Just want to say a big thank you from you & Switch And Click for showing the love of this keyboard to me. I'm currently typing on it now with the silver switches. I went with this over the ASUS falchion and I'm so glad I did.
Keyboard noob here but I just started using a Miya pro Beijing Opera atm with Bluetooth & mx browns. Purchased based on your recommendation (and switch & click's videos), really really love the keyboard. Had a chance to try the EC switches since I also purchased a VA108M Koi with EC Rosery switches. I wasn't sure if I wanted full size or not but these switches are a dream to type on compared to cherry mx speeds. Unfortunately those switches aren't available on a wireless board but I think I'll sell the 108 and pick up another Miya pro wired with EC Sakura switches. As someone who's only ever used standard Corsair gaming boards (k95 plat being the most recent) I really appreciate the time and effort put into this video, it's helped me find such a great product! It's rare to find youtubers with genuine enthusiasm that isn't over the top, thanks for the videos, I'll continue to check out your content in future. P.S gotta be the red lights for that contrast, can't really go wrong with good old red, white & black

Please 🙏🏻 I love the « muffled » sound of the Koi white/red one, which switches are on ? Gonna buy a Varmila (👍🏻) for sure, lastly have to choose between EC Sakura and … your answer 😁 to get closest « muffled » sound. Hope you’ll answer..
I have a MIYA PRo Moonlight (that kind of old 70s or 80s color scheme is really nice btw) and how it sounds did strike me the most. The reason for that is that there is not a single screw in the entire keyboard. When on a more standard keyboard you generally have screws to keep the PCB in place, well that is not the case on the MIYA Pro. The Metal plate is held in place by the switches like on any standard keyboard, but the PCB itself rests on a thick foam layer in the bottom of the case, and is trapped between the top and lower part of the case that stick together thanks to plastic clips (again, no screws here. The Varmilo original version of this design, the VA68 (A or M depending on the case material, Magnesium or Aluminium) use screws however). That give that keed a very muted / thocky sound, even on non silent or non lubed switches, because most of the higher pitch sounds are absorbed into the foam layer and very few of the vibrations due to the strokes are transmitted into the case (and even then, the case is plastic and will absorb a bit more vibrations than metal, the fact that there is no screws helps even more)
I got the bejing opera and holy moly I don't regret one cent of spending my money. It is way to good. The feeling is such an upgrade from my last keyboard. I just love it.
