It always pays to place a smol peppercorn-sized blob of thermal paste in the middle of the cpu, then mount and tighten; then disassemble and inspect whether it makes proper contact. If it's okay then you can reapply paste with a normal amount.
Does the mounting kit come with the AIO? Do I have to buy it seperate? If I have to buy separately what should I do, because the Amazon page is out of stock, and I don’t know when it’ll come into stock.
We had ordered ours on amazon when they had the LGA 1700 mounting kit in stock, I'm not sure if they are currently shipping it with the cooler or not, sorry
@@KLEEBZTECH i went years with just the cooler with comes with cpu but looking to upgrade as it can get hot in there these days but don’t want to break the bank
What are the small screws for? I want to do a push pull config. will it come with enough screws for that?,or can i use case fan screws to ad the additional fans to the rad?
There are a lot of variables when it comes to testing, but assuming your case has decent airflow, a 240mm radiator should be more than enough for a 12600k
The RGB would either plug into the RGB on the motherboard if it has it or you can plug into the supplied controller which then plugs into SATA for power.
The 1700 mounting kit came with little plastic washers for the block screws and the diagram didn't show them. You didn't use them so I'll do the same. Good, clear explanation! Thanks!
Some models need the washers!!! I’m currently troubleshooting the LG1700 mounting bracket that came with the id 280mm aio. The bracket that that mounts to the pump header is in two pieces that have to be attached with screws. I can’t get it to seat in place, it’s like it needs washers or something else that I’m missing. So THANK YOU for posting this, I was wondering what those little plastic washers were for :). Amateur Tip: first time pc builder here and I can’t stress this enough. You will be excited and possibly feeling happiness which could shock your system and cause you to make bonehead mistakes. You will want to open all the boxes to see all the goodies. Label a ziplock bag or bowl with the part you are opening then put all screws, wires and instructions in that labeled bag.
this had all the answers i was looking for, thank you!!
Your video saved me with the Pinkflow since they are so similar!

Do you think it would make a difference if I plugged the fans into a hub instead of using the splitter? Also, is the sata cable used at all?
So helpful! Thank you
I just came here to get an idea of why my AIO might not be working and instantly thought shit “did I pull the plastic off the cooling plate?”
Did you? It happens.
@@KLEEBZTECH hahahaha no I did not. Embarrassing but could be something worse you know?
@@rorylynch1203 I won't mention how many times I've tried to figure out why a computer won't boot just to realize it wasn't plugged in
@@KLEEBZTECH haha I just did that today too. I gotta slow down and not immediately react 😂
Thanks this was really helpful
You are very welcome!
I have the same board as in this video, why didn’t you plug the pump to the AIO pump header over top the m.2
I have an Msi motherboard when I turn on my pc the lights on the fans come on but on the cooler itself the emblem doesn’t light up how do I fix?
Thanks for the video! You use 2 splitters, are they in the original package with the AIO or do I have to buy them separately? Thanks.
Ours were included in the box with our aio
@@kylekleeberg6422 Thanks for the quick response!

@@KLEEBZTECH That’s alright then, I’ll just use the stock cooler for my i5 until I can get the mounting kit

going to buy this to upgrade my cooling system. would you say this is still worth it in 2024?
Probably. Although I have not kept up to the latest ones recently.

its for radiator if u want to mount it on front of the case
Can you do a video benchmarking with a 12600k? I want to see what the performance is

Really helpful video! Thx
Glad it helped!
Does this aio come with both a fan splitter and a rgb spiltter?
Thank you so much!
Anyone know where I can get replacement stand off screws for this device? I snap the screw off by applying to much pressure.
Contact tech support. They should send you a replacement.
@@billywild5440 I did and they sent them. Thanks

I have an amd 5
Where do I get a rgb splitter
does it fit in NXZT G12?
my mobo doesn’t have an opt header, where do i plug that cable in?

hello, i'm using ID Cooling Iceflow and wanna upgrade to Intel 12th gen (LGA 1700), is it still compatible too on Intel B660 motherboard ?
Yes it should work on any b660 board with the correct mounting kit
Wait... zoomflow supports lga 1700????
With the new mounting kit, yes
Such beautiful hands.
Uncle Jack from Always Sunny would probably agree
