Fleet Jumps to Warp

- Long simmering project half way done.
Made in Blender and edited in Davinci.
Models are all STO.
Please be gentle with baby's first attempt at using matting.
Also thanks to my buddy Zach who was able to get the scenes from First Contact for me without the music.
Any feedback is appreciated!
"Oh I'm afraid the deflector shield will be fully operational when your friends arrive..."
Wayun to odo.
lol…turn on the repulsive magnetic shielding to mothership networks mode.
Resistance is futile, Boy.
Not for long!
That darned Emperor. SO sarcastic!!
Same flight pattern and formation as the Return of the Jedi rebel fleet; that was excellent!
Noticed that too
spotted that too
YES EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING!!!
Saw that too. Still cool, though.
I was thinking that too-excellent melding of Star Wars and Star Trek!
The cut to the First Contact scenes was unexpected, but I'm glad it was there, you did a great job! Kudos!
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
Nog: "Don't worry, my dad's over there. He'll have that shield down in time. ....Or this'll be the shortest offensive of all time."
😁😁😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
😁😁😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
The 2nd part should be given to Odo prefaced by one of his skeptical grunts.
This video is the proof that is amazing to be a fan of both Star Trek and Star Wars ;)
You and me both!
I definitely agree
Same dude. Both are awesome in their own respect.
Shields up, and may the force be with us.
Well said!
Picard, "It's a trap! All ships prepare to retreat."
Sisko, "Bateson will have that shield down. We've got to give him more time!"
We won't get another chance at this.
There's just something so appropriate about the Defiant flying in formation with Klingon Birds of Prey.
The Defiant's a fed BOP with a F ton more guns!
The Defiant is Ben Siskos mother f*#&ing pimp hand
A Sovereign, Galaxy, D'Deridex, Akira, multiple Excelsiors Mirandas BoP's Runabouts and a Defiant.
Something's about to get it.
And some Miranda classes lol. They look so out of place with the modern Starfleet ships. I'd feel safer on what I'm pretty sure are those Saber or Norway classes at like the 12 second or so mark.
@@Nicolas_Cage_Bees
Awwww...but I love the TMP era designs....and hopefully they've had upgrades!
ok, maybe the frontlines aren't the place for them anymore 🥲
@@calumscott8737Considering how the Mirandas got absolutely rekd during the Dominion War battles, and they were run by crews of 40 like mini destroyers, I would say they weren't.
@@Rendclaw I have the assumption that both - the Excelsior-Class and the Miranda-Class + the variations of both of them (Centaur for example) -- are highly modular ships that got upgraded frequently and were therefor used that long in the fleet. We see them explode a lot, and thats because the series needed to show the viewers that the task that they are doing is dangerous and that Starfleet is loosing ships. And you cant destroy everyday a Galaxy-Class ship in the show (there arent that many anyway).
Given how extensive the refit of the "original" Enterprise NCC 1701 was, I believe that they upgraded those ships constantly.
We also see the USS Lakota (Excelsior class) outfitted with quantum torpedoes and new phasers (and probably some other modifications on the shields, computersystems and even the powerplant).
Its a shame that the CGI models of the Norway- and the Steamrunner-Class were lost and never used in DS9. CGI was really expensive back in the day. Other ships that they used were low quality models ("kitbashed" - like taking litterally toys and marker pens and glue them together to make them look different).
The production budget was tiny compared to todays series.
i though you were going to say....went to a bar......
Nice, got series Return of the Jedi vibes in this Love it.
True, I don't know if I expected that the next scene would be against Cardasia or the fleet would appear over Endor in the direction of the Death Star.
Ok, now I want to see the followup where the fleet enters the enemy system, sees the enemy station’s (Terok Nor’s??) shields are still down, then realizes that enemy ships are warping in &/or decloacking from sector 47. “It’s a trap!” xD
Star Trek already did that with the Battle of the Omarion Nebula.
@@AF-nc2fc Ah right, the Romulan/Cardassian attack on the false Changeling homeworld! How could I have forgotten!
Yes, a modern recreation of that scene using the same dialogue but with modern graphics & Battle of Endor cinematography! 😆
Immediately recognizing the reference to Star Wars ROTJ, great job! Adding the scene from First Contact is a nice touch too.
I wonder if they heading towards a Borg Cube orbiting a forest moon, whose weapon systems, they've been told, are not yet operational.
the weapons systems will be installed on Tuesday...lol
Or retaking Betazed from the Dominion...
Maybe a Borg cube created by Rubik and once all 6 sides align it is fully operational.
Wonderful little cross-franchise recreation. The Defiant in place of the Millennium Falcon is clever. xD
The Return of Starfleet
I do love how you have the smaller warships go before the larger capital ships. It makes sense from a realism standpoint of course.
It also perfectly mimics the jump to Hyperspace right before the Return of the Jedi climactic assault on the 2nd Death Star. (Another comment made the initial connection, but I still think it was a great touch).
@@c182SkylaneRG I didn't even think about that!
“Small?”
@@john.highwayyes, the frigates and destroyers are smaller than the battleships and cruisers
@@Ozpawn Reference to Wolf/Riker conversation after arriving on the Enterprise bridge in First Contact
Dominion : Uh oh
Never before has a single video made me decide to subscribe to a channel so quickly! Awesome work! 0:09 "the Defiant looks like Millennium Falco.... oh wait...." 😊
Just noticed the different colored warp flashes: orange for Klingons, green for Romulans
I always thought the battle to retake DS9 should have been a crossover film.
EPIC!
That would have been epic
"You've pissed off the wrong Alpha Quadrant.."
return of the federation
Nice Fleet of Dominion War era
All craft! Prepare to jump into hyperspace on my mark!
I'm elated that this clip had at least 1 Romulan warbird in the fleet.
Cool Return of the Jedi style fleet fly through
Agreed!
That....was pretty cool!
Can't wait to see more/follow up from that!
Very nice always wanted to see the enterprise in more fleet battles wish she was in DS9 just for the very last battle in season 7 i remember hearing that the enterprise was part of the fleet the took on the breen when they attacked earth even seeing that would have been pretty epic but o well
From what I have gleaned from comments in other videoed the Enterprise E served more as an elite solo unit, which kind of fits their skill set
My only complaint about Nu and modern Trek -- there's rarely an audible bang with the white warp flash (if the flash is even there!). Getting it a couple dozen here is music to my ears.
Intresting considering EVE Online have both a flash and a certain sound when ships either enter or come out of warp
I love all of that and how the ship distorts or stretches' out as it warps, Nu/Modern Trek just had ships appear like it was hyperspace or jumpdrives.
I just loved the way that the Defiant banked around the larger ships and straight past the Enterprise’s starboard nacelle which was way larger than she was! Tough little ship! I sense that Commander Dax was at the helm! 👍
I don't like how there is any banking. Banking won't happen in outer space.
Little ??
@@csf1757ha ha I see what you did there. Or were you actually serious!? 🤔
@@romangeneral23🤣 you do remember how to fire phasers?
Unfortunately she had been demoted to coffee shop owner at this stage.
The poor souls aboard those 3 runabouts, they won't last 15 seconds in a fleet engagement lol
Tip of the hat towards Return of the Jedi's fleet jump to hyper space was a nice touch!
I imagine them doing this during the Dominion War
THAT WAS AWESOME, cause it was Star Trek 🖖😂
Ah I see, all the escort class ships warp out first followed by the tanks and support ships!
Makes sense. You send out your subs and destroyer screens first to scout out the enemy and if lucky get some torpedoes into his capital ships or force him to break up his formation with evasive maneuvers.
This has a " LET'S GO WHUP SOME ASS!" feeling to it! Most Excellent! (25 November 2023)
That Sovereign flypast is f****** AMAZING! 👍👏
Outstanding! Proof that fans always know better than even the people who make the movies/shows. Lovely re-interpretation of both Return of the Jedi and Star Trek: First Contact/DS9.
I love this so much. Nice nod to ROTJ. The Allied Fleet looking to repel the Dominion.
Borg: Now witness the power of this fully armed cube!
This is what i wanted how canon combined fleet's warp out is really cool.
Its masterpiece.
Now that was cool. It was a very Star Wars fleet jump in Return Of The Jedi!
Hell yeah! I don't know whose ass we're kick'n...but...LET'S FUCKING...GOOOOOOOOO!
Whos leading that fleer picard and the enterprise ill take one of those galaxy class ships. Great editing by the way
Absolutely! Freaking! Brilliant!😮🤯😁
Wow, and Music from DS9 sacrifice of angels
That's pretty cool I love it
Frame Shift drive charging........4,3,2,1 Engage.
Damn I haven't played Elite Dangerous in a while....
This definitely looks like something DS9 could've used during the Dominion War.
I like that the size of the defiant is even inconsistent as hell in this video :D ( 0:10 ...compared to the Sovereigns Nacelle, that would make the defiant around 50m long..at most)
I'm glad that the show set that precedent. Made things a lot easier.
This made me giddy. Dominion War alliance fleet!
This reminds me of the stuff me and my friends in high school WISH we could have done back in 2002! Me and a friend had a copy of some 3D software, but even rendering a sphere back then took 5 minutes lol. I made some pretty bad scenes with ships, mostly we'd end up making back stories and hand drawing ship designs...
This work is great, thanks for posting!
5 minutes. Bah. Back in the early 90s a sphere took an hour to render.
New subscriber, right there. Very, very clever to intercut the First Contact footage and also sub your footage into the viewscreen view on the bridge. Very reminiscent of DS9.
ok i got to admit...THAT WAS SWEEEEEET !!!
Now this is Star Trekkin'!
This is really cool, I also like how you blended live-action clips into the scene for that extra-realism.
I was in the Elite Dangerous distant worlds expedition a couple of years ago. I didn't do the whole journey but I wanted to see the other commanders off. There were about 30 other ships in the same instance and we all jumped together. It was majestic
What.... No Hospital ship....going to need a hospital ship.... /s
But, Seriously....... Good Show/posting!!! For those who are nit-picking....I don't see THEM posting their content.
All that was missing was a May La Forge be with you
*IT'S A TRAP!!!!*😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I love this. Now all we need is a battle. This is epic!
Do it again, with the ROTJ music overlaid! Loved this.
I assume this is a short warpjump into a battlezone, but something that was pointed out as an error in First Contact: Why go Red Alert when you still need to travel for hours from the Romulan Neutral zone to Sol?
I would surmise that you'll need to maintain a certain amount of alertness even if the actual battle is supposedly taking place hours or even days away from where you are, because a. You might actually catch up to the battle or b. The battle might actually catch up to you somewhere along the line in the form of an ambush.
plot twist: when they arrive, they found a moon-liked base station on construction!
I don't know but those jump into warp feels much more satisfying than the cgi jumps of disco trek
I do feel sorry for all those starships who can't go faster than warp 5 because otherwise those runabouts will be like bugs on the windshield.
WOW that was seriously Amazing
Watch this dozens of times still love it
Ah, someone liked Star Wars....Wonderful
Dang, someone got skills. lol
And complete with the music score from "Sacrifice of Angels"
Genius!!❤❤❤ I love this!
0:16, I know that shot, lmao.
Very cool, can't wait to see the finish work, but seriously this looks amazing
Set course for the Endor System, maximum warp.
So sad we never saw a fleet jump to warp just like this in actual Trek (The rubbish after Enterprise doesn't count).
Lol, its Star Wars now, with the Millenium Defiant. 🙄
Missed opportunity for DS9 creators.
That was Awesome! and how the StarShip Enterprise was lead ship!
Phenomenal work bro, really stunning.
So, did they simply use the same sequences as the attack on the 2nd Deathstar but just change the ship models?
Admiral we are in position, all fighters accounted for.
Proceed with the countdown. All groups assume attack coordinates.
All craft, prepare to jump into hyperspace on my mark.
Alright standby....
Sisko: All wings report in:
Runabout: Danube Leader standing by
Attack Fighter: Gamma Leader standing by
Bird of Prey: Gorkon Leader, standing by!
Runabout: Raise shields and move into an attack posture...
This is so Return Of The Jedi and i love it!
BADASS! WELL DONE! (25 November 2023)
That was really cool stuff!!! Great Job!!!!!
Awesome - you did a great job!
This just makes me wish the enterprise was part of the fight in the Dominion War. Amazing job on the animation!
Now, the question is how will Starfleet handle a fully ARMED and OPERATIONAL Battle station.
I started watching, and thought, "This is gorgeous. So crisp and clean. Is this from Voyager? Looks newer than that." then I saw the description, lol :)
Who drew the short straws and got Runabout duty? 😂
Geez, I wonder what inspired this?
Picard is going to kick some Dominion ass!
why does this have not millions of views?
Sisko: Get as close as you can and engage the Jemhadar at point blank range
Data: Captain at that range our shields won't last long
Picard: we'll last longer against the Domonion than the Breen, and we might just might thin their numbers
Martok: Who knew the Federation had guts?
That's one of the best warp scenes I've ever seen...damnnn!
Is it from star trek armarda or one of them games? Feels familiar.
It's actually based on the scene in ROTJ where the rebels prepare to attack the 2nd Death Star.
Our deeds will be worthy of songs and stories! Come my brothers and sisters! Glory and Honor await us! Q'pla!!! (30 November 2023)
"That was pretty bad ass, great job!"
i wish voyager had been with this fleet
Me, too!
Thanks. That was fun. Of course, now you need the comedy moments, a stragglers crappy attempt to keep up..plutters to a halt..trailing...burning stuff..and parts, behind. Meanwhile, along the path of the armada..a piddly sized private cruiser, the crew in the middle of a meal..ends tossed and flipped around. Seconds later..they're covered in food..some dangling from the ceiling lights..bewildered, as someone says.."What the hell was that?".
Alright, you got me hooked.
Nice job
