Thanks so much for popping in to join me for my fav patterns for this month! It has been brought to my attention that the sound is missing for the first 20 seconds or so of the section on the Summer Gansey. Here's what I said in that section:
"Moving right along to sweater number three. This is our friend, Hinterm Stein, again. And this is the Summer Gansey. This one, not unlike the MagicDot one earlier, just attracted me as a great wear everywhere kind of summer and transitional to summer short sleeve sweater."
My apologies for the editing error! It seems I somehow turned off the audio for that clip. Fortunately, it was a short one!

I just started swatching for a pattern calling for an Icelandic unspun like Léttlopi, the Saga Sweater
by Marita Clementz. Instead I'm using Jody Long Andeamo Lite. It's wonderfully soft, loosly spun 2-ply aran weight 85% wool/15% alpaca from Peru, and nicely affordable. I think it's going to work up perfectly. Check it out for you Malin. Thanks for the inspirational video. I can't wait to see your FOs.

I enjoyed your video as I'm making a fun sock in the exact same colour tone you chose for your knits ':D (Chrysanthemum frutescens Socks by Hunter Hammersen, in Schoppel-Wolle Admiral Hanf Malachit). I'm currently knitting this sock (the pattern is discontinued, unfortunately) to entertain myself as I knit a second Luxa by Andrea Rangel. I don't usually knit twice a patter, but this one is just too good. It's a simple knit (hence the more complicated sock), but OMG the result is incredible: elegant, flattering and it can go with almost any style. Besides, the patter is probably the best I've ever found. It's clear, precise, detailed and very easy to follow. It is so wallet-worthy.
