LIVE update on Hurricane Eta which has been named in the eastern Gulf of Mexico with Hurricane Hunter aircraft measuring a min pressure down to 983 mb! Tornado threat increasing for Tampa, FL area with dominant convective band drifting toward the area. TORNADO WATCH is in effect for threat of tornadic supercells embedded within this line and forming as renegades over western FL. I will be LIVE on this tornado threat shortly.

Reed, this is a weak storm and building codes in Florida are stronger than other parts of the country. People here don't usually prep unless it hits a cat 3 or higher. The news always acts like the slightest storm is the end of the world while fear mongering. I can't hear your audio and hopefully you are not fear mongering yourself. I am directly it this storms path and enjoying the breeze. Both the front and back doors are open and windows. Finally no need for a air conditioner here. I know tomorrow will be worse or very late tonight but it's still a weak storm. Yes I been through every catagory of Hurricane including 3 catagory 4s and 2 cat 5s. The other 17 was cat 3 and below with living on the islands and south florida. I just don't believe people should be fear mongered in this one and just enjoy it. If it was a dangerous storm for florida, I would say or alot in Florida would say but frankly it's a enjoyable joke at best.

You obviously don't have experience in Hurricanes. No anything under a cat 2, people actually prepare for. It's not a serious storm.
