    I bought a 1977 square axel long pto 135 with a c and g cab best yok ever getting her done up atm It came with a 3rd valve ment for a log splitter and we sell wood so that'll be one if it's main jobs 😀 can't wait for her to be done

    You can add a return valve Olly, my brother fitted one to his 35 and uses a log splitter on it.
    That 65 would be well able to work your wrapper. 👍💪

    You can put a return on the 65, anywhere on the top of the back axle like the filler plug. find a plug the same size and make a return.

Life is hard and the world is in turmoil right now so we are all doing our best to stay positive and upbeat. Stay true to your self, and don't let it get you down. We just have to be grateful for what we have and faith that it is going to get better. Things will improve and thing will get back to normal as can be. Just be careful with the telehandlers, as they are blind on the right hand side when the arm is at a certain height. I have a TN55S New Holland set up with a forklift mast on the rear. Full 360 degree vision, unload / load by mirrors, so do not have to twist my neck off to see where the tynes are. Have lifted 3 tonne with it on a 600 mm centre. You are correct about the old tractors being great fun to drive. A 1962 series 35 Massey Ferguson, 3 cylinder Perkins diesel, also set up with a forklift mast on the rear. Had some great fun with that old girl. Am still happy to jump on that and do a day's work with that, but, do have to pick the work that is done, due to it only good for lifting 1.6 tonne safely. Any more than that, the old girl starts to do monos!!! Then have to remember how to use the steering brakes! Done a job in the foothills years ago, and two others were watching me. Their comment to me was that it was great to watch someone who knows what they are doing on a tractor forklift.

    Engine oil pressure looks a bit low on gauge on the 65. Probably pay to give the old girl an oil and filter change with good quality oil. If it still reads low, get a local engineer to connect a pressure gauge to the block to make sure you have enough oil pressure.

    Agriline supply a spool valve assembly that fits on top of the gearbox. Or you could fit a selector valve to the top of the gearbox and a separate spool valve block. Run a hose from the selector valve to the spool valve and a return hose from the spool valve return port to a tapping point in the gearbox casing ( see the 65 instruction book for the location of one). Then install hoses and quick release connectors on the service ports from the spool valve.

    • @fredbaker3822
      @fredbaker3822 2 роки тому +1

      hi there, older tractor vintage have trip loaders for example the massey ferguson 35 has a 735 original loader so the hydraulic lift up and down but there isn't a hydraulic tip so if your moving hay? then you would want a hydraulic tip as then you can have bale spikes, however what livestock do you have? so if your making hay you would want something to be able to run drum mower, haybob, and baler i presume you do square bales? so then you would need about 30 hp at least to run those, so perhaps a old david brown for example a '885' however are you just needing a loader to move hay? as you could also get a rear bale spike, or rear forklift mast to move hay saving you to get a loader however if your are constaly needed to move other stuff then could be usefull however hay is only in the summer so you would only need it half the time and sometimes loader get in the way of vision and are heavy, escapically if there is no power steering. old masseys are good and parts are cheap , a 135 would be good however now days they are expensive, you would also want to run toppers and bale trailer

    Get a rescue dog but make sure your existing dog gets on well with it and you can return it if it doesn't work out. Lots of dogs being given away as people go back to work. Being in Norfolk I guess a Norfolk terrier might seem an idea but they are a bit small! Greyhounds may seem an odd choice but they have a great temperament and don't actually need much exercise. Don't make things too positive - tell it how it is, especially with this government's appalling handling of UK farming...

    To solve you return on the hydrolic
    Under the seat on the left hand side there is a grub screw with a hex head on it it's about half inch in size plumb the return back to that.
    And your low oil pressure
    If you take of your oil filter housing
    And blow and air line in to each hole it will unblock any ports and return your oil pressure. Give them a go.
