Pretty good video, but I think it’s not removed. Xtreme 3 and Pulse 5 still have Low Frequency Mode, I think they just changed the combination on some speakers 🤔
In my opinion this is a good thing. Before some idiot replys to this saying I'm a hater I've owned a Charge 4 and I own a Charge 5 currently. LFM is just a DSP turn off, not a dedicated mode and it damages the speaker with constant use.
@@bluetoothbasstester Well it's theoretically bass, but is so uncontrolled and distorted that it sounds terrible, bass quality is a thing, and LFM is the worst sounding bass I've ever heard
I have a Charge 5, it's probably a later build with the firmware update, it doesn't have LFM, but I found a solution where I can listen to my downloaded music at high volumes with good bass response... First I install the JBL Portable App and turn the bass up to the max, but leave the other 2 at medium.. Then I simply reformat my music with 200% volume using Format Factory... Now I listen to my reformatted music at 50% volume on my charge 5, the highs sound just as loud as if it were playing the unformatted music at 100%% volume, but the bass is still there, it doesn't drop off because at 50% volume, I haven't passed the threshold where the jbl firmware automatically prevents bass from increasing as the volume is increased.. It bumps like crazy, crystal clear sound, with very good bass..❤❤❤
You can use low frequency mode LFM but do not turn the volume up more than 70% I have been using it at 50-70% with LFM for 2 years now no problem. Drivers still good. If I use it at full volume I don’t use LFM
I want to buy a the boombox 3 but i want to make sure if i buy a lower software version would it have lfm still ? I have the v2 right now and it does has it
They should had release an update for the Charge 4, Pulse 4, Flip 4, Flip 5, Pulse 3 to remove it, personaly I do not like that mode, it just make the sound worse
for some reason on my F6 i tried partyboost and minus for a couple of seconds then my speaker started saying 0690 i have no idea what this means but i will test it but turns out it is your firmware version

@@aswinfrn I don’t know… On Pulse 5 it’s minus and plus… I think we will never find that out :(

Xtreme 4 has it
I use my charge 4 on LFM not even Ralph valum
I love JBL product 🥰
That's why they removed the low frequency mode to reduce the bolt's attached to the jbl because that also causes damage
Here from the short 🙂
