I lost my son in August of this year, and this song just seems to walk me through the short beautiful time my wife and I spent with him. She carried him in the beginning of his life as I carried him to rest in his passing. We need artists like these select few that can truly stir the depths of are imaginations.

Happy birthday, my forever baby. I'll check in next year as always to listen to your song. Sleep now my love. Papa and Mama love you to the moon and back.

Hello again, my darling. Today marks another year of your passing. I can only bare to your song once a year. Your mother and I carry your memory everywhere with us always..close like a whisper in a wind storm. Mama and papa love you to the moon and back baby. Sleep well.....until we meet again.

This is such a genius song, the stringed instrument chords provide amazing tension and release

A reviewer said this was sung by Amber Coffman, but I thought the liner notes said Angel Deradoorian sings it. Both are wonderful and lovely singers, but this performance is exceptionally good, and the singer deserves credit.

When I first met my current boyfriend of two years, he made me a CD with this song on it. I played it over and over again and every time it ended I was sure I was deeper in love with him. I move away on tuesday and we're breaking up because of the distance. I'm pretty much torturing myself by revisiting this memory.

    LYRICS:
    Geranium kisser
Skin like silk and face like glass
Don't confront me with my failures
Kiss me with your mouth open
For your love, better than wine
For your cologne is really fragrant
Call on me, call on me, call on me
Your hair is like an eagle
Your two eyes are like two doves
But our bed is like a failure
All day up in the valley
At the waning of the light
To the chamber that conceived me
Call on me, call on me, call on me
    Geranium killer
Throat of soil of and mind like stone
Please don't defend a silver lining
Around the halo of what is already shining
When all the planets are aligning
For an afternoon that's never ending
Call on me, call on me, call on me

Song of the day 07.12.2017/ this is the beginning then, of that never-ending afternoon. Here’s to taking it easy. The silver lines are mixed in with the booming tufts of clouds that care nothing for rain. I guess that’s what true victory must be: you’re too tired to celebrate. There’s no one here to hold me at the finish line...

would any "real musician"/composer be so kind as to elucidate what is going on with those moments that feel like time signature changes -- or nearly-changes? it screws up my ability to tap along with the beat, but it is also awesome, but I would like to understand it better so that I can actually tap along with the beat... :) (ex: 0:17, 0:41, etc.)

I know what you're talking about but I can't figure out how it's done. They do something similar in the beginning of "Up in Hudson" and I found that I couldn't exactly replicate it when I tried to arrange it.
