it. And to be frank they misrepresent salafiyyah.
But it is not correct to correlate the wrong doings of these groups to sheikh rabee (hafidhahullah). The works of Sheikh Rabee (if read) do not call to the same actions that abu khadeejah and his group is doing. Sheikh rabee does not know english so he is unaware of the situation and sadly has been relying on the news that Abu khadeejah and others have been giving him as they apparently seem like good students. Sheikh Badr Al-Utaybee (hafidhahullah) who has an understanding of the dawah in the west sought to advise Sheikh Rabee (hafidhahullah) about like these issues but things have gotten complicated due to other factors. Sheikh Wasiullah Abbas (hafidhahullah) also knows about the situation and has publicly warned against Abu Khadijah. But neither of these two sheikhs have refuted Sheikh Rabee as they know he's not the problem. Sheikh Rabee did not create the cult mentality. Some of his students created that cult mentality around him and say things about him like "Imam of Jarh wa Ta'deel" when the sheikh has greatly disapproved this title for himself. In fact if the sheikh knew the reality of their sayings, i have no doubt that he would be like the first to refute them. This spubs group have went into extremes regarding this man. May Allah guide them and clear the name of the sheikh.
@@penguinman38 Sheikh Rabee is very much aware of the situation. So are all of those close to him. He has stated time and time again to not follow him, I agree. However, the madakhilah see it as a position of humbleness. So despite him saying it they still will use him as a way to measure people. Said Qutb never once said to everyone to follow him either, and even half a century after his death those who follow him hook line and sinker are called Qutubis. Sheikh Rabee is way too harsh and that is mainly why SPUBS are also very harsh, that is a fact. If you think there is no correlation then you haven't been in the trenches.

He trusts them as he didn't see a reason not to. He can't read what they post and share because he doesn't know english. They are many brothers like me who don't support spubs but still respect Sheikh Rabee as he is a sheikh whose scholarship is well known. And none of the scholars have warned against him. This is like how people treat Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahhab (rahimahullah), they listen to other people's opinions instead of directly exploring the man. It's about being just my respected brother. They are some scholars in Islamic history who were known for their harshness due to their love for the sunnah. Sheikh Rabee is simply that character. But to be honest if you read his works you will find him to be not too harsh. If you listen to his lectures, you will find gentleness. People speak ill of him due to spubs but don't read his works or listen to his lectures. There is more to this man than refutations. By the way, his refutations against isis has put his life on risk. They are people who use the term madhkhalis to describe spubs and people who go to extremes with Sheikh Rabee. But beware there is another group that uses this term which are isis supporters and people that support revolting against Muslim rulers. These people are international and not limited to the uk/canada/US. The "salafi" terrorists (believe me, i have met people like them) usually use this term against the salafis like me who don't believe in khurooj against the Muslim rulers (because of course that is against the sunnah). And i don't listen much to sheikh rabee and i openly warn against spubs but these people still call me a madkhali for being anti-isis and for being anti-khurooj and for being against unjust takfir. Thus i say be careful regarding being around people who say this term. May Allah bless you and cause both of us to be from the true People of Sunnah.

I like the name "Psudo Salafis" because, not only does it describe those types of people, but it also removes the name "Madkhali" from being associated with them because the Sheikh Rabiyah Al-Madkhali is one of the Ulimma'a and in my opinion if we associate that name with them, we Unintentionally Backbite the Sheikh in the process. May Allah guide us all, and may Allah guide the Psudo-Salafis to the true respectful way of the Salaf. Ameen.
None of them really showed with evidence what these so called pseudo Salafis did different from the way of the Salaf in aqeedah and manhaj. So this name calling is also inappropriate. But I've personally dealt with those types of people, and they do actually say that and literally too. I group of them that used to speak with me were like that. One of them literally sent me a list of scholars who are the "only" ones one should follow and every other Sheikh is "misguided." I agree with those brothers when they say "The Religion shouldn't be taken from just anyone." I agree because there are people out there who are leading people to misguidance. How ever, to list a small number of scholars and not to follow anyone but them, doesn't make sense. If a scholar is using evidence from Quran & Sunnah and and have the right Aqeedah then we should not accuse him of "Bida'a" unless there are strong evidence for that.

Do you not research before making such comments? Did you not stop to question why he does that? Do not stoop to namecalling those who do such things as Madkhalis because its a slander to Imam Rabi al Madkhali. Whom does labelling someone Ikhwani slander? It is important to distinguish deviants from ahl assunnah, but not in a manner that divides us within ourselves like it already had. Imam Madkhali has never advocated for such errors which have butterflied from the mistakes he corrected himself for.
Hmm the concept of Madkhalism is not correct because it is not found anywhere in Sunnah. It is based on copying the non-believers out of desperation. So it is not correct. Al Albani's idea was better in that we have to be patient because the leaders are far gone and we have to focus on following the correct Islam in our homes and with friends.

Authentic Quran and sunnah.I listen to most mainstream Sunni scholars and try to do as best research as I can on them , generally if I see a scholar not rejecting the Thagut and not having al wallah and al barra openly I am careful about them.
Where is this principle from? They must warn against taghut or else beware of them?

I used to be one of those people who was a madkhali salafi. Having been one I can tell you madkhali is a true statement and it isn't derogatory. You will know a madkhali because they will make imtihan on a person based on their allegiance to Sheikh Rabee. They find the term derogatory because it makes them look like a faraq they would like to be seen as pure and following the salaf in the purest form. However, in reality, they are on the madhab of Sheikh Rabee Al Madkhali. MAdkhalis have no problem calling people qutubis or surooris or other names and they will tell you themselves these are not derogatory terms they are just names of tamyeez in order to place people in their reality.
i agree that Abu Khadeejah and many of the groups that are affiliated with him are not a good source for refutations as they are extreme in regards to it. And to be frank they misrepresent salafiyyah.
But it is not correct to correlate the wrong doings of these groups to sheikh rabee (hafidhahullah). The works of Sheikh Rabee (if read) do not call to the same actions that abu khadeejah and his group is doing.
Sheikh rabee does not know english so he is unaware of the situation and sadly has been relying on the news that Abu khadeejah and others have been giving him as they apparently seem like good students.
Sheikh Badr Al-Utaybee (hafidhahullah) who has an understanding of the dawah in the west sought to advise Sheikh Rabee (hafidhahullah) about like these issues but things have gotten complicated due to other factors.
Sheikh Wasiullah Abbas (hafidhahullah) also knows about the situation and has publicly warned against Abu Khadijah. But neither of these two sheikhs have refuted Sheikh Rabee as they know he's not the problem.
Sheikh Rabee did not create the cult mentality. Some of his students created that cult mentality around him and say things about him like "Imam of Jarh wa Ta'deel" when the sheikh has greatly disapproved this title for himself.
In fact if the sheikh knew the reality of their sayings, i have no doubt that he would be like the first to refute them.
This spubs group have went into extremes regarding this man. May Allah guide them and clear the name of the sheikh.
@@penguinman38 Sheikh Rabee is very much aware of the situation. So are all of those close to him. He has stated time and time again to not follow him, I agree. However, the madakhilah see it as a position of humbleness. So despite him saying it they still will use him as a way to measure people.
Said Qutb never once said to everyone to follow him either, and even half a century after his death those who follow him hook line and sinker are called Qutubis.
Sheikh Rabee is way too harsh and that is mainly why SPUBS are also very harsh, that is a fact. If you think there is no correlation then you haven't been in the trenches.

He trusts them as he didn't see a reason not to. He can't read what they post and share because he doesn't know english.
So it is unjust to correlate every single wrongdoing (or most wrongdoings) of spubs to the sheikh.
They are many brothers like me who don't support spubs but still respect Sheikh Rabee as he is a sheikh whose scholarship is well known. And none of the scholars have warned against him.
Scholars/students of knowledge who are against spubs like Sheikh Wasiullah Abbas, Sheikh Badr Al-Utaybi, Sheikh Muzammil Al-Faqeeri and others don't speak ill of Sheikh Rabee nor warn against him.
The Sheikh is over the age of 90. Are we going to discount the sheikh's scholarship due to how spubs have misrepresented him? This is like how people treat Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahhab (rahimahullah), they listen to other people's opinions instead of directly exploring the man.
It's about being just my respected brother. They are some scholars in Islamic history who were known for their harshness due to their love for the sunnah. Sheikh Rabee is simply that character. But to be honest if you read his works you will find him to be not too harsh. If you listen to his lectures, you will find gentleness.
People speak ill of him due to spubs but don't read his works or listen to his lectures.
There is more to this man than refutations. By the way, his refutations against isis has put his life on risk.
They are people who use the term madhkhalis to describe spubs and people who go to extremes with Sheikh Rabee.
But beware there is another group that uses this term which are isis supporters and people that support revolting against Muslim rulers. These people are international and not limited to the uk/canada/US.
The "salafi" terrorists (believe me, i have met people like them) usually use this term against the salafis like me who don't believe in khurooj against the Muslim rulers (because of course that is against the sunnah). And i don't listen much to sheikh rabee and i openly warn against spubs but these people still call me a madkhali for being anti-isis and for being anti-khurooj and for being against unjust takfir.
Thus i say be careful regarding being around people who say this term.

For me I do not take everything he says like I once did. I am a lot more easy going now, I would never call scholars ikhwani due to them not make tabdi of others nor will I start treating all Muslims who don’t like sheikh Rabee as inhabitants of hellfire. I’m over that.

I like the name "Psudo Salafis" because, not only does it describe those types of people, but it also removes the name "Madkhali" from being associated with them because the Sheikh Rabiyah Al-Madkhali is one of the Ulimma'a and in my opinion if we associate that name with them, we Unintentionally Backbite the Sheikh in the process.

None of them really showed with evidence what these so called pseudo Salafis did different from the way of the Salaf in aqeedah and manhaj. So this name calling is also inappropriate. And they don't have a list of scholars where they say they are the only scholars one can take from. This is accusation based on imagination.

But I've personally dealt with those types of people, and they do actually say that and literally too. I group of them that used to speak with me were like that. One of them literally sent me a list of scholars who are the "only" ones one should follow and every other Sheikh is "misguided."
I agree with those brothers when they say "The Religion shouldn't be taken from just anyone." I agree because there are people out there who are leading people to misguidance. How ever, to list a small number of scholars and not to follow anyone but them, doesn't make sense. If a scholar is using evidence from Quran & Sunnah and and have the right Aqeedah then we should not accuse him of "Bida'a" unless there are strong evidence for that.

Imam Ahmad did not takfeer his leader who promoted clear cut kufr due to the Imam believing that he was ignorant. Imam Ahmad still prayed behind him and he didn't call for rebellion or for the other scholars to openly criticize the leader of the time.

It is important to distinguish deviants from ahl assunnah, but not in a manner that divides us within ourselves like it already had.
Imam Madkhali has never advocated for such errors which have butterflied from the mistakes he corrected himself for.

Madkhali was he a great scholar though?
Hmm the concept of Madkhalism is not correct because it is not found anywhere in Sunnah. It is based on copying the non-believers out of desperation. So it is not correct. Al Albani's idea was better in that we have to be patient because the leaders are far gone and we have to focus on following the correct Islam in our homes and with friends.

@@SDSen well he was friends with Al Albani and the other major sheikhs around at that time, and was held in high regard. So yes I think he was, hence why I was careful not to say Madkhali himself was incorrect but the concept of Madkhalism, which seems to be a problematic terminology in itself. Shuyukh can be knowledgeable and make grave mistakes or be fooled/threatened/abused by politicians. Allahualim.
