Six of crows is my all time favorite series ever. The characters are so compelling and the humor is AMAZING! I’ve rare, ysmiled physically while reading, but this made me I totally want to read an Ember in the Ashes,Strange the Dreamer, and the Gilded Wolves now, after I finish six of crows series and shadow and bone!
If you are a true fantasy fan, then you should definitely read SCARLETT LOST IN THE FIVE LANDS by Rajendra Sarilla. It has powerful female characters, intimidating villains, dragons, and a magic school too. A complete fantasy package. It also deals with bullying since the titular character Scarlett is constantly bullied for being different. It is the first fantasy book that i came across which has a powerful female lead without needing to have a super powerful boyfriend to save her.

I haven't read any YA novels so I'm not sure it's for me, but I really love the cover art of YA books in general which kind of makes me want to read them. I feel like adult fantasy covers are more bound to traditional fantasy book design which can be a bit dull (not always), where YA feels much more modern and unrestrained from past art design, if that makes sense. 🙂

It's a middle grade urban fantasy about a twelve year-old Irish girl who becomes the apprentice of a magical detective who just so happens to be an animated skeleton. It's fun, it's witty, it's hilarious, it's dark and disturbing, it's sometimes incredibly emotional. The characters are to die for, the world is intriguing, and the plot is one of the most intricately-constructed I have ever read. Every single plot point - no matter how minor - is circled back to at some later point in the series.
Wonders of the Invisible World by Christopher Barzak is my favourite standalone - possibly my favourite book of all time. The Tarot Sequence by K. D. Edwards. An adult urban fantasy set in the city of New Atlantis, which is ruled by creatures of immense magical power called Arcana, who tarot cards are based on. It follows Rune Saint John, last remaining heir to the Sun Throne, whose entire family was slaughtered when he was fifteen. Now Rune works as a mercenary to get by. He is hired to investigate the disappearance of Addam Saint Nicholas, the son of Lady Justice, and gets roped into agreeing to protect another Arcana heir, Matthias Saint Valentine, until he turns 21. The Savage Song sounds amazing. I'm so looking forward to Winterkeep (Graceling #4); love how passionate you are about the stories you recommend..
YA fantasy books have such stunning covers, they're my favorite books to buy 🥲
Now i want to read the gilded wolves, the winner's curse and an ember in the ashes even more!
I can’t stop getting distracted from all your books HOW DO YOU HAVE SO MANY?! 😭😭 I’m so jealous
Thank you for sharing your favorites - made me look into a few books I didn't know existed before :)
OMG YES ive literally never seen anyone talk about the graceling series, literally my favourite books ever like if you havent read it i feel bad for you

This Savage Song is fantastic! I read it this month for my Schwabtober reading vlog lol and I am waiting on the 2nd book to come in the mail so I can read it as well.
I want to read the number of ashes but I I'm hesitant because I really don't like love triangles....except that is the book orderly go to one in the sense that will it be something refreshing or the same old YA trope
Did you hear that a new book is coming out in the graceling world??!! I’m soo excited!
I did! It's very exciting, I can't wait 😍
