If it’s any consolation, Mr Landreth, as a Northerner in the bit of England about an hour north of London (i.e. 2.5 hours from home) I get accent abuse on a daily basis from locals here as well as people I’ve known for decades. It never grows old. For them. All this in a country you can traverse in less time than getting from one region of Canada to the next. Love these shows, guys. Great to hear people just chatting around this subject we all love rather than ramming new products down the internet at the viewer. Keep up the great work. 👏🏻
Love the Canadianisms !........well I'm Canadian too but I still love them. The Brothers Landreth's music is among my favorite music of EVER, no bs. I'm super proud they are Canadian.
Great show. I’ve only ever used or heard other people use the term “partscaster” to describe an instrument assembled from prefabricated parts such as Warmouth bodies and necks etc. Strat and Tele style guitars from companies other than Fender don’t normally get referred to that way. At least in my experience. Looking forward to seeing the EB Rooster guitars though!
My favourite offset is the Valiant Jupiter. * Jazzmaster shape * Hardtail * Painted headstock * Humbuckers * Mine does not have fancy switches. That said, I have been telling Fender literally FOR YEARS to give us a production run of the Jim Root sandblasted Jazzmaster. I would preorder that the instant it is announced.
With the accent thing. Id like to say on record that although I wasnt made fun of, alot of my conversation when I was in Alberta (from Indiana, USA) was about mine or the other persons accent. (Also I noticed a surprising amount of Scottish people there? Idk) I really enjoy when its productive conversation but I can agree that the whole "say this" thing is pretty wild. Im glad theres others that are kind of tired of that part of the conversation.
You guys need to work on your customer service. I’ve been trying to figure out what’s wrong with my g8 pedal and nobody will return my phone calls/emails/chat messages.
On the Americans pointing out the Canadian dialect thing, nothing makes me more infuriated (within the context of this scenario) than them mocking the way we say "sorry". Like bitch it's what we're known for, we *define* the pronunciation of sorry. So say sorry like a Canadian, say it right. Anyways lovely story about the guitar. So many Luthiers & Builders undervalue themselves & their work and, whilst that's great for us on a budget or wanting super specific custom stuff, it's always disheartening when someone's humbleness doesn't let them see their worth.
Been enjoying this series so much. Keep it up!
New season of shoresy is wild lol
Oh ya bahd!
Cool guitar! Enjoying the show fellas.
Love it guys keep up these ace videos

It’s a shame they aren’t more well known! Hopefully more people get to hear them.
