Can you start putting the books you talk about in the description ? I like having a clear cut list to look at when I get to the bookstore ! I usually just put the books that sound good in my notes but it would be easier to screenshot the description ❤️❤️❤️ love you Hannah
Giannah Golden yes please! I’d love a list! I always screenshot your videos at the books I want to read but it would be so much easier to do just one screenshot!
Yay! Giannah, thank you for making this request, it'll help me for the same reason! And thank you Hannah for being willing to go that extra step for us ♡♡♡
I have heard of this book and I want to read it so bad. I'm only fourteen and I can't buy it. I actually live in El Paso and my family grew up here. I love when books, or movie, or anything is set here because I feel like most things take place in huge cities I have no knowledge of.
Aliyah Mckoy aw, that's okay, i read the book when i was 16 even though i don't think the age mattes here, but it'd be better to read it after your early teen years :) Also, wow, you live in El Paso?! ❤ You'll definitely enjoy the book even better now; go for it in the future, you'll _not_ regret it. I mean, i picked it up on a whim & now it's my all time favourite book. *:))*
I haven't read enough to have a whole list but some that I would include would definitely be The Perks of Being A Wallflower, The Bridge to terebithia (is that YA idno lol), Simon vs the Homo Sapien Agenda, and the secret life of bees (but idno if that's YA again lol). Also Call me by your name but I think that's adult.
Also I'm currently reading Six of Crows and plan (just after watching this) to read Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe NEXT so that might be 2 more onto that list
Iandigo I actually wasn’t a big fan of perks cause they just seemed to rush through the topics that are very important like rape, anxiety, depression in duck a short time
I remember reading it when I was in 6th grade, which WOW, it just shocks me now, I was way too young to read that. But I think that reading it at such a young age really helped me feel like I was not alone, and to have a reality check on how wrong certain situations I had been in were. Definitely give my respects to that book and Stephen Chbosky,. It helped me a lot. But, yeah! I love that book!
Ickle Diddykins I was reading that book last year at 2am while my cousins were sleeping in bed beside me the night before her communion and one of them woke up because I was crying so hard
The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue The Sun is also a Star Carry On Before the Devil Breaks You ( from The Diviners ) Eliza and her Monsters The Weight of Feathers An Ember in the Ashes The Perks of being a Wallflower Our Dark Duet (from the Monsters of Verity) Clockwork Princess (from the Infernal Devices) Strange the Dreamer Crooked Kingdom (From Six of Crows) The Strange and beautiful sorrows of Ava Lavender Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the Universe Turtles All The Way Down
I do this except instead of putting it on goodreads I ordered all of them from the library. Now I have twelve books coming my way and some of the, will be set aside. Only the best will make it through! I’ll pick up the ones that didn’t later. When I go on these splurges I have to go back to pick the rejected books. It’s not that I didn’t like them it’s just that they got overshadowed.
I recommend the App El Libro Total. The book that contains everything and everyone will be very beneficial to you, and remember that those who love reading have everything at their fingertips.
I absolutely ADORE Turtles all the way down, I feel like not enough people have read and am constantly recommending to people I know because it's just so beautfiul

Honestly I would have never gotten A Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue if it wasn't for BookTube, (actually your channel in particular) because fiction generally isn't my thing, but hearing you rave about it so much made me really want to get it. I finally ordered it last week, and it got here yesterday! I'm so excited to finally be picking it up! Also, SO HAPPY that Crooked Kingdom is on here because it is my all time favorite book, and the Six of Crows duology is my all time favorite series
After hearing you talk about these books! I LITERALLY want to read all of them! And yes... Totally agree that The Perks Of Being a Wallflower is a YA classic!
Oh man I just added so many of these to my to-read list! Thanks for sharing. I hope you do an updated version of this soon! Maybe your favorite standalone novels? I always struggle with keeping up with so many series (and remembering what is what by the time new books come out!)
the way you talk and describe every book makes me want to read all of them. we can see through the way you talk how much you love these books. i love you hanna♥️

You are the only booktuber that I follow and you've helped me to get out of the biggest reading slump ever, I have so many books on my TBR and they are mostly books that you have recommended. You are one of my favourite UA-camrs ever and I am so happy I found your channel 💕
I HAD NO IDEA LIBBA BRAY HAD OTHER BOOKS! The Gemma Doyle trilogy was one of my all time favourites when I was younger, but in the many years I have been in a reading funk I missed a lot of books etc I came across your video to find ideas for more books to get into as I am reading more again, and I’m so inspired and keen from so many of the ones you talk about!
Omg Clockwork Princess. I remember my mom was starting to get worried because everytime she came into my room she found a sobbing mess. She was like "U sure it's only because of that book? Is something else up?" and I struggled because how do you explain to your mom that your whole life right now basically revolves around these characters and their beautiful heartbreaking relationships? But let's be honest, who did not have that experience with that book? :D
Hi! I know this was a long time ago but... I want to know if in order to read (and understand) The Infernal Devices series I have to read The Mortal Instruments series first?
@@rocioalmanzar2327 No. The only thing you would miss is the little hidden references and family tie to the mortal instruments. However, you do have to red the mortal instruments before the dark artifices
The Infernal Devices is top 3 best series I’ve ever read. The characters are utterly unforgettable. The ending truly broke me, I sobbed for hours and sometimes I reread the end to have a good old-fashioned cry. It is the first series I recommend to anybody looking for a new book
YES!!!! On Carry On, The Sun Is Also A Star, The Diviner Series, Eliza and Her Monsters, An Ember in the Ashes, Our Dark Duet, Clockwork Princess ( her best writing I think), Strange the Dreamer, Crooked Kingdom, Ari and Dante. The others I have not read yet, but they are all on my TBR! Wonderful video :)
Idk if you're even reading this, but if you are just let me tell you that your english is so beautiful! I'm not a native speaker and I can understand everything soo perfectly and it's so smooth😉😍
I want to tell you that several of the reasons why reading is that you are going to discover new words, the fewer mistakes you will make and you will be having fun. Download the App El Libro Total for free and get the most out of it.
I have also NEVER cried about a book, except one other, as much as I did about Clockwork Princess. That woman BROKE me with that book and I love it so much
I haven't seen anyone mention Strange the Dreamer yet so... I needed to! It's just such a nice feeling book, even if the ending doesn't make any sense when you think about it. It's the book I read most recently from this list and just... Lazlo's mind is the most beautiful thing ever described oof
Did anyone else guess Hannah's picks based on the gaps in her bookshelf??? When I saw the gap between carry on and fangirl I was like YESSSSSSSSS SHE PROBS PICKED THE NEWEST VERSION OF CARRY ON and I am so happy you love it cos it's my FAVOURITE BOOK!!!
Honestly Cassandra Clare is probably the best YA author ever in my opinion 😋😍 I've read every single book in the Shadowhunter Chronicles and am absolutely DESPERATE to read Queen of Air and Darkness, as well as The Last Hours series, The Wicked Powers series, The Red Scrolls of Magic series and the rest of The Ghosts of the Shadow Market series of short stories 😂 I plan to prepare for all her upcoming books by rereading every series in the Shadowhunter Chronicles so far
I finished Carry on a few days ago and still I’m not over it and I’m thinking about it all the time. It’s been a long time since a book had such a big impact on me and aahhh I just want to read again and again and AGAIN
I just purchased Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe and I'm super excited to read it!! You are such an inspiration and you inspire me to read more, even though I read 24/7 :)
I read Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe because of your recommendation in this video and I LOVED IT SO MUCHHH! The book made me so emotional, I already want to reread it 😂
OMG! I love Cassandra Clare! The Infernal Devices is my favourite, I’ve read everything apart from The Midnight Princess. I recommend this because it is so good. Here are some of my favourite YA books: Shatter Me series Hunger Games Divergent Shadow and Bone The Maze Runner Enjoy 😊!
I read ari and dante this year and it really hit me hard. I read it on spring break and since then I've read it 3 times and honestly it's one of the most beautifully written books I've ever had the chance to read. The way ari that ari holds everything in really reminded me of myself and it gave me so much happiness to see it put in words. I read it when I was struggling with accepting that I liked my best friend and it just really hit home for me. Because in the end it was a story about coming to terms with sexuality, falling in love with your best friend, and learning to express yourself; all things that I have been doing for a while. It's a gorgeous story and will forever be one of my favorites
Quite a comprehensive list. Although, I don't think any of them have any goblins in... a great shame 🤔 Perhaps you could do a list of your top 5 books featuring goblins?
You should read Amanda Hocking. Now that i think about it she writes about trolls. But her books are so easy to read I recommend them if you ever start feeling like you're in a slump.
*spoiler-free* I'm just finishing the Crooked Kingdom and I'm already so sad that the duology is almost over. I love all of the characters, the style, the setting and oh god the suspense. I'm not lying if I say the book is like a shot of adrenaline for me. I love how some chapters just end off on a mini cliff-hanger, and even though you think what's gonna happen, there's always the last sentence in the chapter that just makes you go "YO WHAT?!" I'm barely getting back into reading, this is only a fourth book I've read since starting to read again after so many years but I can already tell that this duology is going to be my favorite of all time.

i love seeing you crying over books.. i mean i love seeing your endless love.. because i have similar feelings for some books (for example the book thief by markus zusak) and it's beautiful to see someone who feel it the same way. i adore you, hannah.
My native language isn't English but i wanted to read more English books which i could read willingly. And thanks to you for being so clear and lovely when you explain the books. Very good video, loves from Turkey 💕💕💕
My top three (that you didn't mention because I love Six of Crows) are: 1) The Song of Achilles 2) The Raven Cycle 3) All For the Game Obviously TRC isn't a new recommendation because it's on your shelf but if you haven't checked out the other two I'd highly recommend them.
I'm glad you're enjoying TSOA, it's my favorite book! Also, it's always great to see other people who love AFTG because I don't see it mentioned here a lot on booktube!

Aristotle and Dante Discover the secrets of the Universe is a very good, and I got the book thinking it was going to be about space but wasn't and I still loved it.
Love videos like this! I keep getting excited when you mention a book I love haha :) Some of these books are being pushed significantly up in priority on my tbr now..😅 x
Eliza and her monsters is such a good book I read it last year and it’s so amazing! I also have anxiety and I could really relate to her and get an attachment to Eliza
The only book I've read was An Ember In The Ashes, and it is such a beautiful book. Right now I'm reading Clockwork Prince so I haven't read Clockwork Princess yet. OMG JEM. 😍 Any other Jessa shippers on here?

Sometimes you don't find that peace of mind somewhere else, but sitting in a secluded corner, with a book in your hands, for this reason I share this book for you to enjoy, I know you are going to do it. Read it by downloading the App El Libro Total.
Hearing that you enjoy reading about books with two different people who end up meeting near the end or midway through, as well as enjoying historical books made me think of All the Light We Cannot See. I loved it when I read it for a high school course, however that was about 3 years ago... I definitely recommend checking it out of you haven't already🙂
i’ve been using this video to pick out YA novels to read and so far i’ve read 5 from this list and i gotta say none of them have disappointed me! what a great list thank you for sharing!

I love the fact that I’ve watched so many of your videos and taken so many of your suggestions from past videos that I can proudly say ive read 11/15 books mentioned. The night circus is #1 on my list because it was just so beautiful
I thought it was based off the names of the books in the trilogy 'The Infernal Devices' by Cassandra Clare. Like Clockwork Prince, Clockwork Princess etc

you talking about aristotle and dante discover the secrets of the universe almost made me cry, the book is just so perfect and omg i love it and i cried so much and omg
A Clockwork Reader I didn’t know that. That’s so cool. This is very off topic but I feel like I’m one of the only people that I know about that has curly/wavy thick hair and I love having it. Most curly haired girls I know wish they had straight hair and always straighten it.

SAME I LOVE THE SIX OF CROWS DUOLOGY AND THE SECOND BOOK IS MY FAVOURITE❤️❤️❤️🤪 and the shadow and bone series that the author made and THERES A NETFLIX SERIES COMING OUT INCLUDING BOTH OF THE SERIES😱😱❤️❤️ the cast better match the descriptions of the characters
I just finished Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe tonight and I adore it. I was so nervous that you wouldn't mention it here that I literally heaved in relief when you said it as 2nd ❤️💙 My faves are probably The Raven Cycle, They both die at the end and The Lunar chronicles at the moment
you HAVE to read the War of the Fae series !! With what it sounds like, you like a more fantasy kind of style and that's exactly what this is! it centers around a girl named Jayne who gets caught up in the world of fae and through this series she just has this attitude that I've never read in any other book. She has a potty mouth and makes a lot of bad decisions but these are some of the only books that I have actually laughed out loud and cried while reading. it is a long series with I think 10 books but they are all so good that you just can't put them down. I always recommend this book to any reader or non reader bc it is such a fun and interesting read. ALSO I just found your channel and even though I never really watch book videos I have watched so many of yours! Much love!!
I second your thoughts on THE WEIGHT OF FEATHERS! It certainly deserves more attention, and it’s one incredible read. (I think her other books are wonderful too, but I will always have a soft spot for that one in particular!)
My top 3 favorite books are The sun is also a star The perks of being a wallflower The hate u give And I couldn't not mention The fault in our Stars which is on the forth place.
omg i agree with our dark duet sooo much ! i loved the book and it was one of my all time favourites but it actually destroys me, i don’t think i’ll ever be able to re read😂💓
It makes me smile how when you talk about your favorite books your eyes start watering a little because you love them so much❤
pickell pink they’re all just....so good 😭💓

And the goosebumps. It happens everytime. The tears and goosebumps.
So trueeeeeee, but I feel like its so sad cuz its rare to find someone who loves books as much as you do😭😭

Yesss you always give the best book recommendations can’t wait to add these to my tbr ❤️❤️❤️
Clorox Bleach YOU
I thought I drank you?🤔
I just purchased Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe and I'm super excited to read it!! You are such an inspiration and you inspire me to read more, even though I read 24/7 :)
Maggie Herman thank you so much! You’re so sweet! 💗💗💗
I am pretty sure that every book on this list means everything to you, Hannah. :)
Here are some of my favourite YA books:
Shatter Me series
Hunger Games
Divergent
Shadow and Bone
The Maze Runner
Enjoy 😊!
Although, I don't think any of them have any goblins in... a great shame 🤔 Perhaps you could do a list of your top 5 books featuring goblins?
ahahaha
The Book Goblin I loled
You should read Amanda Hocking. Now that i think about it she writes about trolls. But her books are so easy to read I recommend them if you ever start feeling like you're in a slump.
i love you book goblin
I love me too.
Thank you for giving Ava Lavender love. It's an all time favorite.
Have you ever read the selection?! It is one of my absolute favorites
The gentlemen’s guide has been on my bookshelf, unread forever. But now you’ve inspired me to go ahead and read it!
My top 5 favorite YA novels:
1. Tell the wolves I’m home
2. The thing about jellyfish
3. Walk two moons
4. The graveyard book
5. The book thief
OMG similar as mine
I love walk two moons💖🥺
My native language isn't English but i wanted to read more English books which i could read willingly. And thanks to you for being so clear and lovely when you explain the books. Very good video, loves from Turkey 💕💕💕
My top three (that you didn't mention because I love Six of Crows) are:
1) The Song of Achilles
2) The Raven Cycle
3) All For the Game
Obviously TRC isn't a new recommendation because it's on your shelf but if you haven't checked out the other two I'd highly recommend them.
R Jenson I haven’t! Thank you for the recs!
A Clockwork Reader No problem! I hope you enjoy them.

Some of these books are being pushed significantly up in priority on my tbr now..😅 x
Helena x Yayy!! I hope you get to read some of them soon! 💓
OMG JEM. 😍
Any other Jessa shippers on here?

Clockwork Princess is definitely one of my favorites too! I need to read Our Dark Duet!
sandyreadsalot yes yes yes please do! It’s so wonderful!
Sometimes you don't find that peace of mind somewhere else, but sitting in a secluded corner, with a book in your hands, for this reason I share this book for you to enjoy, I know you are going to do it. Read it by downloading the App El Libro Total.
An Ember in the Ashes literally brought me out of a three year reading slump 🙌🙌🙌
Honestly I love every single YA book mentioned here but I would put them in quite a different order
Hearing that you enjoy reading about books with two different people who end up meeting near the end or midway through, as well as enjoying historical books made me think of All the Light We Cannot See. I loved it when I read it for a high school course, however that was about 3 years ago... I definitely recommend checking it out of you haven't already🙂
i am the same way with you and TID, I cried so freaking much during clockwork princess, it hurt me so bad 😭
A Court of Books and Pages it still hurts tbh 😭😭😭
I still want to cry every time I think about it 😭

All time favourite UA-camr! 💗💗💗
Helin thank you so much 💕😭💕
girl the gentleman’s guide to vice and virtue is literally my favorite book of all time i smiled so big when you first showed it
Did anyone else think her name was based on Burgess’ A Clockwork Orange before watching this?
I thought it was based off the names of the books in the trilogy 'The Infernal Devices' by Cassandra Clare. Like Clockwork Prince, Clockwork Princess etc
You know? El Libro Total platform is ideal for you, who like reading, and are looking for what to read. In it you can find thousands of literary works, musical pieces, works of art, all totally free, download it on your cell phone and enjoy reading.
I SAW CROOKED KINGDOM AND SCREEEECHED! GLAD YOU LOVE IT AS WELL!
I hope I’m right. The new ‘carry on’ illustrated cover edition in the back of your intro is not on the shelf so I am hoping it is in the video!!
Hii
you talking about aristotle and dante discover the secrets of the universe almost made me cry, the book is just so perfect and omg i love it and i cried so much and omg
I’m so confused cause I swear I’ve watched this before. Help me 😂
Mk 888888 Lolll I talk about these books a lot 😆
The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender is also one of my favorite books. It lives up to its title, strange and beautiful.
If you don’t mind me asking, Hannah, what heritage are you of? Your features are absolutely STUNNING. I would love to have your thick, dark curls.
Katie'sBookCorner I’m Persian!
That’s so cool!
A Clockwork Reader OMG IM PERSIAN TOO. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO SPEAK PERSIAN
A Clockwork Reader I didn’t know that. That’s so cool. This is very off topic but I feel like I’m one of the only people that I know about that has curly/wavy thick hair and I love having it. Most curly haired girls I know wish they had straight hair and always straighten it.
I recommend the App El Libro Total. The book that contains everything and everyone will be very beneficial to you, and remember that those who love reading have everything at their fingertips.
Queen of Terrasen on your profile pic❤️
SoC, Ava Lavender, Infernal Devices, Ember + more are some of my favourites too - they're just so WONDERFUL omg
Okay am i the only one who thought her username was because of Clockwork Orange lolol. I was WRONG hahah
eleni morr A lot of people think that, don’t worry lolll 😂😄
I just finished Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe tonight and I adore it. I was so nervous that you wouldn't mention it here that I literally heaved in relief when you said it as 2nd ❤️💙
My faves are probably The Raven Cycle, They both die at the end and The Lunar chronicles at the moment
When you look at her, you know that she is reading lots of books📖📖
The millions of books in the background totally don't give it away lol
you HAVE to read the War of the Fae series !! Much love!!
Omg, you are so pretty
Anirak 934 Thank you!
I second your thoughts on THE WEIGHT OF FEATHERS! It certainly deserves more attention, and it’s one incredible read. (I think her other books are wonderful too, but I will always have a soft spot for that one in particular!)
My top 3 favorite books are
The sun is also a star
The perks of being a wallflower
The hate u give
And I couldn't not mention The fault in our Stars which is on the forth place.
omg i agree with our dark duet sooo much ! i loved the book and it was one of my all time favourites but it actually destroys me, i don’t think i’ll ever be able to re read😂💓
yes my most anticipated video!!! THANK YOU!!!
Antonina Lzr I hope you enjoyed it!
17:27 I'm reading "Six of Crows" and I'm so happy to hear that
have you ever talked about Rick Riordans books on your channel? if not do you think you ever will?
Rebecca Di Angelo yes! I love the Percy Jackson series!
As someone, who is not into YA at all, your wonderful videos really inspired me to give it a try. I can't wait to read all the mentioned books. :)
freebird xxx I hope you love everything you try! 💓💓
You should read Call Me by Your Name
Gaba Gaba Perez I’ve already read it!
Have you done a review on it
