Dr.Gregor, I hope you have read the latest research on erythritol by the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute. Bad news. It has been linked to blood clotting, stroke, heart attack and death. Apparently even consuming 30 grams of the substance is harmful. I have been using stevia mixed with Erythritol for the past decade and I have not had any adverse health effects. Apparently, they would be doing more research on it. Could you please weigh in on this? I love my natural sweetener and this news is really bad news for people like me.
He's the only doctor I know who is not only intelligent but also has an amazing fun loving personality. How could you not smile while watching this? :)
I know Dr. Greger is busy, but I think I speak the majority of us when I say that we figuratively eat these videos up, and that we would love a more regular schedule. Surely Doc. Mikey can pump out one a month, at least? (TIP for the doc.: Shoot four at a time. Release slowly.)
Love Dr. Greger in the kitchen! Also, whoever did the captioning, editing and formatting: well done! This was the kind of humor we all need along side important information to save our lives! Bravo!
I've had to cut out oatmeal in the morning to bulk up. Eating 4000 cals a day isn't easy... This is a perfect way to make my oatmeal even healthier but keeping the caloric density high. Thank you so much Dr. G! We need more Chef Gregor vids!
Wow. I just made them, and though I didn‘t try them yet, they really don‘t look any different to your normal store-bought granola. Okay, I lied. They look way better, and I am already looking forward to breakfast tomorrow! (I got my hands on violet sweet potatoes today, so I bought some for the groatnola).
I made it and love it. I love when you get the clusters where you left the skin on the sweet potatoes. Thank you for this and everything else, Dr. Greger!
It’s great! Found that 8 cups oatmeal is just right for lumpiness. 8 cups fills 3 oven sheets. 12 would not fit. Cooking the potato in the oven took a long time. Next time may steam it in pressure cooker.
My mom did the same thing in Maine growing up. Baked potatoes in pockets to walk to school, then eat them for lunch. Recipe looks delicious and easy! Thank you! 😊
I am going to try this tomorrow. Thank you for the recipe and hand warmer tip. I am always freezing and can’t say no to a healthy snack. Please make more of these! Love the channel!
@@Gamblor2000 It works perfect for me because I run along the shoreline. It’s extremely windy and very chilly. My hands get numb even with gloves on. So, reheating my hands up every so often, is a welcomed treat. I peel them first so that they are easier to eat later on. I hope this helps.
