Let's hope the R36 arrives as a hybridized and improved version of the R35 and not as a EV. That would be the worst zonk for the GT-R legacy. I can't believe Nissan hasn't even bothered to integrate the blinker into the DRL. Add LED reverse lights & led interior lights, led rear turn signal & electronic E brake ( though some might like the traditional to pull on)

First of all, I would like to thank Raitis Rides for the excellent review. I love the GTR and Nissan Brand. The R35 were available during 2008 in the US market and all other sport cars brands were scared of the performance of the unit. I know is the end of production and I was able to buy one of the 2024 GTR in Bayside Blue color. I hope Nissan create or design a new platform with gasoline turbo engine instead of battery. It's crazy that 16 years later and this car is still beautiful 😍. Blue on sky blue looks good, GTR all day! Nissan, you gotta do better with that screen and the backup camera.
The GT-R was basically the first super car to brake every standard. From it being big and heavy, but fast, having at that time so much “tech” that people criticized it because it had no driver engagement. Being one of the first production cars to have a DCT. At that time cars with twice and even three times the price where being blown out of the water by a Datsun. The R35 like it’s predecessors, it will remain a legend.
I respect that the car is on an old platform but make the screen a little bigger, make it carbon fiber buttons,modern features, and carbon fiber or metal paddles, and a frameless mirror is all I’m asking. Love how everything else is high quality though and has the old school feel at the same time.
Never underestimate the best that the Japanese can build. If I could only have two cars in my garage it would be a Nissan GT-R and a Toyota Land Cruiser.
If I had to pick between the R34 and 35 I would pick the R34 1 because it’s a manual 2 it’s right hand drive 3 overall design of the body my paint of choice is the Midnight Purple 3 I actually bought a R34 and I’m excited for delivery day

In all these years the couldn't upgrade the infotainment system display and the reverse cameras. No doubt this is a fantastic car but it's not cheap.
They upgraded it a few years ago but never to a level you would expect with the price tag
