Most russophobia comes from the Anglosphere unfortunately. America was based for a while but now they are just like Britain. Considering Britain's russophobia caused it to collapse, I can see with certainty that the same will happen to America.

I dont see any other way in which the west couldve gotten richer considering trade from China, Persia and India had to flow through the east to get to the west

@@ihatemotionblur_3255 the trade didn't end there though, Mediterranean trade is very lucrative from trade with China in general, Venice got rich in the west from their trade in the east, sprinkle in the Germans going east or integrating easier with the west and government investment in the west to import more food from Egypt while keeping the political institutions in the west to have more incentives and the west could stay wealthy, it already had more resources wealth with silver from hispania tin from brittania and agriculture in France, hell post Roman collapse the renaissance started in Italy (with Greek assistance) and France was consideres the "first world" or equivalent for medieval europe

The only reason Sweden didn't join the war against Russia was because the riksdag (parliament) refused to do so, the king Oscar I was eager to join the war against Russia because he did have ambitions on retaking Finland from Russia. And let's say theoretically that Sweden did join in on the war and got finland out of it and became allies with Britain, why wouldn't Britain directly support Sweden if another finnish war broke out between them and the Russians? Certainly the British economy would be effected to an extent because of the lumber and iron exports we did during this time to the Brits.
But back on the whole ambition thing, not only did Sweden want to take Finland back but so did many nobles in Finland want that too (they were Swedish) which would then create a big support bloc for a Swedish finland.

As a trasnylvanian Romanian i honestly would rather belong to Austro-Romania than just Hungary. What we currently have is very lucky but if it wouldnt have happened then Austro-Romania would be the next best option.

I'm asking a question before (hopefully I'm asking at the right time). Can we have access to the maps you use in your alternate history scenarios (e.g. the ones where the audience of UA-camrs decide what happens after the World Wars, as well as the map you used for your Napoleonic scenarios? They're good quality, and it'd be helpful to have access to maps like those for the alternate history scenarios I like to create. (This isn't me asking for your maps so I can then make videos featuring them or do something similar - I'm asking just so I can use them personally).
I would also be interested in these maps (for nonprofit and personal use)

Would argue that Sweden very much wanted Finland back. They were only the Riksdag/Parliament too frightened and nervous to join the conflict without guarantees of British and French help. King Oskar and the people want Finland back. and Sweden still had great support from Finland that they wanted to come back to Sweden. one must not forget that Sweden's and Finland's had been in the same kingdom for almost 600 years. Finland and Sweden were one. So would probably say that Sweden's would have had Finland's back again. Also, Finland was very strategically good for Sweden. Because every time Russia went to war against Sweden, they had to go through Finland, which was always very difficult for them. But very good video otherwise!

Honestly makes you consider, what if they'd offered a Poland puppet/buffer state to Austria to compensate Austria, since it would honestly be in Austria's interest to weaken British naval power in the Mediterranean, and less Balkan Expansion would let Austria focus on Italy and Germany. Not to mention by Austria and Russia working together it would severely limit the Prussians.
Looking forward for the next video, it would be interesting to see what the British plan could've caused

Alternate history idea: Warsaw Uprising kicked germans out of city.
So: instead of watching Warsaw burn, soviet did some helping, for example allowed Allied planes to operate from airfields (in reality they refused any help, because they wanted to occupy Poland after war and AK resistance would be a problem), AK got more weapons and ammunition ect.
After securing Warsaw, and Red Army pushing west, goverment in exile returned to rightfull polish capital.
Now there is huge problem in peace deal: USSR wanted to occupy Poland (they lied that poles wanted communism in real life), but polish goverment in Warsaw is seen by West and poles as legitimate.
And even bigger problem: USSR attacked Poland in 1939, and took eastern part. After war, most of this territory was kept by Soviet Union.

An extra explanation as to why Austria would definitely *not* want Moldova and Wallachia: they literally had no defenses or fortifications. Over the centuries as tributary nations, both were forced by the Ottomans to demolish any they had in the past and were forbidden from building new ones. Thus, with Wallachia being mostly flatland, and Moldova just some low hills, they'd be very hard to defend. Indeed, the Danube makes a more defensible border to the south, but to the north you have Prut, a significantly smaller river, as a border.
Oh, and the Transylvanian Romanians were already on a long campaign of forging a national consciousness as a way to break away from the Austrians. Imagine doubling the number of Romanians and the good it'd to to your empire's stability.

I just thought of a treaty where everyone lose for the Crimean War: Create an independent Polish-Lithuania and Yugoslavia to serve as buffer states to halt Russian expansion and also be used to protect Russia from European and Ottoman aggression. (Independent Finland as well if Sweden was part of the conflict)
We should call the current war in Ukraine the Second Crimean War to make history easier for future generations
They have almost nothing to do with each other. Uniting the 2014 war with this one would make more sense.

Neither Naples or the Papal States were really trying to unite Italy. The unification of Italy was basically only driven by Piedmont.

Crimea would still be relatively dependable due to how you have to reach it, the real problem would be supply.
Here’s an interesting scenario for you the British actually wanted to send Napoleon to India but Russia said no because they wanted Napoleon in a place where they all could watch him easier which was why the island of Elba was chosen
What if they actually did get their way and sent him to India but perhaps Napoleon does his signature Napoleon things and makes the British Raj rebel against the British either turning into a French colony, or becoming independent but allied with France as Napoleon becomes a hero of India
