    I will play this entire audio on my headphones when I ride on Spaceship Earth now. It's amazing how it fits too.

    That sweeping majestic beginning of "Tomorrow's Child" as your vehicle reached the top of the sphere and began to rotate really was magical.

    This was the best version. Cronkite’s narration and Tomorrow’s Child

      No way! By far Jeremy Irons version is the BEST!!! Cronkite's voice is so flat and unemotional.

    Walter Cronkite is the twentieth century father of narration. Always will be.

    This is how I remember it from my first time to Epcot in April of 1988. I rode it in April of 2016 also. I miss this original version.

      I too went in 1988 atvtyatbtime for first time Bernard! Though I also enjoyed the Jeremy Irons version in 94, I remember being struck by the significant change and my family and I were a little disappointed that Tomorrow's Child etc had gone! Great attraction though! ☺

    I remember hearing this version of spaceship earth on my first trip to epcot in June of 1988 and it was awesome.

    I can’t remember if I barley remember this version as a kid or if I imagined I heard it. I feel like there were a few years when I was little that they had it. I didn’t realize at all though that the girl who introduces him is Nicole Jaff, who played Velma in some of the Scooby Doo movies. And Heather Graham North played Daphne. I might have their names mixed up actually.

    have to say after hearing all 3 narrators, WC is a distant 2nd or 3rd behind Jeremy Irons. Irons puts great drama into it, WC sounds like a computer voice, no emotion at all...

    • @gargantuaism
      @gargantuaism 5 років тому +3

      The Irons version was extraordinary and probably the greatest version ever. Cronkite is interesting because of his whole career as America's most trusted news reporter, but that Jeremy Irons' voice was absolutely perfect.

    • @abraveastronaut
      @abraveastronaut 4 роки тому +2

      The hypothetical best version would be Irons's narration over the Cronkite-era soundtrack IMO.

      4 narrators; Larry Dobkin (1982-1986), Walter Cronkite(1986-1994), Jeremy Irons(1994-2007), and Judi Dench (2008-Present)

    • @kevb7451
      @kevb7451 2 роки тому

      I wholeheartedly agree. The Jeremy Irons version is easily the best narrated

    • @kevb7451
      @kevb7451 2 роки тому

      Judi Dench does a great job narrating but I think her narration is robbed by the script being extremely dumbed down.
