I love fishing, especially kayak saltwater fishing. I have kayaked fished for a long time but I've never owned a kayak this nice. It is awesome exploiting the potential of this Hobie Mirage Outback kayak, especially standing up and catching fish. This speckled trout made the trip on this extremely windy day. The bay was gusting and rolling waves in, so this was really my only option on this day down here on the Alabama Gulf Coast.

Badass! Just stumbled on your channel and subscribed. I really want to get this kayak. I am saving up for it even tho I know I can get a cheaper one and have money left over for a badass fish finder and other gadgets. I feel as much as I would use this kayak I would feel proud having this model even though I wouldn’t be able to afford a fish finder afterwards and other cool attachments for a while.

I’ve found that fishing these waterways in a kayak is super important. Never been able to catch the specks like I have in a kayak. They get spooked pretty easy and the kayaks seem to do the job well.

Hard to beat an Outback, I like it better than my PA.
Yup, I could’ve bought a new PA but went with this new Outback intentionally because of the size

I’m new to Hobie outback, how do you get the wheels off by yourself
Getting them off is extremely easy. Just undo the little pin, and lift up on the yak.
@@BamaSaltwater how about when your back from the water? That’s the most trouble I’m having
@@IMGhostRogue that’s the hardest part. Easiest way without modification is to flip it on it’s side, install the wheels, then flip back over. Boondox used to make really good landing gear but it’s hard to find and can be fairly challenging to install
Great video! Kinda short. I like the 15 to 20 min long videos, not long but you feel like you saw some catches. See RX Angler channel in TX.
I usually do too, sometimes the weather does not cooperate. I was 2-3 feet in Mobile Bay because of the wind that day haha
