Alot of hard hiking beast mode
There and back again. A nightcrawler’s holiday. 😂 My cat likes to watch the birds in the video.
If not the birds, they seem to like my headlamp beam
🚶👟👟🚶♀️👟👟⛺🌞 the notch really did look fun hope life at home is treating you good hope you're able to keep in touch with 12 really enjoy all the videos thanks a lot brother 💯💪🏆🏆🏆
We talk daily, but i do really miss being with her
You manage to find some great trail family. I missed a bunch of your videos, so I don't know how you met these two, but it brings back memories of watching you hike with the Minnesotans on the CDT. 😎👍
That crew was so fun to hike with
That section of trail looks like a hellscape. But maybe it's just the video cuts. And you were clearly having fun anyway.
Imo it's the most fun 1 mile of the trail
Well, I've been waiting TEN months for Crawler to get here. Alright, crawl Crawler crawl. You're the man. If you drop your phone in there, it's gone forever.
There was a kid we met in Gorum on our second visit who dropped his phone in the privy at one of the huts. They're deep and full, but he went underneath and dug that thing out.
Thanks for the video and the views
New mission statement for the ATC, "Truffles for Muggles". I love it!
Ps...... NC, you might want to seek some counseling for your mica fixation.
Yeah, I did carry out a pretty big bag of the stuff
your hind quarters must be ripped like a centaur...just amazing what you endured and even more amazing is that this is your second round of the ATC; so you knew what you were getting yourself into, yet had the courage to do it again. Been watching you since the first year barefooting it, no less. Peace.
Thanks for hanging around so long
Hey, long time no talk, but I've been watching from the start. This is Larry, the Sandhill variety. I bought my office PC and took my laptops to the river house (no wifi). You tube and my emails had me locked out for the last couple three years to protect my privacy and my procrastination kept me from caring. Over the holiday I finally got a cell, and I had to get a new email account for that, so I'm YT alive again.
Anyway I'm enjoying your hike and hope all is well back in the real world.
Nice to have you back, Mr Sandhill. Not much has changed while you were away. I'm adapting to the matrix. It sucks pretty bad, to be honest. Knowing I won't get out again till 2026 at the earliest is grinding on me. I really really really hate Amazon, but when you have consistent 8 month gaps in your employment history, you gotta start somewhere. And those will fools hire anyone 😆
@@thenightcrawlerhikes That sucks, no 2025 hike.
I haven't worked in two and half years. After 31 years I got forced out in a coup attempt. Our Board president run three of us off, 80 years of experience between us, trying to put his wife in the top spot. It didn't work out for him or his wife. Now the part time maintenance man is the director.
I was just working part time anyway, and my wife isn't kicking too high these days, so it worked out for the best.
I slack pack 3 to 5 miles four nights a week, but haven't done any real hiking in a couple of three years.
Good luck frog. @37:15 reminds me of Rabbit by Ray Wiley Hubbard. I ask the Rabbit, are you going to make it? The rabbit said, well, I got to.
I forgot about that frog. I was tempted to save him, but I know the snake needs to eat too.
@32:15 smoking out the bear. I like it. Those trail makers are sons of bitches, no?
Glad you put a timestamp in. I was like What? A bear!? 😆
And even with a well marked trail like The AT, I'm gonna take wrong turns. Those boulder areas are a bit easier because you can generally see the marks left behind from the millions of other feet that passed through
Stupid title
It's how they're all titled. I find it descriptive enough for my taste.
