In Spain if you run towards pigeons, they fly away scared. When I was in Brighton, I ran towards a seagull and it looked me straight in the eye: unbothered, uncaring. I've never seen such a powerful bird.
Then you have not encountered Canada geese, those things are manifestation of whatever meanness and bitterness that Canadians undoubtedly extracted out of themselves to remain nice as they are.
I usually cary a umbrella with me so if any damm seagull come close i would whack them with it

I really like this UK-version! To be honest,- even more, than original US-version. And this posh leader of the program is just so charming :)
I don't understand why some people are just so mean to this show, the original is coming back so why can't we just enjoy this in the meantime. At least offer some constructive criticism instead of just saying you hate it. I love the American version but I also like this one. I can enjoy both and focus on what makes each show entertaining to watch. Plus this show also helps the wait for the American version feel shorter. As someone who is not British, it is nice seeing what a whole different country has to offer when it comes to food.

That’s how it always is for better or worse. Look at Top Gear US and UK or The Office US vs UK. People just feel very proprietary about their media and just trash other versions rather than do any proper criticism or improvements

Taking a few beans from a single tree may not harm it, but we know thats not whats happening. taking more than is sustainable to the extremely fragile ecosystem, is what's made this and every other rare plant, endangered.

I went Belgium last month, stuffed my face with chocolate! In Grand Place in Brussels they have a whole town full of chocolatiers, where you see the whole process for luxury chocolate. Best chocolate I've had in my life!
