@AnEruditeAdventure not at all. Just as a generic fantasy show, it had major flaws like time and distance and weird character stories going nowhere and that's taking Tolkien out of it. Add that back in and it stank. I think it's what happens when American writers try to rewrite an English story.
Kind of glad it’s all over lol It started out quite promising and ended a frustrating mix of melodrama and tedium. Really enjoyed your weekly breakdowns though and they will be the only thing I miss! Thanks for all your time and insight ☺️
So I've finally worked out what has never worked for me in this show. There absolutely no where I want to go or visit or even live. In the movies Hobbiton and Rivendell were two places I would to go for respite. They are absolutely breaktaking and we saw a fairbit of them. RoP has nowhere like that, it's all so dystopian.

That’s a very good point. And I agree. As cool looking as some of the locations are, I have no desire visit them.
