    It's embarrassing that I haven't figured this out before...
    Thanks for sharing!

    I really really wish some companies would stop making connectors, just to reduce the number. I see the need for a "few" 2-4 tops. It would really help simplify the hobby for all experience levels. We have plenty to mod and adjust without sorting connectors. It's a small thing really but it's one less thing in a hobby that has so many things to keep track of. Just my thoughts on the subject.

      I am 100% agree with you, many companies try to impose us their connectors and make the choice of the LIPO so tricky :(

      Yes, the forced me to become an awesome solderer! Lol. If you can solder a ec3 you can solder anything. Xt60's are so much more easy to work on

      Right on. I've always been more of a nitro guy and ashamed to say my Axials still have Tamiya's on them. I can't decide on Deans or Traxxas HC.

      How can i easily connect a esc with XT60 with 2 battery packs in series which uses 5,5 mm bullet connections? Nice channel btw.

    I heard this, but really appreciate the demo. Now I can buy in confidence.

    Great tip, Came here to check. I couldn't remember which way this worked. Might be buying a model with the XT60.

    I'm away from home so can't check but does this work the other way around as well?
    All my 3s lipos are XT60 but I have just received a new Parkzone Sukhoi 29 Safe and this has an EC3 connector.

    • @7demo7review
      @7demo7review  9 років тому

      You will need a short bit of wire to connect the two if I'm not mistaken. That's because of the ec3's countersunk connections

    EXCELLENT vid. Ok, so to make sure I'm trackin w/ you....you're changin over to XT60's from Deans? Why not EC3's? Just excess XT60's or you prefer them vs EC3's?

      I have ex3's on all my quads but am putting xt60's on them so I can use batteries with either plug

    Can ic3 go into xt60?

  • @infxrnocryptical9739
    @infxrnocryptical9739 5 років тому

    My EC3 connectors won’t go in fully. It just goes in 40% then just stops. Btw it’s a ec3 to Tamiya adapter

    Bad tip there is over 1mm difference between the pin centres don't expect full contact and full 60amp capability plug in like this.

    • @7demo7review
      @7demo7review  6 років тому +1

      I’m using this plug on a long rang airplane with less than 25a - haven’t had a problem

    • @reedy93
      @reedy93 6 років тому +2

      Not saying it does not work just that if you are pushing the amp limit on the connector it could fail better to change it. noticed your EC3 connector has a lot of arch damage would be a shame to crash your quad/plane for price of a connector.

    Why not just cut and solder your LIPO with the good connector?
    Fact is it's more easy to solder a LIPO with XT60 even i prefer far away more the Deans connectors lol
