Would learning those 2 be good for white belt bjj ( no wrestling background ) ? I feel like standing guys collar tie hard often some guys have decent snapdown and footsweep but not many have good underhook defense, so seems good to learn those 2 huh 🤔
Im aware of the whizzer kick but at the same time i also really like the way yazdani uses his hips with the knee picks and steps behind him. Could you possibly do a video on the difference and what makes his version more affective than most people when they step behind?
Despite the Funky man not being soo great at punching or taking punches, he is still a world class wrestler & has good fight IQ. I'd take advice from him any time on anything that has to do with wrestling, no questions. He's like a Funky Daniel Cormier! lol
I have a Question doesnt matter who gives the answer but i will be really really thanksfull if you can answer me... I wnna ask Mr Askren some Question but i really dont know how i can get a hold of this amazing human beeing... does someone know how i can contact him just simple short Questions like a paparazzi
Sweet baby jesus what a great vid - simple, effective, and points out the typical errors we all make in a minute flat. Props to the Funky One.
I've been working the underhook to high single or knee pick for about 6 months now for jiu jitsu. Awesome techniques. Great video.

His ability to take a knee to the head is also top notch
