Was thinking about asking how much the barwork weighed but you were one step ahead. Nice one. What i would really like to know (if you havent worked out already) when you start setting up the front suspension is how much you can compress the front bumps, (unless you are going hydro). I know on an earlier vid you mentioned going back to standard style bumps from the 80 series made a huge improvement. I wanna do the same but cant get any definite info on what to allow for compressed length of the standard style stops.
Haha I did have a few messages about it too, it was a good idea! I’ll be sure to add that into the video, I’m staying with the factory bumps. They don’t compress a whole lot because only the end but is able to compress, the rest is hard and doesn’t so they would only compress like 30mm or there abouts at a guess!
@@DanielKistler when you had it sitting on them with the springs out in the other video i was wondering how much more they wiuld go. Ive seen the 80 series in a press squash to around 55mm. Be interesting to chuck a standard one in a press.
@@bennyjahmin3953 they don’t go too much further than that. Obviously on a hard hit they might but I always leave enough clearance so the shock won’t bottom out even on a big hit
Coming along awesome man. Great to watch barwork getting fabricated and actually giving out tips as you go. Mine runs and exo cage so different mounting but I'm wondering how you will mount your roof sliders? If you can't weld them?
Thanks mate! I try and give out good info haha it’s pretty valuable. I can weld them to the roof just not the a pillar. Will be in next weeks video. I’ll be up the bush so hopefully I can find a bit of reception to post it haha.
Thanks mate. It’s nothing special at the moment, but In the second half of the year I’d like to make a start on it. Will probably make it on the channel! Lots of stuff to do to it

@@DanielKistler check out my old girl, when ya bored lol, need to upload a new vid, done a fair bit since this one, ua-cam.com/video/BL4JId5ynNQ/v-deo.html
Hanging out to see what you do with the gvm upgrade. If got an 88 gq td42, 3in on 35s. Ripped the seats out, everything is ally except the front and rear bar. Last I weighed it i was 3.05T.... Just started looking into getting gvm now.
The whole car is getting engineered so the gvm upgrade is apart of that. Only going to 3.3t. Can go to 3.5 with a brake upgrade but I didn’t want to spend the big money on a brake upgrade. Probably about 2-3k
@@DanielKistler Cheer mate. I'm looking to do the same. Finding it hard to get a decent engineer in Melbourne. Are you going to do it with stock wheels?
@@DanielKistler that's not bad then, I didn't realise they couldn't just engineer the turbo, so he's gone over the whole car and picked on a heap of little shit that's not even turbo related
The whole car has to be legal and able to be engineered aswell. I’m not just getting a gvm upgrade, the whole car is getting engineered. So yeah you’ll have dramas unless the whole car is legal.
Looks mint dude!
Thanks mate
Love the vid mate 🤙🏻🤙🏻

"Also will the stockies are on i think we gotta do a shed skid" love that

Another great video loved the shed skid .
Thanks mate
Hi Daniel, great vids, great builds. Where can we source a rear bar like that?
Thanks for watching! Unfortunately I only make that stuff for myself so probably won’t find one exactly the same!
Great video mate
Keep up the good work
